Not theater class, theater CLUB. I had to audition for these classes which makes no sense because this class was not exclusive and the classes were mixed level. Advanced level students were mixed with beginner level students which was an extremely poor decision because the advanced students were constantly being held back. Most of the students treated this class as a high school elective that they took to get an easy A. Students were constantly calling out, having side conversations unrelated to class, not following directions, and asking the same questions that had already been answered 2 minutes ago. None of the teachers did a single thing to stop or discourage the disruptive behavior. The phrase "it's not what you know it's who you know" was said multiple times by the teachers yet how to network and meet people that will hire me was rarely spoken about. Overall this class was a massive waste of time and money. Literally the only thing worth while from The Studio Group was the showcase at the end, yet even that was poorly prepped for. There should have been time for students to work on their chosen showcase audition monologue with the teachers 1 on 1, so students would have the best chance at nailing the audition. Instead students had to learn their monologue completely on their own without guidance from The Studio Group.

Leaving customers waiting over 2 hours with an empty office and no other customers to attend to. Simply to then advise that the information I was waiting for cannot be released to me . I find it extremely unprofessional that this statement was not provided upon my immediate arrival, rather 2 hours later. When i inquired with the front desk staff about why this information wasn't provided upon my arrival they reply was " I don't have nothing to do with it" I find this entire ordeal unprofessional and ridiculous. I will tell everyone I know about this situation and be sure to never refer anyone to the organization
