Last week on 7-24-2013 I was ripped off for 195.00 by Aaron-Andrews Septic Services out of Goshen, Ohio. They had pumped my septic last year and it was full again. The lid was completely under water, I found that strange since I pump every 3-5 yrs and I now had to have it pumped again a little over yr later .. They showed up and pumped for about 10 minutes and said they were full , took my money and left. 6 days later August 1 when I came home from out of town I find the lid is completely under water again so I called them again. The owner argued with me and said he pumped it and it filled back up with water and I had a problem and told me he would not pump it for free I would have to pay again! Mind you it had only been 6 days since I was pumped out so I told him if I had to pay again it would not be him! I called SOS LLC and they were awesome over the phone and showed up very fast and just as awesome in person!.. Aaron & Andrews didn't even replace the lid to my tank properly it was thrown on all crooked and jacked up out of place not even covering it the opening all the way. The owner of SOS said he would be able to tell if the tank was pumped all the way out and sure enough it wasn't! He pumped out of about a half hr or more a bunch of human waste and cleaned out over a foot of sludge from the bottom. He said there was no way one could have that much waste in 6 days if pumped out all the way. The owner of SOS made sure my lid was properly replaced removing dirt that had fallen when Aaron & Andrews took it up and even sucked excess water from my yard so it would dry our quicker.. Thank you SOS!!! !!! You rock and have my business from here on out! I highly recommend SOS if you ever need help with your septic! They are friendly and care about their customers!

Had a fantastic experience with Halpin's Plumbing today. We called yesterday due to an unpleasant…read moreodor from a drain in our basement. They were able to schedule with us for the very next day. Their plumber Darrell called to let me know when they were on the way and arrived right on time. Darrell asked me what issues we were having, looked around and then said we should start with the FREE sewer scope (we had a valupak coupon) and go from there. They worked inside and outside (in the pouring rain!!) to get as good of an assessment as our pipes would accommodate the camera to go. Thankfully nothing urgent to fix, but Darrell gave several recommendations and options that could help fix the odor problem we are having and advised starting with the most economical. He also advised on potential causes to the water influx in our basement and some of the options for fixing that issue as well. As well as looked at a few plumbing things I may want to do in the future and let me know if they were possible and a rough guesstimated cost. At the end...I wasn't charged a dime. They said the coupon for the free scope covered their visit! Their excellent customer service, professionalism, and sound advise earned my future business as well as my referral to anyone needing a good plumber! Thank you, Halpin's!!

Awful company that lied about the job! Darryl, who worked for them in 2018, did the best he could…read morewith the materials they provided. I had roots growing in my pipes and instead of paying another company $7000 to replace the broken pipe at the elbow that allowed the roots to grow in and cause back-ups, he suggested sewer lining, which is supposed to cover all the cracks in old pipes. The quote was $4500 to line 30 feet from the basement out to the end of the yard. There was no mention that the liner can't cover pipe elbows! It was nothing but a disaster! When Darryl attempted to do the job, the 1st thing to happen was the liner got stuck in the pipe, under the basement floor! He had to break open the floor cement to pull it out! He was forced to replace that pipe and redo the floor cement! Then it happened 2 more times! It turned out my pipes were 4 inches and they only had 6 inch liners. Halpin refused to get 4 inch liners! Finally after weeks later, getting the liner in place and supposedly the job was done, my pipes continued to have issues of a back-up on the basement floor! In the meantime, Darryl left the company! I can only imagine why! Each time this happened, I called to complain and they came out and said I had root problems and snaked it to clear it! Each time I asked why I had roots after they lined the pipe, they claimed they told me the liner could not line in an elbow and that's where the roots were! I argued with them that I was never told that but they claimed it was my problem and not under warranty anymore! I told them that from the beginning, I knew the roots were in the elbow and that's what the original job was supposed to fix! I knew because the other company showed me on the video during their $7000 quote! Darryl never told me that the liner would not cover the elbow even though I made a point of telling him that's where the problem was! There's nothing in my quote, either! It says a full 30 feet will be lined! The last guy that came tried to charge me to snake it and I refused! He said he wouldn't charge me that time but anytime in the future, they would! That's 5 yrs ago! I've had back-ups, twice a year since! I've had to call a different plumber each time (Because I refuse to give Halpin another dime) and for the last year have been getting root killer to help! AS A RESULT, ALL PAPER HAS TO BE PUT IN THE TRASH CAN! CAN YOU IMAGINE ALL YOUR DIRTY TOILET PAPER ALWAYS IN THE TRASH!? IT HAPPENED AGAIN YESTURDAY BECAUSE MY 11 YR OLD GRANDSON FORGOT AND PUT PAPER IN THE TOILET AND THAT FAST, IT CAUSED A BACK-UP! I'M NOW 67 YRS OLD AND HAVE TO DEAL WITH POOP BACKING UP ON THE BASEMENT FLOOR, AGAIN! ALL BECAUSE HALPIN PLUMBING RIPPED ME OFF FOR $4500 TO LINE MY SEWER, BUT DIDN'T LINE THE PART I CALLED THEM ABOUT IN THE 1ST PLACE AND THEY DIDN'T TELL ME TILL IT WAS TOO LATE AND OUT OF WARRANTY! Joe Buring of Curry Electric came out to the cemetery yesterday and, with exceptional attention to detail, he installed a new GFCI outlet, repaired other parts of our electrical system, and left with the fountain running like new. He was so personable and a perfectionist at his job. We were completely satisfied with his work. This is the third time I have used Curry Electric. Just last week we needed a few electrical tasks done in our home. The scheduling process was a breeze and Larry Smith arrived within a day of our call. He came out on a sweltering day.
