He took a lot of time being, I hadn't been seen by a chiropractor in a year due to life changing circumstances. The muscles in my back were like a rock. He took the time to discuss my history and my conditions. A tens unit was employed to relax my muscles. The therapy was taking 15 minutes. It does not need to be constantly monitored. An assistant was close by should there be any issues. Yes, he did see other patients during the 15 minutes while I was on this unit. Which is just common sense efficient use of time to tend to other patients. My upper back was causing numbness and loss of strength in my arms and hands. I'm happy to say the next morning My discomfort was markedly relieved.

I've been visiting Dr. Adham (Doc) for about 1.5 years now. Doc and the staff are extremely friendly and just plain fun to see and be around. Doc starts by putting heat on my back for about 5 minutes, then relaxes the back with a massage tool. He starts by adjusting my back face down, then my neck face down (my personal favorite). He then adjusts my mid/lower back on each side, and finally my neck again while lying on my back. I typically do neck "traction" which helps restore the curve in my neck. I wasn't a fan at first, but it's really helped my neck a lot. Some patients do back traction as well. Doc does do open adjustments. All 3 adjustment tables are in the same room. I must admit I thought it was a little weird for the first 2-3 adjustments (I'm a little more introverted), but have loved it since. I've gotten to know several other patients. Even if you don't think you'll like the open adjustments I encourage you to try it out for at least a few visits. Doc has always been very fair in his pricing as well.

Today...she sank to a new level of inhuman behavior by any one I've ever known. I've been a member of Mountain Medicine for over 5 years. One of the first members to join your program. I've ate some below average sessions and haven't complained or raised a fuss. I've bought extra sessions when someone canceled to make up for therapists loss in compensation and tipped handsomely. Our eldest daughter is battling cancer and has a 3 and 5 year old. She is under going chemotherapy and continuing to work through her final year of residency at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester. Residency is a surmountable challenge of itself let alone undertaking chemo treatments every week. My Wife and I have been taking turns flying back and forth and the appointment for Saturday eluded me. I advised my wife Susan to take my place so Hannah wouldn't miss an appointment and my wife could get a wonderful massage that would be sorely appreciated. Any other human being would have understood the circumstances. As I've said, I've understood the business challenges owners face and have let things go multiple times. Not Amber! There's no excuse in my mind for her behavior. In life and business there's rules that all warrant circumstances. She will tell you it's black and white. Her attitude is black. I've got a ton of medical issues & nearly all of them are painful - just lucky like that - but getting regular massages or chiropractic adjustments really help with a myriad of things for me. I've been extremely impressed that after just 15 minutes of chiropractic care I feel at least as good as after an hour or hour and a half of massage, on average. So that's kind of crazy, but in the most positive way. I'm a huge fan of efficiency & getting 1-1.5 hr(s) of muscular/migraine/etc relief (for me personally, since everyone's body is different) in ~15 minutes just feels like a win. Yesterday I felt that odd, cathartic happy-slow brained response I get after a really fantastic massage session too which is a great sign, albeit not great for making conversation after. Don't get me wrong, massage & chiropractic care are so vastly different fields but it's been the best comparison I can think of to describe it's effectiveness to others. Everyone I've ever encountered at this office is super nice & that makes such a great difference in the overall experience as well. Very much appreciated. I recommend anyone give this business a try! Tip: suggest coming in a bit early for each appointment as they have a check-in process to describe current pain points & types for the most accurate care possible. I tend to arrive to things either way too early or on time (therefore late in some people's books) so it's best when I'm able to focus on getting there early rather than on-the-dot lol, so wanted to share the friendly tip.

I was very relieved when I was greeted by a very friendly receptionist(thought I must of been lucky and caught her on a good day). nope...she is fairly new and is Always Very friendly and helpful. Was seen by Dr Schlagle and was very impressed ...I was having pain in my tail bone and down my leg. It was much better after the very first adjustment. His adjustments aren't your typical snap crackle pop adjustments. He uses a technique where he is more working on muscle relaxing and stretching... but man....does it work!! Got my mom with osteoporosis in immediately and he Helped her a lot as well and I was so relieved how gentle his adjustments were on her. Then my husband went...hip pain was relieved. His bedside manner is awesome.. he always listens, and explains what is going on with your body and what he is doing during the treatment. I've met with several of the Core Balance physical therapists after going to another clinic for…read moreseveral months. They are so great here! I've made more progress here in about a month than I made in over four months at the other PT place. They work effectively as a team within the office and review notes on progress, overall plan, progression, etc and talk with the other therapists to ensure the treatment is effective for you as an individual (if you're going frequently enough to have to see more than one of course - I have to go twice per week at least now per my doc's referral). Every time I go I'm asked how things are going with my at-home training progress on my own, how I'm feeling that day, etc. which makes a big difference on the strategy for that day's exercises. Instead of just following a list of recommended proceedures and protocols for similar symptoms in others they customize exercise plans for you as an individual. That shouldn't be ground breaking but they do it so well here that it makes it feel like the other places just wanted to check attempts off a list regardless of if things helped or hurt. Their approach is so much more advanced and uniquely tailored compared to other places from what I've both witnessed and experienced personally. I really appreciate the extra care everyone here provides. A big difference with Core Balance is that it truly feels like they're here to really help, and not just push me through a standard set of actions. I suggest this place for anyone needing physical therapy and/or massage. Because I had to get scheduled in quickly I've gotten to work with several therapists, rather than waiting for one of their schedules to work twice weekly for me. Therefore I can already say that Colleen, Cora, Jay and Patty are all really helpful and dedicated to making a positive difference (apologies if I spelled any names wrong). Horrible! If you have MOLD... Run. All about money, not about care. Dr. Mele doesn't know how to…read moretreat people nor children, especially for mold. Dr. Mele has been terrible! I've found Dr. Mele is money seeking, doesn't tend to her patients needs/ concerns, within timing in which is important. The meds she put me and my 2 kids on were not fitting to the diagnosis of mold. In turn her protocol of meds caused huge reactions w/ with my son in which it took Dr. Mele 3 days to respond while she was out of town. There is no On Call Doctor, and Dr. Mele is prescribing meds that regular doctors or ER wouldn't understand. This company should be available for emergencies when they are prescribing especially to little kids. My son was close to a fever, throwing up, nauseas, crying in pain, diarrhea, extreme stomach pain,  pale, with painful hot itching red skin patches all over his body, and myself severe stomach and liver pain for weeks, and my daughter severe diarrhea. Her reaction was to get off the meds, nothing else for help, and we'll revisit over a month later. SO that's a family that's ill, and tested positive MOLD (kids high levels of mold) to wait for treatment all that time. Also she also prescribed us meds UNDAS, drops, nasal sprays, AND NAC before our mold tests came back positive! This is the stuff that made us ill. All Money! Some of the concoctions she handmade and I had to call in and ask Jane what is in these prescriptions and what do they do? I couldn't read the label and neither could Jane the receptionist. Dr. Mele didn't address all my health concerns that were important, and when I asked about my other medical concern (she even asked for my scan for the initial visit), it's was you need to make another apt, and said to me I asked you if you had any more concerns, but in truth she did not say this, she said we're ( her and her trainee) going to step outside to review a plan, came back and said she needed a few days to figure out a plan for the mother and cut our apt short. After we drove 2 hours to get there! After mentioning me having to pay again, I said I shouldn't have to, and Jane said if I wanted I could bring it up in the January apt. Our Labs &  Mold Test results Dr. Mele has been unwilling to review without an appointment a over a month later. Tested in November, scheduled for January. She said she felt our tests weren't emergent, even though we are ill. She won't talk to us like she originally said upon first meeting, I only talk to Jane the receptionist. My kids doctor who used to treat adults for mold, my doctor, and 2 different functional Doctors for kids and adults have told us our tests needed to be tended to right away (!) and that her protocol, especially NAC, should have never (!) been used starting out. My Doctor and the Functional Kids doctor felt additional labs needed to be done right away, and the tests were cause for concern. Dr. Mele should not be treating people, especially kids, for mold. We spent a lot of money for visit, tests, and meds for no help, no care, no concern. $1700 first visit. And Dr. Mele threw in my face she thinks money is a issue, I never mentioned that, but I did for the more and more apts she/Jane wanted to schedule, but money...of course it is important, I have a family and this is all cash....no insurance to get my family well. Everytime I called to ask something it was money money money, schedule for every little thing...there's no Doctor communication only with her receptionist. Dr. Mele might know other things to treat...but NOT MOLD! If you think you have mold exposure...don't go here. See a functional REAL doctor that specializes in MOLD.
