After posting a bad review about vip Tallent Connect or reach management, I received a detailed apologetic e-mail from them. Previously in my Last review i went on about how i believed all they wanted was my money and how I believed the company to be a scam. However I have to give them more then just credit but thanks, for being so on top of things. Unfortunately however my opinion has only slightly changed and I feel as though I need to vent. In their email to me they told me that they would offer me a full scholarship to the event and about how sorry they were about making me feel desperate enough to give up. (Wich really made me feel awful about the bad review) when I replied to the email I asked if I come alone or if it was something my fiance was allowed to come with me to. However their response was no.they said because it was an audition he would make me feel uncomfortable. I would just like to point out that out of anyone in this universe he is the person whom I'M MOST COMFORTABLE around. The company then asked where I would be staying (what hotel would I be staying at) because I live in NH I figured I would just take a bus in that morning. But they insisted that I stayed in a hotel to insure I was going to be there. In the same email where they asked what hotel I was staying at, They also asked "who are you bringing with you" and that's where the sketch factor began agian. I JUST asked if my fiance could go. But they said no. But now they are asking who I was bringing. I found that weird. I also find it weird that they needed to know what hotel I was going to be staying at. (Do you need to know my room number too? ) I don't know alot about the industry so even if this is a real talent agency if this is a real actuall successful business then I don't think I want to be part it. It's strange. Under no circumstances do i think it is Appropriate to tell some one they can't bring there fiance but they can bring anyone else. Nor do I find it comforting that I need to stay in a hotel and they need to know Wich one. So to the representatives reading this I wish the company the best of luck. I hope you find all your stars. The parent company, they say, is "Truth Management"... but PENGUIN PRODUCTIONS is on my bank statement. I've been pursuing the return of my $1997 to no avail therefore, it's time to involve an attorney. If you're THINKING about paying this company-- think again. They won't even send me the paperwork which is attached to my signature. You pay and they disappear, I assure you. IT'S A SHAME HOW MANY PEOPLE THEY ARE SCAMMING and my next number of complaints will be from my attorney to ALL regulatory boards. And if I have to I'll see Fomkin & Kayback (owners) in court. Not only was I terminated for invalid reasons, my reporting of problems and lies told by the co-worker that's so difficult, I wasn't even given a chance to speak on the allegation that I acted unprofessionally. The claim was made after I facilitated a presentation on a topic approved by my on-site manager, Holly Goulding, which she told me I did a good job with afterward. Rather than ask what happened, Shelby was very accusatory and incredibly rude, demonstrating no concern for the truth or behaving in an ethical manner. Furthermore, the company lied to unemployment, but of course, could not support their claims, so I have been granted access to the resource.

But I can say as a person looking for employment that the leadership at Kelly have taken all of the humanity out of the onboarding processs. And this is ironic because they wouldn't be in business without educators. Things like sourcing out IT overseas and having group onboarding calls with people who are NOT your recruiter when you are interested in getting started. You need to contact IT if you have any issues with your onboarding. It's done auomtatically through a portal where even your signature is pre-loaded. They want you to sign off on docs even if they aren't correct because I'm told that they can't email blank docs for you to edit and upoload them to a portal. And none of the fields in things like tax docs are editable. Even if you want to make a complaint you have to call a number and leave a voice message because they don't have humans to answer that line. I ended up deciding not to work with Kelly. Honestly, working with kids and schools means you need support. And if the onboarding process is this terrible and hands-off, I don't want to know what it's like if you find yourself as a sub somewhere and need to be assisted. No thanks. Kelly leadership: teachers deserve better. Even subs. Please show us that you value us by putting ease and personableness into the hiring process.

My only complaint is that I wish experience and education played a bigger role in pay. Of course, I do not expect as much as my previous teacher wages, but I think I should be paid more than someone with less education and experience.
