After graduating, he attended the University of Detroit Dental School, graduating in 1987 with a doctorate in dental surgery. Dr. Matt is the second generation of dentists in the Krutsch family. Robert Charles Krutsch, his father, established the family practice in 1957. The practice was known as Krutsch Family Dentistry until 1996, when Dr. Matt took over from his father and renamed the practice Adult & Pediatric Dental Care Dr. Matt is experienced in all aspects of dentistry from children's dentistry to oral surgery, endodontics and orthodontics. He has deep and extensive expertise in the growth and development of children's teeth - and he continues to expand his knowledge with continuing education. He has completed courses at the World Clinical Laser Institute to enhance his ability to perform endodontic and periodontal procedures. Laser dentistry improves the ability to destroy bacteria, which raises the success rate of treating periodontal disease and abscessed teeth. Dr. Matt and his wife, Karen, live in Coldwater. When he's not working, he enjoys golfing, basketball, tennis, racquetball and relaxing with his family.
