Nice grocer at airport and sells lunch and snacks including cheeses (gruyere, yay!) and iberico ham and the likes. Also great to pick up last minute small Swiss items for presents, such as, hats, key chains, magnets, coffee mug with Swiss logo, etc. Staff here are very friendly and helpful. Store arrànged like a grocery store/dept. store. Great selections of chocolate bars in different flavors and any other goodies you normally find in a grocer. Checking out is easy self help or cashier if you prefer a person.

One of the best snacks ever!

While I am not the avid traveler, I have been to a few different airport. Never have I seen a grocery store in one. All I can say is, they need more! We were in Switzerland for a quick overnight layover. However, our flight didn't leave until 1pm, so we had a little bit of time. I originally wanted to walk around Bahnhofstrasse, but I woke up a little late. Because I just needed a few snacks to bring home for friends and family, I decided to just walk around the airport. To my amazement, I found Migros, which I found more than enough snacks to bring home! This is not a small Express store, where you can buy a few items. This is a full-blown grocery store with almost everything you will need. I kind of wonder why you would need a grocery store in the airport, but I'm not complaining. They had a full aisle of Frey chocolate and there were so many flavors to choose from. Right next to that, there were small aisles of other chocolates from not only Switzerland, but from other countries, as well. On the other side of the divider, there were many varieties of cookies and other sweets. I couldn't choose which ones I wanted to get. However, I was looking for Wernli cookies here, but they didn't carry it. The Co-Op did, but their selection was smaller.

Migros Flughafen. When we say it is in the airport ... it is in the middle of the terminal, just past Food Land, the food court.

First, the store - very nice, with a beautiful plant/ garden section as soon as you enter on the left. I spotted gorgeous Waratah's (which are Australian natives), lots of orchids and succulents and because we were visiting in Nov, also a lot of beautiful Christmas fir + poinsettia. They selection of chocolates, esp the Toblerone variety with honey and almond nougat, was a standout and we stocked up big on presents for folks back in the US. They also set us back only 1.45 chf, so total bargain. We also got some good organic muesli, better than the ones at Avia. We also got a half-chicken for takeaway dinner at 7.50chf (good, but omg. So. Salty) Now, the restaurant. It had a 5-6 food stations (and a free loo!) we skipped over the Italian, Chinese and carvery and went for the hot vegetarian choices. Got a large to go box (14.95 chf) and filled it with awesome zucchini, green beans, rustic potatoes and spatzli (so good!). We also got x1 chocolate torte for 3.65 chf (the cream tasted so fresh, I felt like the cow had been milked in the morning) and a raspberry patisserie that my mum loved. So our dinner combined was around 30chf, curtesy of Coop and it was a good'un :)

Yelp Review 2026 #107:…read more I enjoy going to Migros and Coop while in Switzerland. They have groceries, pharmacy items and ready-to-eat food. Most tourists come here to get food at the fraction of the cost from eating at restaurants. I was getting tired of eating Swiss food so, I went here since I know they have pretty much everything. Sandwiches, deli meats and cheeses, fresh fruits, fruit cups, fruit bowls, sushi, pastries (both sweet and savory), pizza, salads, octopus salad, shrimps, salmon tartare, Mediterranean food, Middle Eastern food, chicken breast, samosas. Pastas you can reheat. It's also a good place to get some Swiss snacks, drinks, protein bars and ice cream. I grabbed sushi, salad and chicken breast. You do have to pay for utensils. The bad: the cashier was rude and was rushing us at the self-checkout counter - nobody needs your help, nobody needs your attitude. Like if you're bored and there's nobody in line, go make yourself useful and do something else. The rice on the sushi was a lot and it was dry which made it worse. The fish was thinly sliced. I tossed half of the rice.
