I do not often write reviews and typically only do so if I had a great experience or a horrible one. This thankfully was a great experience during a difficult time. My water heater failed on a Sunday... water everywhere. I made the phone call to Midwestern Plumbing and was very surprised that they could accommodate me on the same day. I did pay more for a Sunday but it was not a crazy amount so i was happy. They were clean and polite. The replacement took about three hours start to finish and I was very happy with the result. They put down floor protection and wore booties and cleaned up after themselves. Not certain what I was expecting but this was not it. Very happy with the service. read more

Had a clogged drain in sink. I know emergency is more expensive not the problem with that. But the service technician was only here for 20 minutes and charged $609.00. Didn't have to use a snake or anything. But still charged that amount of money.I knew the service call was $250. But why all the extra money I don't understand no receipt was given or anything.I would never use this company again read more

Do Better! Midwestern Plumbing installed the plumbing in our New Construction home along with all the other homes in our new neighborhood. So many people have had nothing but issue after issue with plumbing and we just found out that the plumbing lines to our water heater were installed backwards, Cold on the right and Hot on the Left. We are not the only home that this happened to either there are others. Hot is always on the right and Cold on the left .... ALWAYS and to find out they have installed other water heaters the same way. WHY? Do the employees not know? Are they not properly trained? Do they just not care? Who inspected the plumbing and did not catch it or did and did not nothing about it. I get it things happen but this is something that should NEVER happen. Hot on the right and Cold on the left. We have had other issues and I will never use Midwestern Plumbing. We only used them the 1st year then used another Plumbing Company we know and trust their work from previous work a previous home. read more

Terrible prices. Service call fee was supposed to be applied to work done. Tiny amount of work should have easily been covered by the fee, but was charged double the service fee. Very unhappy surprise! How is it possible we spent that much on almost no work? Terrible prices. I won't try them again, and I wouldn't recommend that you do either. read more

I needed a tub faucet replaced. I had one from Home Depot for20.00. It was defective. It was replaced and although the service call was 59.00: I was charged 184.00. It way over what others charge. read more

I cannot say enough great things about Gino and Ben who came out to fix an outside leak to my home. They explained the whole process, and took extreme care to make sure that when they dug up the yard to do as little damage to my landscaping as possible. And when the job was done, the clean up was fantastic. What was a very stressful situation and day was made much less stressful by their professionalism. After the job I needed paperwork written up by the office for my insurance company. When I reached out for this I had to issue receiving what I needed the very next day in my email. We set an appointment for the plumber Kevin to come on Tuesday November 30th and no he showed and did not call. I called and the service person said he couldn't come because he was held up on another job. We rescheduled for today for him to come between 8am and 9am. He no showed again and didn't call. We called at 8am the company told us he had till 9am. We called at 9am and they called him and he told them he is in quarantine. This company is not professional. This review is well over due! Our experience with Midwestern Plumbing was nothing but positive. The members of our family were enjoying lukewarm showers for about a week before I took action. After doing some major research which consumed 6 whole minutes of my Saturday evening I diagnosed the problem. The heating element of our water heater finally gave up the ghost and had to be replaced. After having a company, which I will not disclose, come out and "fix" our cold shower situation, we left for a 8 day family vacation. We returned home from vacation to find a water bill of $285 which is usually $35 and a electric bill of $800 and still no hot water. I was convinced, with out a doubt, that our generous donation to Clermont county and Duke energy was a result of the heating element in our water heater not being installed correctly. The "company" sent out a different employee to inspect the previous service person's handy work. The second service person started the investigation with questions like " has your electric bill gone up recently" and "what does your water bill look like". After a 30 second question and answer session, he informed us we had a water leak and the company he represented did not offer that service. That day I spent a little more time doing some of my world famous research and contacted 4 plumbers. I explained to all four our situation, we live in a house built on a slab with no crawl space and we have a water leak. It was then explained to me that before they could help I needed to reach out to American leak detection to find where in the slab the leak was located. To no fault of their own, American Leak Detection came out and because of possible multiple breaks couldn't pin point where the leak was! The silver lining is we didn't get charged but the down side was we had no idea where the leak was. The gentleman that came out gave us Midwestern Plumbing's name and contact information. I reached out to Midwestern and the previous 4 companies. After giving these 5 companies the new found details of our already fantastic story I was given some less than fantastic news. Two companies tapped out early in round 2. One company was super confident that they did not need to come over and just gave me an estimate, that seemed too low to be true, over the phone. The fourth company told me he couldn't give me an estimate until after he started the work. The fifth company, Midwestern Plumbing, set up an appointment with me to look at the job. John Von Holle was out the next day. He was on time and handled himself professionally. A couple days later he emailed us a quote. We went with Midwestern Plumbing because they were the most professional out of the five and seemed very knowledgeable. The two plumbers from their company were clean cut, personable and knew what they were doing. They found the leak quickly and fixed it without doing half of the work the other companies were planning on doing. It's been three months and everything is still great. Hopefully we won't need a plumber any time soon but if we do there isn't any other company I would call. I highly recommend Midwestern Plumbing. read more
