A police officer stopped to check on us and wanted to know if we needed any recommendations on where to to get a new tire? He told us the next exit would have 4 places for us to choose from. So I jumped on Yelp and found Jennings Tire Center. By the time we got there is was 4:05 pm and they closed at 5pm. The staff was extremely attentive and helpful. Even as I was stressed to the max and about to have a heart attack because of the detour and car repairs needed. The to add to my stress when I went to pay my card was declined. Seriously this was starting to be the road trip to hell. Thankfully the woman behind the counter explained to me that because I wasn't from the state or that are the blank put a temporary hold on my account all I had to do was call and they would lift it. This staff was so sweet and kind. Here I am freaking out and the woman behind the counter was so kind, calm and attentive. We were able to leave by 445pm and be back on the road and my checking account was ok again! Thank you to the STAFF here you are all WONDERFUL

It's interesting reading the other reviews of Jennings Tire Center because this was not the same experience I had. Looks like Brian and his family(review down below) got great service. On June 10th I'm headed west for vaca and get a flat. I am out of town, hours from home, female alone with a flat tire near closing time. Can you feel the panic you would have or maybe for your mother, sister, daughter, friend. I entered the center at 440pm- I know this by a panic of texts to family to help me find the nearest town and tire place. My tire slowly losing air maintaining if I don't stop. I go in and two females are inside, one young and the other older. I was told they did NOT HAVE TIME to help. There was no one in the parking lot or inside. I recall one vehicle in the shop area and people standing around it. They couldn't have even looked at it? I dunno, I was devastated in that moment and knew I needed to hurry and find another place. These were the things I found wrong after purchasing it: 2 broken window regulators, 2 HVAC door mode actuators broken, air leak caused by incorrectly installed windshield, 3/4 of the speakers did not work and all door panels had plastic weld defects. My contract and IOU said they owed me an oil change and a rear windshield replacement. Also, said no warranty, which I didn't know meant "sold as-is" until now. I bought the car for $6800 and they would not budge to meet me at the kelly blue book value of $6300. I've already put $120 into repairs. I'm estimating $500 when I'm finished fixing everything. The company refuses to fix anything or reimburse me for the parts I've replaced myself. Even after Facebook and Youtube embarrassment! 50 days later, I'm still waiting on my rear windshield to be ordered and replaced. I wouldn't recommend anyone to shop at either of the 2 Bubba Oustalet stores in Jennings, Louisiana. They are shady, ignorant people and are uneducated about the products they sale and handle. The only people worth your time who's employed by that company are the people not in suits i.e. mechanics.

Toyota in Lake Charles took my car in quickly the other day and was so kind and courteous. They even charged less than originally quoted. That makes me feel better ...like they won't charge for extra stuff or try to find more wrong just to make more money. My car came back today in great shape and I'm glad. I had just finished eating my fill of Thanksgiving dinner at my in-laws and was preparing to make the 40-mile trip home in the rain. As we were leaving, my son, who was sitting in the back seat, advised me that he saw water on the passenger side back seat; specifically dripping down the back and on top of the seat where the headrest fits into the seat. A quick check of the seat revealed that the water was coming in through the corner of the rear glass. Further inspection revealed that it was leaking on both sides. I drove home in the rain with water steadily dripping inside, until I got home and placed a tarp over the truck to prevent any further water intrusion. A quick internet search revealed that there was a known issue with the trucks equipped with the electronic sliding rear glass. The next day, I called 4 Chevrolet dealers in the New Orleans metro area and explained the problem. All of them said that since I was out of the 3-year, 36-K mile factory warranty, there was nothing they could do for me other than replace the rear sliding glass at a cost of approximately $1,300.00. I explained to them that I also had the extended warranty, but they all advised that it did not cover glass! My next call was to Service Chevrolet Cadillac in Lafayette, LA, as this is where I bought the truck. Although it was a 3-hour drive to get there, this was my last hope. I spoke with Service Manager Jerome Babineaux, who was well aware of the Silverado rear sliding glass leak issue. He knew I had the extended warranty and called them on my behalf, only to also be told that glass leaks are not covered under the extended warranty. Before, I could make my disappointment known, he told me to give him some time and that he would call Chevrolet (corporate) on my behalf. A short while later that same day, Mr. Babineaux called me back and stated that he had spoken to Chevrolet and that they agreed to pay $1,000.00 and all I would be responsible for was $300.00. Mr. Babineaux stated that Service Chevrolet Cadillac had a great relationship with American Glass on Apollo Street and that they would do the job on Chevy's behalf. Although normally a 2-day job, Mr. Babineaux worked out a deal with American Glass that if I could get there at 7 AM, they would put an extra technician on the job and get t back to me the same day. Needless to say, I left at 4 AM on 30 NOV 2024 and arrived at Service Chevrolet at 7 AM. Service advisor John Prejean was already expecting me and treated me very courteously. Soon after arriving, my truck was on its way to American Glass. Both John & Jerome kept me updated throughout the day, and around 3:00-3:30 PM, my truck was returned to me with a brand new rear sliding glass. I can honestly say that the Service Department truly went out of its way to get me a great deal, which made the best of a bad situation. So grateful for Jerome Babineaux and John Prejean. Can't recommend them enough, as they provided me with the highest level of customer service.
