They change your policy details without your knowledge or approval. They charge you for a renewal you did NOT approve and use your payment information on file quietly and after the money is taken from your account you come to know what they have done. When you request to talk to the owner she is very rude on the phone and has NO customer service skills. She will LIE to you on your face that you had approved the renewal. Only when threatened with legal action does she work to cancel the policy and give the refund. I am SHOCKED that Farmers has these kind of agents selling their policies. I came to them reading their reviews and now I realized they have somehow managed to get a high rating on google with potentially false reviews they have created with someone's help! They just kept calling me and offering to "make recommendations." Then after the policy renewed, they sent me a bill and then finally cancelled after I called the main Farmers number and complained.

I was completely clear about which policy I wanted since I had two policies with the agency. Instead, Sami made unauthorized changes to my policies that I never requested. Because of this, I decided to cancel both policies. I asked Sami at least three different times by email to cancel both of them, but he ignored every single request. I was only able to cancel one policy myself. The other required the agent to process the cancellation, and despite my repeated requests, Sami refused to do it. At that point, I had no choice but to disable my automatic payments because it seemed like Sami was willing to keep charging me for a policy I had repeatedly asked him to cancel. Eventually, the last payment was declined because I had turned off autopay. Now, I have received a collection notice from the insurance company for a balance that exists solely because of the terrible service and negligence I experienced from KIS Insurance--and especially from Sami. I would never recommend this agency. If you work with them, keep copies of every email and carefully monitor your policies.

I decided to give her a chance since I hadn't shopped around for insurance in probably 20 years. I used to have State Farm and had used my mom's agent all these years. It wasn't ever the best customer service but it was convenient.
