As a returning customer to Tint My Ride, my recent experience in 2024 was drastically different from my first visit in 2016. Back then, I had a 5% tint applied to my car and was thoroughly satisfied with the results. When I bought a new vehicle and decided to return to Tint My Ride for the same quality tinting, I encountered numerous issues. Despite requesting the same 5% tint for all windows, including the front windshield for headache relief, I found the darkness level of the tint on my new vehicle didn't match my previous experience. Upon reaching out to Tint My Ride, they cited various factors such as sunlight and window size that could impact tint darkness. While these explanations seemed plausible, I emphasized that my sunroof was closed, and the front windshield was now tinted, unlike before. Seeking a second opinion, I visited other tinting companies who confirmed that the tint didn't appear to be 5% and even conducted tests, yielding similar results. Upon returning to Tint My Ride and discussing the issue with Dom, he initially claimed the tint should range between 5 to 9%. However, multiple tests revealed it was at 12%, significantly higher than what I had paid for. Despite showing documentation stating a range of 5 to 8%, Dom didn't acknowledge the misinformation and only offered to re-tint the front windows at an additional cost. Unsatisfied with this proposed solution, I insisted that the rear windows also didn't meet the 5% specification. Testing them revealed they were at 10%, still outside the promised range. Frustrated with the lack of accountability, I expressed my concerns to Dom, who attempted to deflect blame onto the tint manufacturer. He argued that they provided incorrect information and suggested my issue should be with them. This, coupled with his dismissive attitude and insulting remarks, only exacerbated the situation. Despite my efforts to seek a resolution, including considering re-tinting with a different product at my expense, I was met with further complications. Dom claimed the product I originally requested, 3M Crystal film at 5%, wasn't available and attempted to justify the deviation from the agreed-upon tint by citing the use of Ceramic Plus materials. However, this excuse fell flat as it contradicted their advertised service. After numerous attempts to rectify the situation, including reaching out to the company for a refund or proper re-tinting, I have been met with further resistance and excuses from Dom. His refusal to provide adequate customer service and ownership of the issue has left me with no choice but to escalate the matter further. My next step is to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau if Tint My Ride continues to refuse to rectify the situation and provide the service I originally paid for. It's disheartening to be met with such blatant disregard for customer satisfaction and fairness. At this point, speaking directly with the owner seems necessary, as Dom's handling of the situation has been entirely inadequate. read more

I recommend this shop 110% they sincerely take care of every one of their customers. While I was waiting for my car to finish a lady came in that had her windows tinted with them as well and one of her windows were peeling. They apologized and re-tinted the window without any hassle and on top of all that they gave her a gift card to compensate for her time wasted. They really do honor their warranty, which is something I respect. They tinted my car and showed me around the shop and explained their plotter machine and the reason they are able to sell me a quality tint for a great price. I ended up getting their premium tint and I had them tint my windshield with a clear film that rejects heat. I must admit that this is the best window tint I have ever gotten. My BMW X5 is so much cooler now and my MPG went up! They explained to me how the A/C usage is lowered because the ceramic film rejects heat from the sun so the A/C doesn't have to work as hard to cool down my car, which in turn increases my miles per gallon. read more

Nice Tint at a very reasonable price. You can do much worse for much more at different companies, but Tint My Ride is a reputable company. Yes, The provide a great deal through Groupon... Yes, They do try to upsell you to a "better" quality tint with warranty. However, they will also gladly stay with the advertised Groupon price if you choose to do so. The choice is yours, and they are very clear on the options that they offer. I have had several cars done here and you do get exactly what you wish to pay for: I did limo dark on a Honda Element (and paid more) and I stayed with the lower price deal on a Chevy Bolt. They are damage my rear glass connector from VW Jetta 2012, my defrost and my AM radio antenna cable the person who install my rear glass tint scrap on the corner on the glass and cut the connector . Before I took my car to place eve thing was fine include am radio. I took my car to vw dealership they open the both side of my rear windows and show to me the connector has been when they were scraping , So I went see these people tint my ride and talk to manager in duty is name is Taha is told me if you like you can take us to the court . So I checked around to the competition around the area. I have used others in the past. What made me come here was the enthusiastic, "we want your business" approach. First thing on my phone inquiry was they made me feel good. Thanks me for calling and quoted me an excellent price. I was also impressed how he sold his business by saying all of the film was Lazer cut to fit my exact application. They also took me in the same day. Very impressed. I am in the customer service business as well. My favorite motto is "customers may not remember what you did for them but they will always remanded how you made them feel". Oh my goodness! The fact that this is an actual establishment is mind blowing! These guys seriously didn't know what they were doing, one guys claimed 3M only makes films up to 20%. Someone else said they don't do sunroof tinting and then I see he does it for someone else. Sketchy business, the price for tint is not consistant, i called back couple days later and got a different quote. When I foolishly accepted, I found the tint was not even installed properly and eventuallly the tint came off. Now i have to pay someone to remove the tint for their poor job. And then arriving with an estimate before the appointment, and then being able to have same day service. Isle was able to help me process the price of different ways and that I was interested in. It was amazing, they let us drop the car off a day before our appointment so that it could be there and ready for them. Then they walked me through the different tint lvls and how each would work. What they say is premium film is NOT premium product at all. It's Llumar ATC, which is a very cheap dyed (not ceramic) film with very limited heat rejection rate. Plus, if you do not UPGRADE to the darker film, they reject to redo it even if the tint job is not properly done. With Groupon voucher ($95) + upgrade ($129), you can get it done better at any other tint shop. Beware.... the moment you confirm the purchase of Groupon voucher, you get stuck. read more
