When I decided to get an attorney, the one thing I knew was that I didn't want to be just another client at a mega injury firm you see on television. It was my belief that a smaller firm with a dedicated staff would be the David I needed to go up against Goliath. Meeting with Doug Landau and his team and asking them to represent me was one of the best decisions I've ever made. Doug knows the intricacies of WC and injury law, he knew how difficult the numerous procedures and surgeries were for me, both physically and mentally, and often, he knew exactly when to simply listen. Doug has a rare gift to read people, situations, and adversaries. His professionalism, humanity, and focus carries over to his amazing team of legal professionals. I was a human being to them and no question I asked was too small or too dumb. During what is often the worst time in someone's life, Doug Landau and his colleagues are the people you want in your corner. I can promise you one thing...you'll never regret having Abrams Landau fighting to help make your life as whole as possible; they make your struggle theirs. I will always have the utmost respect for Doug and each and every person in his office.

They know the steps to take and give you the paperwork to provide to your doctors to have everything documented properly. When it came time for my hearing, Mr. Landau was truly outstanding! Needless to say he won my case. I will be forever grateful to him and his staff who were always so welcoming and very efficient in getting paperwork submitted. I would give this law office 10 stars.

Based on my personal experience, I would strongly caution anyone considering this firm. I would not…read morerecommend working with Jill or Mark. I questioned their integrity, and they seemed to lack a moral compass. They appeared to care more about the money they were making than about the actual client. They also have billboards placed by nearly every major highway and intersection with high accident rates, which says a lot. In my opinion, that is the kind of marketing you often see from what's known in the business as ambulance chasers. COMMUNICATION From start to finish, I did not feel supported or properly informed. I initially worked with Jill, but due to poor communication and unprofessional conduct, I eventually had to move my case to Mark. In one conversation, Jill ended the call while I was still asking basic questions about where my money was going, which felt extremely disrespectful in a personal injury case where clear communication should be a priority. Most of my communication went through an assistant named Leslie, and at times it felt like I was doing much of the work myself--gathering evidence, tracking down paperwork, and helping build my own case--only to be charged for it. That was not the level of service I expected from a law firm. BILLING AND MEDICAL EXPENSES My biggest concern was how the settlement was handled and how much of it went toward medical expenses. I was charged about $1,500 for an MRI and roughly $650 to $680 for each 60-minute therapy session. In my opinion, those charges were excessive and did not reflect the care I actually received. The physical therapy I was sent to did not feel like real treatment. Much of it involved lying on a massage table and doing self-guided exercises. I was billed $300 for simple exercises like spinning a wheel and another $400 to $500 just for lying on a massage table. There was no hands-on therapy, and I was also billed for generic products as if they were brand-name items. It felt misleading, and it seemed to me that the providers they sent me to were familiar with this firm. When I questioned the charges, I was told the providers might not come to court if I challenged them. At one point, I was also told that if I kept asking where the money was going, no one might show up for me if the case went to court. I was accused of alienating them when all I wanted was to know why they were price gouging. That made me feel pressured into accepting billing practices I did not agree with, and I was forced to settle when I didn't want to. My own insurance would have covered an MRI for far less, and the lien paid to my insurance company was significantly lower than the amount billed by another provider they sent me to, which from my perspective appeared to have a business relationship with the firm. At one point, the medical charges were run up to nearly $10,000, and in reality there is no way the treatment I received should have cost anywhere near that amount. When I asked the firm to renegotiate some of the expenses, they declined. Even the first time those bills were reduced, I had to ask for it--it was not done willingly. I had to advocate throughout the entire process just to get basic questions answered and to push for any reduction at all. That made me question whether they were truly looking out for my best interests. I also had to speak directly with the adjuster myself about replacing my car, car seat, broken cell phone, and other losses because I did not feel the firm was advocating for me on those issues. SETTLEMENT PROCESS It took a full year to settle my case because I was constantly fighting for a fair outcome. The initial offer was nowhere near reasonable, and I had to advocate for myself to get it increased by $9,000. Even after that, I still did not believe the settlement was fair. I do not feel I should have had to push so hard when I was paying a 33% attorney fee for someone to advocate on my behalf. By the time everything was deducted, I ended up with only about half of the full settlement, and I do not believe the firm fought hard enough for me. OVERALL EXPERIENCE Overall, I did not feel supported or properly represented throughout this process. It felt like I had to advocate for myself every step of the way, and I honestly do not know what I paid the attorneys for. I do not feel they did a good job for me, and I wish I had gone somewhere else. It felt like the firm was more focused on collecting their 33% than on truly caring about my pain and suffering or fighting for a fair result. I was left feeling taken advantage of in multiple ways. They benefitted from my misfortune. I would strongly encourage anyone considering this firm to ask detailed questions upfront and read the negative reviews carefully before signing anything. Don't make the same mistake I made. Update: I have never spoken to Hunter, who replied to this review. Must just want to appear that way online.

Ms. Clark was wonderful with provided information and listening to my concerns. This senior paralegal knows her stuff and makes sure she retrieves all proper information to build your case. A BIG thank you for always taking the time to assist with all my questions and concerns. (Even during my frustrating moments) Jennifer was able to negotiated my medical care/bills, she kept track of all my medical care and bill statement. Provided wonderful referrals inwhich I received great care. My direct attorney who handles my case was Ronald Katz. When I was unable to get in contact with Ms. Clark, Ron made sure I knew he was available any time via phone or email. One of them was always available to answer questions or concerns. Ron provided a quick response and was persistent to reach insurance companies. We had some issues receiving response from the insurance company and Ron made sure to keep me updated every attempt he made. Ron looked out for my case and made sure I was receiving the best offer. Ron was clear every step of the way making sure I understood the next step if I was unhappy with my offer. Ron's knowledge and professional experience help my case receive the max offer without going to trail. They were prompt with paperwork submission to complete the case. Ron's professionalism and customer service is spectacular. I received my payment express delivery. Ron took the time to hand deliver my settlement check to my home. As we all know how some mail can be delayed during the holidays. My case closed perfectly during the end of the year holidays of 2023. Extremely grateful for their services and highly recommend them. They have joined the Lopez family as their attorney. I will seek their service in the future if I require them. Thank you again!
