i was in a m.v.a. on august 14th and was injured and was taken by ambulance to the hospital…read moreunresponsive and the officer at the scene called carl's towing. i had no choice in the matter and when i called the next morning, literally as soon as they opened and he told me yes come on up and we will talk about it. when i get there he says you can pay almost $500 for his services or pay $150 and sign the recipt and that would give him my car plus the $150 i had to pay to even look at my car, i only needed to get my important stuff from it and wasnt allowed until the money was paid and i signed the recipt. i had several personal belongings on my car and inportant papers that had my personal information on them, when i got to my car my laptop that was in my purse in the front seat was shoved up under the passenger seat and my medication i had in my purse was gone as well. the personal papers were gone to and i have had calls asking me to finish my requests, one for a walmart card and another from a car lot wanting to sell me a new car based on my request. i have not done anything to try for a new car because of insurance companies. the driver in the oposite vehicle gave the wrong information and i cant get anything done and i cant scrap my car for a possible down payment for a car because carls took my car. i have spoken with several diffrent organizations that say he is not allowed to do that, espically since my insurance company had not been notified of the accident and had no chance to even look at my car. in my opinion carls is a thief and shady. would not reccomend to anyone, not even someone i hate.

On the third visit, I was told the reason I was experiencing the problem with my car is because I need a new engine. I was then given a $8,000 estimated repair cost. I left that dealership and called Skylights Automotive and I was asked to bring it in that same day. Not only was I told that I did not need a new engine, they repaired my car at a fraction of what the dealership was trying scam me for. If you ever experience any mechanical issues, please give them a try. You will not be disappointed. My car drives like a dream!

Talk about an accurate name! I've taken various vehicles here for a few years and always been…read morepleased with the results when I got the keys back, but even more pleased with how long the results lasted. From getting rid of the puppy nose marks on windows to conditioning the interior, and even getting various goopy, tarry, yucky messes off of the exterior (hey, I drive a lot of really rural roads in various stages of disrepair) paneling. Staff is attentive and helpful; scheduling is usually about 10 days or so out, so plan ahead. Full detailing (inside and out) service takes a little bit longer than half a day, but it's worth the drive from Etown.

Maybe I'll try again in the future; but hopefully this serves as a learning experience for them about the importance of organization. Because of his prompt response and apology I have upgraded my review from 1 star to 2 stars. I made an appointment to have my car detailed today, Wednesday, June 14th. It is a new (to us) vehicle, and the prior owner was a smoker. The smoke smell had been bothering me really bad and I decided to pay to have the interior detailed and cleaned thoroughly to try and remove the smell. This business is right down the road from my workplace, and I was told they would pick it up first thing Wednesday morning at 8:30 and have it back to me by lunch (noon) the same day so I could run down to my daughter's childcare facility to nurse her. It is now 10:32, they haven't show up, won't answer the business phone, and I left a voicemail that they haven't responded to. It's a shame, because I had heard so many good things about them. Clearly they're not interested in having my business. I guess I'll be seeking someone out in Elizabethtown.
