These folks moved into this new store several years ago. They have some great deals and are very nice and polite when you stop by. They use to have customer appreciation get together at the old place but I have noticed any here. Was on there mailing list for a bit but not sure if they do tht anymore. The new facility is very nice but I don't see an area where the appreciation get together could happen. Still a locally owned place so check them out. read more

I posted this when this new location first opened a few years ago, but I will update below. They just keep getting better! "[Their old location on SE 15th St was in the midst of a construction zone, but it was still worth braving the traffic for their craft beer, wine & whiskey selection, not to mention their friendly and helpful staff - but the new location is AWESOME! They are now SO easy to get to on S. Douglas Blvd. next to the new Zaxby's, and have a great parking lot. The new store is much more spacious so they have added many new items - get a shopping cart when you enter! Their prices are competitive and if they don't have what you're looking for, they will order it.]" It's now crazy 2020 and Midwest Wine & Spirits is STILL as awesome as ever! The staff is well-informed so can assist you in finding exactly what you need and they are super friendly & helpful. They have great prices and a huge selection of everything to choose from so they are our go-to for craft beer. No need to ever drive across town to Byron's or Freeman's - THIS is the place! In addition to many fine wines & spirits, there is an entire wall of craft beer on shelves and another half wall of cold brewskis in the coolers. They have a special area for new arrivals from local breweries as well so you can keep up with new releases. There is also a large area of "single" cans & bottles in case you want to try out some items before buying larger amounts. They will also special order anything you are unable to find. All employees are masked and social distancing is in place. They will carry your purchases to your vehicle. They will even deliver within a certain zone and you can easily order online for pickup as well. I prefer to "shop" but feel very safe & comfortable inside the store. This is a great medium to large-ish liquor store. They have a great selection of a little of everything and have employees who are friendly and ready to help. I feel good going in there and asking questions about beer, wine, or liquor. If you're in MWC, this is a good spot, check 'em out! read more

They have their own app and you can order and pay online. They will either deliver it or do curbside pickup. This is great since they don't seem to enforce masks for customers. Several customers came and went maskless while I waited for my order. read more

Large facility with a large selection of alcohol. They have the store divided into each type of alcohol (wine, beer, gin, whiskey, vodka, rum, even boxed wine!) and have large signs from the ceiling that help customers navigate through the store. The staff is friendly and circulate the store and will help answer any questions. I will definitely shop here again. read more
