If they had to get back to me with the information, they did so and did so that day. I tried to complete the feedback form that was included at the end of their response; however, when I clicked it on I kept getting where I had provided feedback on another employee many years ago. Shane took the time to answer all my questions thoroughly and kindly for over 30 minutes. As someone who's usually cautious with large businesses and insurance companies, I was pleasantly surprised by how comfortable and confident I felt working with them. On top of that, the three times I called during business hours, a real person actually answered! No waiting or endless phone menus! They claim to be insurance professionals that make insurance simple, but seem more concerned with their commission. VP Nicole Harris offered coverage that had less protection and 2.5x higher deductible while explicitly calling it "the same great coverage". On top of that, she was quoting to make the new policy effective two days before the current coverage ended, going as far as to follow up warning of a lapse including both existing and quoted policy documents without noticing her own mistake. When presented with the discrepancies, Nicole was not willing to accept ownership. Licensed agents are held to a certain standard by the state of Virginia. Do yourself a favor and search for an agency that takes the extra time to know and understand your insurance needs. Most insurance carriers have agency search tools right on their main website.

The insurance companies they use will send cancellation notices to DMV even when they draft your account electronically (so it's never late). They told DMV my policy was cancelled (it never was) and caused my license to be suspended. Having with them as an agent for YEARS meant absolutely nothing. I was told basically "tough luck." Do better. If you say you did something you should have documentation of such. Being dismissive of clients and their plight surely won't get you any customers. I'll also make sure the clients I referr md to you know how you treat a paying established loyal customer. 2 weeks later: after cancelling my insurance policies with this company I'm still being auto-drafted. I stood in their office signing paper after paper. I specifically asked of this was all I needed to do to cancel my policies with them. I still have the stack of documents. But I'm still being charged. I don't write negative reviews very often, if ever. They really suck. Take your money elsewhere.

During the 30 years, our home was insured by the Bradshaw Agency and then the Andrew Agency. Ryan responded by email 99% of the time. The mortgage company eliminated our escrow account in spring 2021. Called Ryan and requested that the upcoming October bill be addressed to our home. The result was several email exchanges over this simple request. The attempt to be proactive was not well received. Similar issues occurred in the fall. Our rates went up 20% in a single year without any clarifying conversation or communication. We had one minor claim more than 25 years ago. An email exchange informed us the cost of construction, specifically materials and labor was the culprit. When we chose to terminate the coverage with the Andrew Agency, there was no call to say what to expect or how the termination process works. Gmail sorts messages in sometimes weird ways. The first message went to a spam folder. Ryan's primary method of communication was by email. Our preference is to communicate by phone. Ryan's last email message was very rude. After 30 years under the same umbrella, we expected better. Our business was not valued by Ryan; perhaps because he acquired our business.
