They fixed 2, then I had problems after they "fixed/updated" them. Soon after, they insisted I fix more old work. I switched dentists instead. It's been 8 years with our new dentist, and my teeth are great. ADC also recommended work on my son that didn't need to be done. When they did the work on my teeth, my bite was off and I had jaw/neck problems for a few months. Even had to get on muscle relaxers. They tried to fix my bite twice, and the second fix worked. It was a pain. I've never had problems with another dentist like this.

They use some pretty advanced technology (in my experience) to provide x-rays, pictures and treatment plans all in a single interface that they use to explain what needs to be done. I also didn't feel pressured like some of the corporate dentists offices that dot the Pensacola area. Admittedly, Dr. Cole isn't proficient in dental insurance costs, but I'd say that's true for most professionals and why they have office staff. I came away with a true plan of action, appointments to make it happen and the prescriptions to help my painful situation in the meantime.

Communication appears to be lacking, and follow-through on patient concerns seems nonexistent. The only issue noted was a retained baby tooth with an adult tooth beginning to come in behind it. This is something I've experienced myself, as well as with my older children, and in those cases the baby tooth was simply removed so the adult tooth could come in properly. Instead of addressing what appeared to be a straightforward situation, we were referred to an orthodontist who does not accept our insurance--despite me explaining that multiple times. We returned six months later for a cleaning, and the same baby tooth was still present, now extremely loose. Even staff acknowledged it could likely come out easily. However, rather than performing a simple extraction, additional charges were introduced for things like a "special mask" and laughing gas, which did not seem necessary for the situation. This has felt like a pattern across visits, where there is more focus on added services than on simple, straightforward care. I fully understand that recommendations can vary, but as a parent, I value clear communication, transparency, and consideration of what is truly needed. These days everyone's trying to say it's safe with metal and x-rays, but I know I can't put a spoon in a microwave. Next I'm poor and was asking if my Medicaid could cover Invisalign because my teeth are very sensitive in a few little certain areas because of a misalignment other than that my teeth are good. I've only had four cavities back when I was 14 years old I'm 30 now , another lady comes in and starts trying to sell me veneers she wanted to shave my perfectly good teeth down and charge me hundreds to thousands per tooth.
