We've done special sessions with ducklings + lemonade stands, as well as standard family sessions, both around Gainesville (she made great suggestions of spots suitable for pictures) + in St. Augustine as well (Shante has met us at the beach a couple of times). She does really well with kids who are shy and/or have the wiggles (we have 1 of each). Unfortunately, we lost most of our photos in Hurricane Harvey. Shante was very helpful in going back through old photos with me (some from 6 years ago) and helping me replace what was lost. Like I have never seen before. I looked at the photos and prices in her office and thought..."Well that was a big waste of time." I don't see how this person makes money outside of friends and family because we get portraits every year and this was the worst we've ever experienced. Money down the drain since we have to have the retaken. Considering it a lesson learned. We wanted to support a local photographer rather than go back to the one we used last year at JCP portrait studio but...not if this is what we are going to get. Just don't do it!!!!
