I wish that I could give them 0 stars. Get all repair and warranty quotes in writing. Their word…read moremeans nothing. A "no worries" warranty claim just became an $800 bill. By the way they're now called Southeast Ford.

Be careful with these people. I dropped my F-150 off on 8/2/2018 to have the rear brake lines…read morerepaired and my transmission examined. I was given an estimate of approx. $160 by Kelsie for the brake work. Over a month later the bill was $400+ and that the vehicle was still leaking brake fluid. My transmission had not been examined. Here is the breakdown: As stated, I dropped the truck off on 8/2/2018. After several days and my vehicle not being moved from the spot in which I left it, I stopped by to check. I was told that parts had to be ordered. On 8/10/2018, I get a call from Kelsie at Quick Lane telling me that other items needed to be repaired--minor things to be expected such as washers, fluid, and a brake caliper. I was fine with that and authorized. These additional expenses were around $100. I was also told that the entire fuel line running the length of the truck would need to eventually be replaced. At no time was I told that brake fluid was still leaking and that the transmission could not be evaluated until ALL of the "suggested" (not required) work was complete. The cost for this was $700 for labor alone. I declined the extra work at the time and was told by Kelsie that they would check out my transmission after they completed the brake work. I went to pick up the truck today (9/5) as it had been sitting in a different spot for two to three days. The man working said that they truck had been ready for pickup for several days. He argued with me whether or not an employee had called me to let me know... they hadn't. He also informed me that the transmission was not examined because the truck was still leaking brake fluid. I told him that I had not been made aware that the brake lines were still leaking. Again, he argued with me that Kelsie had called and informed me of that... she hadn't. The last thing that I heard from her was that parts were to be ordered and that they suggested that I made additional repairs--not that they were necessary to complete the requested work. Now the bill had gone from the quoted $160 to over $400... and my truck still wasn't repaired. The gentleman was gracious enough to discount the total bill somewhat, however I'm no better off than I was a month ago when I left the truck with them. I was willing to give Quick Lane Tire & Auto (and Grindstaff Automotive Group) another chance after a bad experience several years ago. I made a poor decision in hindsight. I suppose it is always a good idea to take photos/get copies of estimates as well as log when you communicate with businesses. Quick Lane Tire & Auto Center won't hesitate to argue with you even when they don't have the first note to back it up.
