I purchased my tickets from a third party website that directed me to Mike's Tickets. Just minutes after I clicked the confirm button I received a phone call from Mike himself. He called to notify me that he was going continue with the transaction and charge my card. I was actually pretty impressed that I received a call. I also noticed that he was near by and I asked if I could pick up the tickets in his office rather than at will call. Mike was pretty accommodating and said that he would be in the office until 10p. After work I drove down to his office and was able to pick up my tickets without a problem. I just wish he didn't charge me the $15 "Will Call" delivery fee. Over all the process of buying tickets from Mike's was pretty good. I felt that the price of the tickets were marked up pretty high. But after doing a lot more research the price of the tickets are about the same as other sites. In the future I might buy from Mike's again but I would look for the best ticket deal before any purchase is make or buy earlier. read more

Their website is a bit misleading. The fees aren't included until AFTER you enter your credit card info. It makes you think you're getting a deal but really it's exactly the same prices as any other online ticket broker. read more

This is the biggest rip off for tickets that I have ever used. I did not do my homework and just assumed that everything was on the up and up. To make a long review short, I purchased River Dance tickets online and did not realize until after the fact that I was being charge $97.00 for $55.00 face value tickets plus $15.00 for mailing, plus $40.00 for a handling fee. I can't even say enough great things about these people. Bought tix to see the Carnivores Tour in Irvine on ebay and unfortunately what should've been a relatively easy transaction, got rather complicated. Sara was I believe who I got to irritate the most throughout the course of all of it (sorry girl!) but they came thru for me BIGTIME after I told them this was my birthday present. I got killer seats and they threw in VIP parking and lounge passes to boot. I was involved in a little melee that occurred at the stage that night, and even had a roadie from Linkin Park that came over and buy me a beer since he felt bad for me. But the best part was I got to meet Jared, Tomo, and Shannon from 30 Seconds to Mars cuz another one of their reps saw what happened and felt bad too! Needed some tickets to the Pantages at the last minute and Mike's came through. I got great tickets that were better than anything available on the website through Ticketmaster and only paid 2 bucks more per ticket (and a 5 dollar handling fee) than I would have paid had I committed to buying them 5 weeks earlier. They make you believe you got a great deal until the very, very, very....very end just before you have to confirm the transaction. So while you see the amount X throughout the whole process of multiple steps (which even already includes the instant download fee to make you feel like that's it, all fees included), after putting in your credit card information and moving on to the final step they add the service fee, which in my case would have been an additional 30+%. Sure, they claim that they are transparent and give you the final price before you process the transaction (which is what most likely they will also reply to my post) and yes, you do see it at the very end but in my opinion, that just does not flow well. They could let you know from the very beginning. I bet a lot of people fall for that and don't realise what is going on until it is too late. I read the reviews only AFTER I had unknowingly bought the tickets from Mike's online, thinking I was buying them from Ticketmaster, but was somehow redirected to a broker, but it wasn't until after I entered my credit card information that I realized it was a broker! I was immediately sent a Fed-Ex tracking link to my email inbox showing estimated delivery time, then I went online and started reading all of the nightmares people have had with Mike's. Let me assure you....I had NO such nightmare and have only great things to say about Mike's......well......except for the mark-up and service charges, but hey, that's the game these days, even at the venue box offices they charge these "Service" fees. In fact, I would have given Mike's 5 stars had it not been for said mark-ups. I tracked my tickets online from pick-up to truck to distribution center to truck to my house, delivered exactly as promised and packaged with a copy of the invoice and a business card! Some of the best customer service I have ever had! I missed the delivery from FedEx and it looked like I wouldn't have my tickets in time for the concert. Mike personally called me on a Sunday morning and saw to it that I could get into the concert even though I didn't have the physical tickets with me. We were charged $270 for three Hollywood Bowl tickets that, when they arrived, had a value of $38 printed on each ticket. In addition to the mark-up on the tickets, there was a delivery fee of $16 per ticket. We don't mind someone making a profit, but this is ridiculous. When we called to complain, the cost was blamed on a thid party vendor. We will never use Mike's again, and plan to notify the Hollywood Bowl that when one types in the venue site online, the first thing that pops up isn't really the Hollywood Bowl site. TOTAL RIPOFF Recently bought 4 tickets from Mike's for Wicked at Segerstrom center for the Arts. The tickets initially cost $49 each, Mike charged me $82, and if that was not enough they tacked on another $75.44 and called it "other expenses." I call it a scam!!!!!! In the end I paid $428.44 for 4 tickets that should have only cost $200. Learned my lesson, never buy from Mike. read more

This was a terrible experience. We were charged $700 on top of ticket purchase and price was not clear at checkout especially $178 handling fee on top of 388 for a 99 dollar ticket.
