I had the zoom meeting with her, along with several others. She did her pitch, played the "Scam, No…read moreScam" game, all of which led up to her asking for $2,997 for the Miami Event. During this time, someone mentioned the company "Nine9," which claims to be "an unagency." I wrote in the chat box, warning everyone that Nine9 are scammers, due to my own personal experience with them where they deceptively tried to get me to spend over $1,000 on a portfolio. But before I could elaborate, Alycia panicked and told me not to say that and then demanded that I delete the comment before doing it herself. I thought that was rather odd. Why would she have a problem with me trying to warn everyone about them? I found out later on, where after finding out that I would be asked to spend almost $3,000, "if I was accepted." Yeah, I know this game! I'm sure for about 90% of those who attend the zoom meetings, they get the old "congratulations, you've been accepted! Now hand over your money!" I told her that if it was just me, I would certainly consider going for it, but with the amount of money being spent, I would need to discuss it with my wife, as I would expect her to do with me. Anyone who is married would tell you that no one should spend a large amount of money on something without talking about it with each other first. After I told her that, she practically threw a tantrum and proceeded to try to emasculate me and belittle me. Even after I told her that I actually have an agent and have worked on a few independent films, she belittled my experience and then told me that I should find another hobby. It became obvious that she cared more about getting money out of me than anything else. I would have thought that being in a relationship with someone herself (she mentioned having a fiancée and a son with him--I'm guessing it was with him, anyway), she would understand the idea of discussing with one's significant other before spending a large amount of money on something like this. But no! She proceeded to degrade me and even made a derogatory reference to my anatomy. Very unprofessional of her--not to mention the fact that it's a form of sexual harassment, which I thought was supposed to be eradicated from the industry by the "Me Too" movement. I wonder how she'd like it if someone mentioned her IMAX-sized posterior. The only thing that might be bigger than that is her massive ego (very debatable, though) for her to think that she gets to determine my future or my destiny. Anyway, she turned out to be a vile, disgusting woman, and is clearly a scam artist. If you get any invitation from VIP Ignite, ignore it, and avoid it! Remember, she doesn't get to determine your future or your destiny! And by the way, my wife is 100% supportive of my acting endeavors. And after her "coworker" Deneen texted me to ask me what part of the zoom meeting hit me the hardest, I texted back in no uncertain terms about Alycia's disgusting and unprofessional behavior. Then Alycia texted me back and instead of apologizing, doubled down on her disgusting behavior. I took screenshots and posted them below so you can see how vile she is. (I sent her a strong reply before blocking her number.) And I found that I'm not the only one she's disrespected. When she realizes that she's not going to get any money out of you, she will degrade and demean you. She's like the guy who belittles his date after finding out that she's not going to put out for him after the date. If this is how she treats people online, I can only imagine how abusive she is towards her fiancée and son.

When I tried to log back in, got a pop up that said "removed from host". I kept trying to log back in and then decided to do a deeper dive in researching the host/agent and came across this long list of complaints. Wow

Sorry to all the ladies and people at Kelly that had to deal with his crusty a**. But I can say as a person looking for employment that the leadership at Kelly have taken all of the humanity out of the onboarding processs. And this is ironic because they wouldn't be in business without educators. Things like sourcing out IT overseas and having group onboarding calls with people who are NOT your recruiter when you are interested in getting started. You need to contact IT if you have any issues with your onboarding. It's done auomtatically through a portal where even your signature is pre-loaded. They want you to sign off on docs even if they aren't correct because I'm told that they can't email blank docs for you to edit and upoload them to a portal. And none of the fields in things like tax docs are editable. Even if you want to make a complaint you have to call a number and leave a voice message because they don't have humans to answer that line. I ended up deciding not to work with Kelly. Honestly, working with kids and schools means you need support. And if the onboarding process is this terrible and hands-off, I don't want to know what it's like if you find yourself as a sub somewhere and need to be assisted. No thanks. Kelly leadership: teachers deserve better. Even subs. Please show us that you value us by putting ease and personableness into the hiring process.

My only complaint is that I wish experience and education played a bigger role in pay. Of course, I do not expect as much as my previous teacher wages, but I think I should be paid more than someone with less education and experience. Besides that, I have 0 complaints and I am enjoying my employment under this agency.
