She called several companies, leaving voicemails with a brief description of the problem. None returned her call. Days later, an invoice arrived. Apparently, Texas Lawn Pros, one of the companies she called, showed up and spent 3.5 hours plus parts, then billed us. I asked our manager to go to the house and observe the zones as I remotely turned them on. The formerly broken zone now works, but some heads don't pop up or are mis-aligned. I figured if I'm going to pay top dollar then it might as well work perfectly. I therefore asked her to call and see if someone could fix it to our satisfaction. She finally got hold of the owner who refused to come out to correct the problem until the bill for the unsolicited service was paid. To make this headache go away, I've simply cut them a check and will fix/replace the heads when I get down there. The work they do might be okay, but their business practices need some help. Needless to say, we will NOT contact them again for service.

The heads were left either covered in dirt and grass, leaking, broken or unfinished. I would then call and they would return charge me another $400 leaving their work again unfinished. Our total bill exceeded their estimate by $2,000. and it still took me six hours to dig out and uncover the sprinkler heads. Again, do yourself a favor and DO NOT HIRE ABC IRRIGATION. They do not care about the quality of their work or the people they supposedly serve.

While he started strong, the quality of work became unacceptable as he grew and diversified his business. We only have mulched flower beds and trees -- no lawn -- so our maintenance was minimal. Yet, I was consistently disappointed at the upkeep considering we were paying for bimonthly maintenance. Tall weeds growing through pavers, repeatedly dead native plants (like lantana), overgrown bushes, exposed sprinkler lines, cut sprinkler lines sticking out of the ground and not repaired, and a sprinkler system completely turned off just to offer some examples. After two years of having to completely replace our plants (and not due to the freezes) and repeated attempts to work with Chris to get our maintenance on track, I finally gave up. A section of our wooden fence in our backyard blew down in March. We used a local fence and…read moreirrigation company to replace the damaged part and gate. When the fence company's owner came out to have us look over the finished work before we made the final payment, they were already repairing the gate. The screws around the gate had pulled out of the lumber! NOT a good sign. The gate closed properly for at least a couple of weeks. Then I noticed you had to manually pull a gap wider to operate it. It had shifted or something. That was in May. I emailed them photos and a video. No response. My wife phoned 7/30 after I told her I cannot easily fix it and our son-in-law looked at it, too. I didn't want more time to pass since there was no easy fix. We paid for a working gate. The owner said to call the next day to get lined up for whether they would come Thursday or Friday. When she called the next day, no one answered the phone (my wife called more than once). You could hear noises, but they would not pick up or talk. So, we do NOT recommend them unless they fix our gate where it can work. I took the hardware off because it slams into the wood because it is not aligned right/shifted. It now literally overlaps. It will stay shut at the top wood-to-wood if you pull a gap open, but you still have to move the post manually to even do that. *Update-May need to bolt the post next to the brick to the brick wall. I cannot do that myself. It will not stay straight. Had to take off the picket attached and the support wooden pieces added behind it to nail into were not nailed/screwed into anything! Damaged the picket removing it and I was careful. Highly do NOT recommend using this business! Gate was coming loose the next DAY and did not make good after saying they would. AVOID!!!

The address on their website (1904 Stolz St, Suite A, Victoria, TX) is not a deliverable address. After continual voice mails and texts I have given up. They're worthless and have zero integrity. Once they have your money they could care less about your satisfaction. The last time their technician (Ha!) was here, he couldn't even locate the sprinkler heads he installed. The supply line they rerouted and supposedly repaired continually breaks. Twice was because the PVC joint they glued failed. The technician told me I had to find the sprinkler heads and locate the leak. He then left promptly at 5 o'clock. I immediately called and texted Tyson Ruddick to inform him his technician had left without repairing the problem. I never heard back from the man (?). Based on his horrid work quality and non existent customer care I would strongly recommend you look elsewhere. Coastal Fence & Irrigation is, in my opinion, dishonest and completely unworthy of being entrusted with the smallest of projects. I would rate him with -5 stars but that isn't strong enough for fecal matter.
