Tough love is what you get but that's part of the game. Prices are very fair. We signed up for month to month plan for 150 month and that includes 4 days a week of training. If you pre-pay for several months in advance the monthly price drops. Parking is usually good and is available right in front of the gym. Seating is also available inside for parents to watch their kids. If you or your kids looking to get in shape or are serious about boxing give George a call. You won't regret it!

I've trained at gyms in Boston, Rhode Island, and New York City but this is by far my favorite place due to the personal attention and positive atmosphere. They also have legendary Kenyan boxer David Kamau here helping out and training. In addition to being a great boxer, he's one of the most positive people I've ever meet . Many of the poetry boards that compliment the sculptures will leave you scratching your head and a few will leave you with a smile on your face! The photo opportunities are endless and the grassy path through the sculptures is a nice nature walk. There are classes that might be too hard, too easy, or just right , but just like the porridge and Goldie locks- learn what you like and go with it! They've got incredibly diverse classes available to all capabilities, I'm currently only taking the Yoga classes. I've heard great things about the cycle portion from both instructors to students. I've tried most classes at some point and I have yet to go to a class that I didn't like, there are some tough classes here that I needed to work to push through (and became frustrated with myself), but have never felt left out to dry or fail in a class. There were always encouraging words or ways offered to revise a movement to suit what my capabilities were. (USE YOUR BLOCKS! ;). ) I've never felt I needed to push beyond what I was able and am consistently grateful for the energy this place gives me and leaves me with during my long stressful weeks. They have their yoga classes in dark heated rooms and it makes classes so soothing at the end of a hectic day, you'll adore the atmosphere, the energy, the instructors, the facilities, the welcome, and the warm goodbyes! If I were to mention downsides it would only be 2: The cost (recently risen), it makes classes and workouts unattainable to many in a consistent manner. It's the journey." "Breathe light into the dark corners of your body." The flow was smooth & accessible to all levels. Beginners could follow along as Kyla demonstrated most of the poses, while more experienced practitioners had opportunities to explore expressions like Bound Half Moon & Bird of Paradise. Kyla blended Sanskrit cues, English cues, demonstrations, & gentle alignment adjustments throughout class. The music moved through contemporary country, uplifting feel-good tracks, & then softened into Trevor Hall's You Can't Rush Your Healing, echoing everything Kyla had been teaching. There was about 1/2 dozen…read morepeople that did the U.S. oath at 0900, and vendors opened at 11 AM there wasn't much to do during those first 2 hours except to watch vendors setting up, when we finally ate the Turkish food that we had was very good. We were disappointed due to the fact that there were not a lot of nations represented some of the ones we saw were Mexico, Turkey, Taiwan, Somalia and a several from the Middle East. Only one we saw from what I call main stream Europe was the Irish one. Please correct me if I missed some. While walking/standing around checking out the event from a distance 3 different event people on carts came to and asked me if they could help me also there were a large police presence, walking, on bikes and motorcycles, if nothing else we did feel safe. Most of the vendors we saw did not represent any country they were just there selling stuff. We are hoping that the event will be better next year, I gave 3 stars on my review so it wouldn't discourage people from attending next years Festival of Cultures.
