So I did a little research and reached out to Chem-Dry, and their technician Ray is super helpful / knowledgeable. He helped me understand why more regular deep cleaning is useful not only for businesses, but for at-home as well. After working with him and having my cleaning done, I noticed an immediate difference for both my 12 year old pup and I - so much so that I've now signed up for the "Gold Membership", where I will be able to schedule quarterly cleanings. Stains (which are still present) were not treated except one in a doorway that the technician scuffed the stain repeatedly with his black soled boots that he wore in from the outside. No shoe covers were worn until the technician was placing the protective papers under the legs of the furniture. I had to request to have the papers placed. The second technician was sitting in the truck, not assisting, for the last 35 minutes of the visit. They were correct when they told me the carpet would dry in 24 hours. I do not recommend their services.
