From the absolutely beautiful interior design to the spacious dance floor, large bar, and seating tables, we knew we wanted CCB to host the greatest event of our lives! The day we toured, we were provided with a thorough packet of options, flexible and fair payment plans, and a detailed timeline of events, making the organizational component of this experience flawless. We booked our wedding fairly far out, but CCB continued to reach out and connect with us over the course of two years. As our wedding day got closer, they provided efficient in-person meetings where we never felt rushed and always felt welcomed to create our perfect day. Throughout the planning process, we worked closely with Stacy, Drew, Matt, and Tim (and many others), who all displayed such professionalism while also having charismatic personalities that were contagious! In those meetings, we didn't just plan; we got to know the CCB family more and shared a lot of laughs. The CCB tasting event was an evening my husband, myself, and our parents will cherish forever! It was an incredible night that allowed us to really dive deeper into our wants and needs for the wedding, leaving us feeling confident in all of our choices. With that being said, the food offered through CCB was absolutely delicious! Throughout the entire planning process, the Canoe Club would respond to emails very quickly and with great detail. They even had documents that made collecting meals for our guests easy. We never felt lost in the process and never felt unheard in our requests. It was no surprise that the professional vendors associated with the CCB were all exceptional as well. I cannot even begin to explain the amount of time and energy we saved by having incredible options from trusted professionals built into the Everything But The Dress program! For the vendors we used who were not associated with the venue, CCB was very accommodating. They completed all the organizing between space and equipment needs, as well as coordinated timelines. Everyone was so friendly and talented in their profession. We believe it speaks volumes about the excellence of the Canoe Club that everyone was able to work so seamlessly together! My husband and I still talk about how truly impressive it was that the Canoe Club was on top of everything on the day of our wedding! We were provided a day-of wedding coordinator who kept our bridal parties on track and allowed us to follow the timeline of events we envisioned for our day. We were also so pleased with how well they set everything up and made all of our hard work come to life! We never had to stress about anything on our wedding day, and we were even handed our signature cocktails right after saying our "I dos!" Our guests still comment on how kind all of the people working with CCB were to them. It felt so wonderful to have a venue that wanted the absolute best for us and our guests! We would recommend the Canoe Club Ballroom to anyone and everyone without hesitation. We firmly believe that if you book your wedding with them, you will have the same beautiful, fun, and special day without the very common wedding planning stressors! From the beautiful ballroom to the delicious food, everything was top notch! We got the "Everything but the dress" package and it made the planning so much easier and very affordable! We had over 200 guests and they were able to make special accommodations for those who needed them. Between the Roses provided the flowers , bouquets and boutonnieres. Heather was super nice and helpful! Veronica's Cakes made a delicious 3 tiered cake and provided dairy and gluten free desserts that were phenomenal! George Confoey, the DJ, got the guests up and dancing all night! Stacey and her entire staff worked so hard to make the night magical for my daughter and son-in-law, and for our family and friends. What really made our experience exceptional was the incredible service and support we received from the Miraval team. Our day of coordinator, Lauren, was an absolute rockstar. She was so organized, attentive, and truly went above and beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly. We never had to worry about a single detail, allowing us to fully enjoy the day. Our original wedding venue was in Anna Maria, FL and was unfortunately damaged substantially during the hurricanes so we had 3.5 weeks to plan this MA wedding. Every single guest noted that they would have NEVER known this wedding was planning in 3.5 weeks because of how seamless everything was. We owe that all to the Miraval team. The food was absolutely fantastic, from the cocktail hour hors d'oeuvres, salads, entrees, and dessert; everything was delicious! Overall, Miraval gardens provided the perfect backdrop and hassle-free experience for our dream wedding day. We are so grateful to the entire staff for making our vision a reality.     Booking FotoBoyz was hands down the worst decision I made in planning my wedding. Prior to the…read moreevent, emails were never answered and communication was difficult. The morning of my wedding, I received a frantic call from the attendant explaining she would be late. Photobooth was to display our monogram - it did not. Our contract included an album for guests to sign and post pictures. Attendant forgot the album and four weeks later we were mailed an album with random drawings and stickers. 2 hours into reception, the attendant pulls me aside and asks when her vendor meal would be served. If you are looking for professionalism, do yourself a favor and book elsewhere.

    I initially looked into Fotoboyz a month prior to my event, and the communication was a little…read moreinconsistent, both during the initial estimate, as well as during the front-end of graphics design. However, FotoBoyz ended up coming through in the end, and I need to give special thanks to CJ, Graciano, and Will. After my initial rep didn't respond to me, CJ made me feel like a valued customer, answering all of my questions, and making sure the right people were in place to make my event a success. Graciano was the graphics designer I worked with, and his work with customizing my backgrounds turned out great! Finally, Will was the on-site attendant. If you get Will, he will do everything he can to make sure your event is successful. He was enthusiastic throughout the event while in-charge of the green screen experience, and he took pictures throughout the event. He also brought in a speaker from his house to hook up for music when our event was missing a speaker. That is above and beyond service, and I highly recommend requesting Will if you have an event in Boston. He was great! My rating is 5 stars for the ultimate delivery and much of that is thanks to CJ, Graciano, and Will, but I had to knock it down 1 star due to the initial communication in which the first rep that I worked with wasn't very responsive, and caused a little stress a week or two out from my event with nothing firmly in place. In the end, it will depend on the people who are assigned to work with you at Fotoboyz, but I plan on using them for a future event. Finally, a note for bigger groups..for the Green Screen, if you're ordering one for a party that likes to take group pictures, ask them how they can accommodate you. I got the smaller one (better for 1, 2, or 3 people), but I think Will told me that we can ask about a bigger green screen during the estimate if we tend to take group pictures.
