Panos is a chain bakery/sandwich shop and was recommended by one of the aunties. Stuff you can find here includes sandwiches, wraps, soups, sweet and savory pastries, individual loaves and rolls, salads, coffee, and hot chocolate. Super basic, but high-quality stuff compared to a lot of other chain bakery places we saw as we traveled through Europe. Some of those sweet pastries were just really fancy looking for what's supposed to apparently be a very basic place, while even the basic stuff tasted really delicious. Their croissants were also super delicious, and I thought the raspberry croissant was particularly interesting. This particular location is on the street branching just off Grote Markt (Grand Place) and just across from the Galeries Royales Saint-Hubert's southern entrance. It was near where we were supposed to meet up with our tour group, so we dropped by very quickly to grab some breakfast. Probably more of a 4 star for the area but a 2 star in general so I met in the middle with my rating. Can't beat the portion for the price but in general the kebab wasn't great. The sauces were lackluster so my kebab ended up being pretty dry. They only have one type of chili and it's extremely dry and salty, wish there were more produce options to beef this thing up because the wrap itself isn't great. The place is very clean, however, and the staff is friendly. I'd say come here if you're sick of paying a million dollars to eat the same mediocre food elsewhere.

I had the brunch (8€ for a small plate, 12€ for the big one), it was simple yet good food: pita bread, hummus, seitan with mushroom, mashed vegetables, gazpacho and a almond pastry. Right across from our hotel, we hit up EXKI each morning for breakfast and a sandwich for the train. Salads and Sandwiches can be had for 3-5 euro. 1 euro Chocolate croissants .90 euro croissants 1.90 euro yogarts 1.90 euro café Americano 1.60 macchiato 1.50 euro mini - salads 1 euro fresh orange juice 2-4 euro for a variety of tasty desserts. Everyone is very friendly, it didn't matter which location we visited. They charge a bit more if you sit down, but we just got everything "take away" and ate it in the adjoining park, or me delivering "breakfast in bed" to my sleepy wife back in the hotel.
