When it was time for passing, the cemetery was gracious and arranging, including a graveside spiritual ceremony at a fee. Visiting your plot, they have a kiosk in the chapel to look up the location of graves by name. The cemetery is well cared for and fine for contemplative visits any time even if you have no peeps there! That's my experience. No idea on new plots or internment requests. My experience was excellent.

He and the other staff at Strawser provided great comfort to family and friends of the departed during a difficult and stressful time, which we all very much appreciated. I recently had my sister's celebration of life Service with Thomas Justin Funeral home. They were…read moreextremely unprofessional. Not one person working even told me sorry for your loss. Infact they didn't even acknowledge me until they were ready for payment. There were no chairs put out no obituary cards no coffee absolutely nothing. Just my sister's ashes on a table. I played music on my phone so that it wouldn't completely silent. I asked for a tripod so that I could put my pictures up and a half hour later was given one single tripod and then a half hour before my service was over was told they needed it back for the next service, so they took it. I wouldn't let these people handle a funeral or service for someone I hated let alone someone I love! Complete disrespect to my sister's life! Also this was the Whetsel Ave location.

This cemetery matches up to those in terms of the quality of the groundskeeping and the ability to navigate around the cemetery. The grounds here are beautiful and it's clear that the groundskeeping staff works hard to keep this place in excellent condition as a sign of respect to those who are laid to rest here. Salmon Chase (Governor and Supreme Court), Rudolph Wurlitzer (founder of the Wurlitzer company), Bernard Henry Kroger (founder of the Kroger supermarket chain), both Procter and Gamble. Unfortunately, a friend passed away recently and his visitation was here. Very nice looking place. It felt more like somebody's home, except there was a room that held a small chapel. There were tissue boxes around which was very helpful. I know that my friend was pleased with the services they provided and at a time like that, it's all you can hope for.

However, after wards it took several phone calls with no call backs to get the death certificates and they delayed the payment of my father's life insurance to my mother by not responding to the insurance company's phone calls or emails. They also failed to respond to my 4 calls. We paid cash so they were not entitled to any insurance. All they had to do was respond! Frustration a grieving family doesn't need.
