She did reach out and ensured she understood every issue I was facing while apologizing for my experience. She was very genuine and made sure that throughout the rest of the process I was informed and knew what to expect, both from a communication and process standpoint. This is what customer service should look like. Had I experienced service like this from the start, I would have stayed with Inspira. But at least for now, I finally received my check and the fees were removed due to the mountain of problems I faced. I hope her management understands how great she is in turning around such an awful situation. I have raised the review to 3 stars solely based on Billie Jean's performance! I have spent weeks jumping through hoops trying to get an account an old employer gave to Inspira rolled over to John Hancock. It is a joke! I am CONVINCED this is a scam designed to hold your money as long as possible and charge you every fee possible while they stonewall you from your money. I have no idea why they ask you to confirm your phone number every time you talk to someone as when they INEVITABLY disconnect your call after being on hold for 15 minutes, they don't call back! I did however have one CSR who stayed on the call until I was finished filling out a required form after the online version failed multiple times. UPDATE: I did receive a phone call back the 3rd time I spoke to someone when I was disconnected - SHOCKED! They said I chose the incorrect account type on their form even though I could not deselect it while filling it out with their agent. Either way, we'll see if they actually transfer the money this time.

Do NOT hand over your hard-earned money to this company - you'll DEEPLY regret it…read more My father, who's a SENIOR CITIZEN, called to create an online account to review his recent account activity. He also needed to file a form with Inspira before he could file his taxes. Simple right? WRONG. You can only create an account if you have your CARD number. He doesn't have this info, so he called for assistance creating an online account. He provided his full name, address, the last 4 digits of his SSN, DOB, his employer's name, and the date and amount of the last contribution, but that wasn't good enough! They need a CARD number even though he provided PLENTY of other info to verify his identity. Mind you, it's HIS money, he doesn't have his card, and he needs to file his taxes by the tax deadline. The customer service rep said it would take 15 business days for a new card to arrive, denied him escalation to a supervisor, and asked "additional verification" questions that even the most HIPAA and FTI-compliant entities don't ask. What more do you need? Finger prints? A blood sample? The customer rep also told him he didn't need to see his account activity because he didn't need it to file his taxes. She clearly didn't know his individual tax situation, but she was very much wrong. Inspira Financial: You all should be ashamed of yourselves for scamming hardworking people of their hard-earned money, and creating phony, arbitrary, and burdensome verification processes that prevent people from accessing their own money and info. My father has filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. We'll also be filing a complaint with the Illinois Attorney General.

And after working for most of my lifetime- it came time to consolidate all of my financial advisers under one roof. Capstone came highly recommended and since they do several of my colleagues and are familiar with my company's incentive plans, etc, after a quick interview to see if we were going to get along, I contracted with them. Keith and Frank (sounds like a comedy team but sometimes I think it is me who provides the humor when I go there as they are always laughing at some outrageous thing I say when there . . . most be a lot of "old fuddy duddies" in the financial advising business) take the time to explain what they think I should do to invest my money as well as to protect my assets in the future to make sure those in my life are taken care of even if I am not here to do it. They are timely in their communication, follow stocks, make recommendations and just basically help me to make the right decisions regarding my finances. Their fees are based on what you need them to do and are varied. Plus they take the hassle of all of that away so deadlines are met, tax returns filed, quarterly updates provided, things are consolidated and they do it all with smiles on their faces no matter how many questions I ask, or how long it takes me to sign something basic (trust me . . .my living trust took forever as I just didn't want to think about who was going to pull the plug on me if I was sick. Let me go on the record here to all who are reading this that you can pull it . . . just not too soon!) I trust them with my future. A huge responsibility, I know. And one I don't partner into lightly. If you are looking for someone to help manage your finances, you owe it to yourself to talk to these guys. More substance than flash . . . but that's what I'm paying them for . . .and I'm a girl who likes to get her money's worth.

Roger took his time to sit down and explain everything to me in detail. The second year, however, was not the same. I sent in my paperwork for my taxes. I had to keep calling to see when it was ready. It took quite awhile. While I know it was a very busy time, keeping me informed would have been helpful. I was finally told they were ready to sign and pickup so I set up an appointment. When I went in, they said I just needed to sign and then pay them their money. I wanted to speak to Roger but they asked me what it was about and when I told them, they said that would be a financial matter and I would need another appointment and to pay for that. What!!! I'm in there about my taxes and have questions regarding it and future taxes but I can't see Roger about that without incurring additional fees? It was very upsetting to be treated like that as a client. I won't be going back there. He charged almost $200 to do a simple return when I could have went to AARP's tax sites and gotten it done for free. It wasn't that complicated. I wont be back again to RR Financial and I do not recommend them.

What…read morewith travel, relocation, reciprocal state agreements, court orders, and (now) insurance requirements that we must work around, we have a hellish time. We just moved to the area from Louisville Metro, and we called around to five or six different tax firms. We were lucky if they told us up front that they had no training to handle our situation, and that happened a lot. On one unfortunate incident, we had an appointment and after an hour and a half the young woman sitting on the other end of the desk claimed that we owed the federal government $11,000.00. We knew it was impossible and insisted that she correct it. We were given a response of "I'll have my manager call you back." Three weeks later and we've yet to receive an answer from them. Thank heavens my husband called VT! During the initial phone conversation, the accountant quoted verbatim the law regarding our special circumstances. They are booked far in advance (I can see why), but the wait is worth it. After a bit of conversation, it did not take long to realize that there was a wealth of talent in that office. They also provide financial planning, deal with Roths, and business plans.
