It took longer because at first I didn't do the exercises they gave me to do at home, but once i got the picture and stuck with it I can finally sleep at night without hip pain. I have now "graduated" to the attached gym and weight room. It was through the guidance of Debbie, physical therapist, that I was introduced to low impact machines/weights that will help me strengthen my knees. I found the gym associates to be very friendly and right there to help you on any machine. My husband and I are fortunate to be able to use the facility free of charge because of our insurance benefit called Silver Sneakers. We are really going to enjoy using this facility-clean, friendly, and filled with machines that fit the bill!

My case manager also helped out tremendously with helping supply me with equipment to use when I was discharged and resources to help with if I need more assistance.
