Hope the food and the service gets better. Owners probably should make employees feel relax and happy. Coffee was good.

There are many great restaurants in this island. In Mayaguez, there are amazing cafés as well but, this little place stands out. There's delicious food to actually fill you up. There are vegetarian options. Everything is fresh. They cut the veggies and everything right in front of you. It's cozy, feels familiar and it tastes like heaven. I ordered the Migas as an appetizer. The bowl is filled with flavor and couldn't be better honestly. For my main entree I chose the Churrasco pasta and, let me tell you, I have never had a pasta that tasted like your abuela's food. It had all the flavors that represent us: the amarillitos, the good meat and and lots of peppers. My favorite part was the soup tho. They gave us a carrot and bacon soup that was so divine I had to order one to go. I'm very excited about having this place in my city. I can't wait to come back!

Food is not that great, it is good though. However, it is not worth the price. Service was okay.

Stayed next door at TRYP by Wyndham and this beautiful little gem was a hop and a skip away!…read more Atmosphere is very warm and inviting, and so is the staff! We were hungry upon a late evening check in to our hotel and the food did not disappoint! On our first night's meal we ordered some queso frito and as for our main entrees we ordered mofongo vegetales (vegetables) and mofongo de pernil (pork). Both were delicious! So delicious that we ate dinner here two other evenings during our week long stay.. 2nd time was closer to closing time so we ordered a veggie pizza and it was ok as we wanted something light (cauliflower crust, yum)! On our final night's stay, we had dinner here again as we wanted to be close to the plaza for a special concert they were having for the newly re-elected governor of Mayaguez! This time the chuleta de can can (thick bone in pork chop) was ordered by my bestie, and I ordered the meat lovers pizza (just ok). Again, service was excellent as well as the atmosphere. Definitely must try this place!

That said, it was still good in its own right. The main downside was the service, which was slow even though the restaurant wasn't very busy. With more attentive service, this would be a much stronger experience. Worth a visit for the food, but plan for a relaxed pace.
