Gotta say thanks to East Tenn Transmission they don't have a Facebook page but I took my 99 f250 in…read moreback in September due to the transmission going out I had them do a rebuild and put a billet torch converter after all said and done it was about 4000 which I checked other transmissions shop around the tri-cities and it was going to be around 5 to 6000 to do it but Carlos did a great job and at a short time Later mid December my starter mount broke and if you know about 99 f250 then you know the mount acts as a spacer between the bale housing and motor when it broke it messed up the transmission line which is covered under the warranty of the transmission so I bought the part and sent it back they honored the warranty and done a fluid change and fixed the part and got it done they put me in front of the line and got it done in two days one day was waiting on a new starter I highly recommend this shop and Carlo and his dad do great work for a reasonable price he told me that most shops try to get rich off diesels but he said they are a bigger job

At no time when we spoke to the owner did he mention any costs to diagnose the vehicle or a charge to have his mechanic look at the vehicle. I noticed that on Google Reviews the owner mentions that the cost to diagnose a vehicle is $79.95. Ok, we would have agreed to that if he told us that. However after two and a half weeks with no work being done (his mechanic had a family emergency) on the vehicle we needed to take it somewhere else to get it fixed as we couldn't wait any longer. However, when we went to get the keys to the vehicle and have it TOWED AGAIN, the owner tells us we owed him $250!!!!! NO WORK WAS DONE ON THE VEHICLE!!! He claims his mechanic spent two hours on the car, but yet the only things listed on the invoice are error codes that you get when you hook the car up to a diagnosis computer. THAT TAKES 2 HOURS???? After arguing with him he went down on the price to $150. AGAIN, NO WORK WAS DONE ON THIS VEHICLE. So how does this owner charge one person $79.95 for a diagnosis and then charge us $150 (originally $250)???? This owner is a scammer. Beware!

Today I go there since there was only 3 cars there 2 in the bay and one waiting I go to the other bay. After waiting 20 minutes they tell me they are taking the person that was there before me. This is a courtesy I was never afforded when I was in the same situation there. so I won't be going back they are not that great anyway trying to sell me things they do not completely understand like transfer case fluid. I'm taking my business elsewhere.

They got me in pretty much right away, they were quick, professional, informative, and not the sleazy sales people you can sometimes run across elsewhere. Heck - the manager even gave me a free coupon to use for my oil change which made the whole ordeal way cheaper than the dealership would've been. Will definitely be back.
