Do not deny entry for actual paying customers who tip and can buy more then just soda and water.

My mistake was that I signed the receipt without reading it! I went back to the store to tell him he was supposed to show me the CCTV and then I would pay him, what happened next was that he started insulting me and my wife and raised his voice shouting at us! He can hardly finish a sentence in English without making at least two mistakes and yet he was questioning us! He almost shouted "you can go f... ". Now about his claim: at first he said you and your friend came and bought something that cost about 15 dollars. My friends and I had bought two 6 packs a few days ago so I thought he is talking about that... so I told him about it (stupid me), then he said "ow yes you are right it was 22 dollars not 15", then I said it wasn't me who paid for that purchase. As a result suddenly he said "No you were alone!" And I was like "what? You just said you were with a friend " and he was like "No I didn't said that, you were alone!" Next I said "Ok show me what I bought and I'll pay for it" thinking about all the times I was there. He said "my other employees remembers what you bought and I have you on CCTV so I'll call you when I have proof so you can see for yourself". Meanwhile, when he said you were with a friend I thought maybe it had been my friend who didn't pay successfully so I told him it's ok to charge me for my friend and he did it even though we had all the rest of the conversation above! When I saw he has charged me 22 dollars extra I was angry so I went back to store to ask him nicely he should have stayed with what we agreed on. When we got there his other employee was there standing there looking at me being like "he looks like him " with a confused face and then adding that I had bought a 12 pack ! (I've never bought a 12 pack in my life yet to this day) so I'm nicely asking him to void the transaction and then he starts "U have signed, if it wasn't you then why did you sign!" And things like "Give me you DL and I'll return it to you when I have proof"(remember that his own employee messed up not me). At the end when I reminded him that It has been their fault not ours he shouted "it is your card that has been declined not our system"!!!!! These conversations were also filled with some occasional insulting too such as "cheap ass", "stupid" and others. So, go there if like being insulted and ripped off. Update: I called my credit card company and ask them to deduct the money he stole from me. In the process he lied again and made up yet another story but eventually at the end I got my money back. I don't care if it was a cent or a 100 dollars, I won't let a thief rip me off lying in my face, insulting me and my family.

The location is ideal right off 75 and it is easy to get in and out. They usually have very competitive fuel prices, which doesn't always happen near a major college campus. Most importantly to me they stock and sell Ballreich potato chips, the best chips in the United States. Well lit, well staffed, long hours, and never had a problem at either BG location. With that said as a three decade customer, I have no problem recommending Barneys to anyone living in Bowling Green or traveling up and down US 75.
