We bought the part, and a friend tried to help, but he wasn't able to get the cradle off to remove the steering rack. To make things more stressful, every shop we called was booked weeks out -- and with the car undriveable and my husband recovering from a broken leg and surgery the day before Thanksgiving, we were in a bind. Eagle Auto Milan LLC was the only place where someone picked up the phone and truly listened. The gentleman my husband spoke with was incredibly kind and said he'd do his best to help us for a reasonable price since my husband is temporarily not working. They picked up the car on Monday evening, completed the repair quickly for a very reasonable price, and then delivered the car back to us because my husband couldn't drive. They even brought the keys right to our door with a gift that was so appreciated. In a stressful time, their honesty, kindness, and willingness to go above and beyond meant everything. He showed me a couple SUV's and I purchased the second one he showed me, Under the impression this car was four wheel drive. I drove it home that day, parked it and left the next day Jan 24 to work the winter storm in KY. On Sunday the 25th my wife called me and said she was looking into how to put it into 4 wheel as she would need to drive it on Monday, after the snow storm, and it was only front wheel drive. Being Sunday and the dealer was closed I called Monday morning, the 26th, and said I had bought the wrong car, it was useless to me. And they simply shrugged and said "you drove it off the lot" knowing full well I was mislead. The first words out of my mouth when I walked in was the one thing I needed. Literally no other stipulations. I was willing to get the car I wanted and work out the price details. They were unwilling to even discuss it. That Monday the car was driven to a rehabilitation hospital in the city and home and parked again as there were some computer issues with it. It was driven back to the dealership Friday Jan 30 having not been driven anywhere else and they have had it since. They haven't offered me a rental car. They don't know when it will be done or if they can even fix it. I had a car I was mislead into purchasing for 4 days. That's it. I don't want the car, I don't want to deal with this dealership again. Not for a second have they made any attempt to make this right. They mislead me into buying a car that is defective. And I'm still here, a month later with no car. Who can go a month without transportation?
