We had "a lot of dog" at the end of our leash with our little Lucy before we met with Lauren and Jim. Lauren and Jim know exactly what they are doing in training dogs. After just our consultation with them, Lucy was 100% better on the leash and now she loose leash walks everywhere. I also really appreciated that they customized the training for us and for our dog. Lucy has a lot of idiosyncrasies and her behavior didn't always make sense, but Lauren and Jim worked with us to find something that worked specifically for our dog and our situation. Not only were they great at helping us figure out what worked for our dog, but they were honestly just a great time to be around. Training with an energetic dog can be frustrating but they were always extremely helpful and just fun to be around. 10/10 would recommend to anyone in need of dog training services! read more

l got a rescue dog that had been an owner surrender to an organization and went to a Foster home to await adoption... well she got beaten up by some other dogs in the home and was moved to another foster home . Then, I had applied to meet her for adoption & met her, & took her home never looking back. This sweet girl had some tough knocks and behavior issues to go along with them. I enrolled her in a 6 week program with Mighty Dog Services. The team was patient and worked with her throughout the training. Her fear of other dogs, barking at people, pulling on leash walking, nervous pacing, separation anxiety all were resolved. She's a a happy camper that knows what I ask her do, she does it and happily takes praise and treats- and lots of love. Lauren is amazing. Our shepherd/whippet mix Wally is one of the most nervous dogs you'll ever meet. When we moved to Potrero Hill we needed a new dog walker and Lauren came recommended. She was incredibly understanding and patient with Wally on his first day with her and called me to tell me how things were going. She even offered to lend us a dog crate for wally so he would feel more confortable in our new place. Since then we have had Wally board with her and he loves it. Lauren has been dogsitting for me for about 5 years, anytime I go out of town without my dogs. She is the only one I trust with my pack. I have always had multiple dogs and Lauren takes all four of my guys with no issues. They are on a special home prepared diet (which I send along with them) and Lauren never complains! Lauren was referred to us A few years ago and we are so thankful that we have Lauren in our life. She is an amazing, compassionate person. Dogs are her life! I call her a "Dog whisperer". She takes care of our very special amstaff and every time our girl see's Lauren she gets so excited. We had a 17 year old rescue Pit who passed away one year ago. He was blind, deaf with lots of anxiety. Lauren offered to take him with our amstaff for a few days while we attended a wedding. I was very apprehensive because he was so attached to me. Lauren took such incredible care of both the dogs. I noticed how Our pitbull took to Lauren Immediately and that brought tears to my eyes because he had so much anxiety being away from us. If I could give zero stars, I would. Although these people seem to have taken okay care of my dog when I boarded her for my wedding night, I can't believe how shady they are. When we first arranged for the service, they told me that the pick up time was 3 o'clock, but "not to worry about it" if I was a little late. Well, I began calling them at about 2:30 to say, "we're ready to come and get our dog". They didn't call me back until after 3, then when my husband arrived at their house at 3:45, they tried to charge me for a whole second day!!! That's right - another 50.00 for 45 minutes "late" even though it was their fault since they didn't answer their phone until after three. When I called to talk about it, the owner guy told me that the late fee was stated in my contract. I asked him to mail me a copy, since I had signed and given it to them. He never mailed it. I had read that contract and 99.9 sure there was nothing about a late fee. Since researching and using other boarding services, I know that most do have a late pick up fee, but they don't charge a whole second day - especially not for only 45 minutes, and especially not when the service is the one who didn't respond to repeated phone calls to pick up our dog. These people really got under my skin. Don't trust your poochie to Mighty Dog - there are better services out there that won't try to rip you off. read more

These guys are as legit as it gets. They are rare in the dog walking biz -- fully insured, up to date on their biz licenses, capable of handling all breeds. I never write reviews nor do I give YELP much credibility especially when I see reviews like the 1 star rating of Lauren. She is excellent with dogs and the dogs love her. We use her for dog walking few times a month and sometimes daily if we are real busy. She has also boarded our dog. If you are some type A nut job that thinks a dog walker can be there at 11:00 sharp it's not gonna work or if someone is shady it they have Pink Hair it is not a good match. If you want a real dog lover and a good walker call Lauren. She comes in an established time frame and gets the dogs. I work from home so it is no big deal; our neighbor gives Lauren the key and she takes the dog out and drops her off.: very smooth. We have another friend who started using Lauren for walking and boarding since she does not want her dog boarded in a prison type environment..
