Not exactly a crisis :) but I wanted it fixed quickly, so I Googled "custom tailor" near Rittenhouse Square. I spoke with Brian (who I later learned is the owner of this bespoke/made-to-measure shop), and he was incredibly helpful. He went above and beyond to get his team to make the alteration on short notice, and he even suggested a pocket square to pair with the jacket. He also took time to explain the unique work he does with clients, including their image consulting approach. The customer service was outstanding, and the experience really stood out. I fully intend to use them for made-to-measure clothing going forward, especially with the added value of their image consulting. Highly recommend if you're looking for tailoring, made-to-measure, and a more thoughtful, guided approach to personal style. Cheers!

What wasn't expected was that the grooms shirt was ripped down the sleeve. The alterations to the best man's jacket were atrocious and half finished on the sleeves. Groomsman 1 needed a large vest and got an XL. Groomsman 2 needed an XL vest and got a large. Luckily, they were able to switch. Groomsman 1 had 6 inches of extra space in the gut area of his Jacket and Groomsman 2 had a jacket that was 1 inch too tight and could only button it if he took off his traded vest. For a $250 rental you would think they would do better work.

Not only are the tuxedos and pocket squares great here, but so are their dress shoes and other formal wear. They have dress pants and some nice shirts, but none of the boys got any. However, they picked up some dress shoes that were comfortably padded like a sneaker on the inside. Also, Boy's Connection offers suits and tuxedos up to size 42 so most men can get their clothes here. Altogether, Boy's Connection is a treat shop to pick up some formal wear including suits and tuxedos for the boys!

Out of the few bridal shops I visited, Elizabeth John's definitely had the most versatile bridal gown options - I felt they had a good selection of simple, elegant, and timeless dresses. I also want to reiterate how absolutely amazing Sam was. My guests joining got a bit lost and I was overwhelmed by the situation - Sam went out of her way to make sure I was alright, and once they eventually got there, Sam made sure to focus the appointment on me and the dresses, and overall just made the whole experience so special and relaxed.
