We had an amazing day on the bike tour with Scott. We saw all the spots in Munich that we wanted to see and had so much fun doing it! Scott was really knowledgeable and personable, so it was overall a great experience. The meeting spot was really easy to find. Then along the ride, he made sure we all stayed together and stayed safe the entire time. Riding the bike through the English Gardens was definitely a highlight. Definitely go on this tour if you have time in Munich!

David was our tour guide. He was very knowledgeable and charismatic and fun. Our bike tour with him was the absolute highlight of our stay in Munich, a beautiful city. Don't go to Munich without doing this bike tour.

Thank you Scott! A great tour for first time visitors. Easy relaxing bike ride with several stops, interesting summaries of the historical sites around, beautiful paths through the English Garden, and good suggestions for future visits to museums. Perfect start to our vacation. Thank yo

Great way to see a lot of cool spots in a short period of time. Easy breezy cruising while learning all about Munich. Host is super friendly and welcoming. Met some other nice people on the tour too! My son and I have been doing a lot of traveling on our own and it was a great way to break up the monotony. Highly recommend.

We had a blast! It was easy to locate and you felt safe the whole time. We got to learn a lot about the history and eat an amazing lunch. I would do it again because it was so fun.

Usually one of the highest compliments I can pay a city is that it is walkable. And Munich falls into that category, but the day I felt like I really got to know the city was when I rented a bike. Mike's offers guided bike tours, but I was more interested in exploring the city on my own. The bikes are these ridiculously cute Cruiser-style pedal pushers. They give you a city map, a bike lock and you are off. There are a number of cities that due to their geography (hills), air quality or traffic aren't ones where I'd readily rent a bike. In Munich, it was an ideal situation. Not only is the majority of the city flat, but one of the major tourist attractions, the English Garden, is crisscrossed with trails and even the city streets have bike lanes. And the bike lanes are actually part of the sidewalk, not the road, so I felt very safe. This was the highlight of my trip to Munich. Highly recommended for families, couples and solo travelers.

New friends thanks to Mike's Bikes. That's Timmy on the right.

If you're afraid to break the mold; if you're afraid to yell out random things in public; if you're afraid to be called "the ass man", DON'T GO ON THIS TOUR!!! But if you want to be a little adventurous and do something just a little outside of your cookie cuter mold of what's normal, DO go on this tour! What fun! Our tour with Timmy (Timmah) M. and Mike's Bikes was the highlight of our all too short stay in Munich! It was ridiculously fun from the very start. Immediately you're doing a little dance move on the sidewalk just a few hundred yards from the Glockenspiel, and it only gets better from there! Our tour (late September, just before Oktoberfest), which I think was scheduled to last 3-4 hours, was more like 4-5 hours. We hit the highlights of Munich. I can't remember all of the sites, but they included the Isar surfers, the white church, the English Garden, and the Chinese Tower Bier Garten. FYI, if you ask the cashier at the Chinese Bier Garten about "buying" a souvenir glass, they may just tell you to take it for free! I got a.5L Hofbrau Haus mug for nuthin'! The ride itself is not strenuous but you need to posses the ability to leisurely ride a bike for a few miles. It's warm in the summer so you will sweat. You may also see naked men and women in the English Garden as well as one other stop on a bridge (the name escapes me) so leave your silly American modesty behind! Just let loose and enjoy your Deutschland adventure!!!

Great bike tour of Munich. This is an awesome way to explore the city. Then again, I'm biased. After all, I was the Ass Man!

The views are amazing! Lana had lots of great information on the way up and was quiet on the way back because a lot of people were sleeping on the way home. We got to drive on the autobahn and I saw lots of Porsches going at least 100 MPH. The castle was awesome, it is about a 30 minute tour and at the pickup spot you can grab a nice red brat. The have beer too. Definitely an awesome trip you should take and try to get Lana as your tour guide!

The meeting point was easy to find and transportation was prompt and comfortable for the full ~9-hour round trip. Lana was our guide and easily one of the best I've ever had--witty, funny, and packed with idiosyncratic Bavarian facts. She kept us engaged and entertained the entire time, even including some adult only material. On the bus, keep your eyes peeled for cows, alpacas, deer, and CATS roaming the countryside. The castle and Bavarian scenery are breathtaking on their own, but Lana's local-born energy and storytelling made the entire day unforgettable. Professional, punctual, and genuinely entertaining--highly recommend requesting Lana for this tour.
