To insinuate that I don't know where I experienced the HUGE problems listed below is so insulting and literally displays how they bully any client who calls them out. I know which business I'm leaving a review on. I have the receipts with the address and I have the emails from you insulting me for questioning your unethical billing and p*ss-poor customer service. DO NOT GO TO THIS CLINIC! Do not study there if you're a veterinary student! You need to be shut down. Long wait times for scheduled appointments, and even more waiting once you've finally left the waiting room and are given an exam room. They're a "learning" facility so you get to stare into a creepy camera while your pet and you anxiously await any kind of attention. Their billing practices are very suspect. You essentially get bullied into more appointments when everything really should have been completed in the first appointment. They'll perform unnecessary tests and bill you for the follow up both in the bill you received while scheduling the follow up then again after the follow up. Essentially double billing. I called them out on it and was told I couldn't leave without paying. I ended up calling GVL non-emergency line asking if they could in fact detain me. Officer said no. Husband ended up making a visit to discuss billing and they removed one of the charges. This all happened over a year ago. I'm leaving this review now bc they came up in conversation at an event last night. Apparently they're still up to their old shenanigans. I had written a disgruntled review on Google which was met by an email from the owner who made sure I knew she was a Christian and a mom. Not sure why that was relevant. A criminal's a criminal. Do your investigating all ya want lady. Word is spreading that your billing practices and services are a sham. Customer service? Yeah. Don't get ahead of yourselves. Maybe tackle honesty and integrity first.

On multiple visits, I encountered front desk staff who were dismissive and rude. Last fall, a veterinary technician cut my dog's nails so short that most of them bled. I lightly complained then but should've taken my complaint directly to Dr. Marshall. Soon afterward, my pup contracted a bacterial infection that ultimately led to her death. I have no idea if they were connected - but it apparently is possible -- and losing her was beyond devastating. She was a 5+ year rescue who had survived epilepsy, tick fever, allergy to spay stitches, flipped stomach, and several other random sicknesses as a puppy - after having been rescued from a compost pile in Costa Rica at two weeks old with her eyes still closed, weighing half a pound. Many months after her passing, I was finally ready to adopt another dog. Before applying through a rescue, I called Poinsett to confirm my records were complete and available for a veterinary reference. I was assured they were. Instead, the rescue was told there was no record of me or my dog and that my dog had never received rabies vaccinations or heartworm medication there. (!) When I went to the office to address the mistake, I was again met with a dismissive attitude from Lisa. Rather than helping resolve the issue, she interrupted a conversation I was having, made an unnecessary comment, and walked away. Mistakes happen. What has been most disappointing is the repeated lack of accountability, empathy, and professionalism. After more than 30 years as a client, it's heartbreaking to see how much this practice has changed. I want more for Dr. Marshall's legacy - and after her lengthy recovery - more confidence in the team's customer service skills.

He is no longer the owner but still works there, however visits are much more expensive and procedures like cryo surgery (Freezing)to remove 9 eraser and smaller sized warts, without anesthesia cost was exorbitantly high at 697.17. I had shaved areas around each wart prior to surgery. In total 12 areas. They had only 2 canisters of nitrogen and could not complete the removal and was told to come back for the remaining 3 for an additional fee. I called their parent office in Greer to complain about the price and service. A week b4 I took my dog in to get a quote for removal. Instead a new vet did a physical exam and said he did not remove warts! (Unusual because Dr. Pursley had managed wart removal when he owned the business at half the price.) I was charged for that visit even though I communicated specifically it was for wart removal. Instead he told me to rub a little antibiotic cream should the dog scratch and burst the growth. I was gobsmacked! Walking out of that exam I caught Dr. Pursley in the hallway that day and he said he could remove them, hence the cryosurgery today. In conclusion Farewell's Adminstrator called me back to fire me as a customer. I was not rude or loud in the office nor on the phone expressing my disappointment in the procedure today. Unfortunately, after many good years at Barkingham Palace they told me to find another vet. I have owned 5 Pedigreed ACS's in 33 years all living 15 to 16 years. Truthfully, I have never been so rudely treated by any vet prior to today.

I was lucky to be able to get a same day appointment to see Dr. Jenna Washburn for a new patient exam, she did a skin cytology, was able to provide my dog a cytopoint shot which is what he has been given in the past by his vet for this type of issue, since she saw some bacteria in his skin cytology she also provided us with some cefpodoxine medication for him. I can't thank her & her team for seeing us in short notice. This will make sure the rest of our trip is more enjoyable for everyone. My first impression of the establishment was plenty of parking, lots of open space outside for the dogs to pee, the waiting area was very clean, nicely decorated, & welcoming for your pets. They have a coffee station by the door, and I saw a restroom on my way into our op. Our op was very clean, private, with some pet information to read while you wait, the assistant was very friendly, and very attentive to my dog. Price is pretty much the same that we would've paid in FL. They do ask for a $50 deposit over the phone when making your appointment but it goes towards your bill. Again thank you to the great front desk staff, assistant, and Dr. Washburn for seeing us ! I highly recommend this vet for your pet. Walked out paying $453.78 and still have not received my pet's prescription for her heartworm medication after notifying them multiple times. Front desk receptionists clearly covers for the office manager whom I have tried making an appointment with but only makes contact through email, and signs her name as Crystal, LVT with no last name. We were able to make an appointment within one week of calling and had a quick and easy check-in upon arrival. We saw the vet tech right away and then had a nice conversation with the Vet. I would highly recommend taking your furry family here and seeing the team. The office was clean, staff was very nice, and we were in and out in less than half an hour. My dog had a tumor in the right lobe of his liver. No local vets would touch it. I'm in Asheville…read morefor the summer and my local vet recommended FETCH in Greenville. After some research confirming that their surgeons were board certified I made an appointment with Internal Medicine. I cannot praise them enough for the doctors' patience, knowledge, and recommendation on tests to perform prior to my making a decision on the surgery. Everything I read indicated that this particular surgery was very tricky because it was in the right liver lobe, and most surgeons were hesitant to try to remove it, but I felt that even though my dog was 12 years old the prognosis of only a few months if I did nothing vs. 4-5 years of the surgery was successful made the decision easy. I met with the surgeon and she was very confident that she could get it out...and she did!! Post Op a dedicated nurse was assigned to my pup 24/7. I received photos and updates every morning and evening while he was there. EVERYONE I met was caring and concerned. I never felt rushed and was always able to get all my questions answered. Was it worth the 4 hour round trip ride....most definitely!! There are not many specialty vet hospitals in the area and I'm so glad I chose this one!

Neighbors don't have the extra money, and the cat was running a 105.7 fever. He needed help. Fetch got over that ethical dilemma and went ahead and treated the cat, kept and observed him for 12 hours, and took my $1300, but when I asked for somebody to approve a prescription for heartworm, after negative results from the heartworm test THEY administered, they refused, citing office policy, causing me to take the cat to another vet and pay for another heartworm test because everybody wants to do their own test, ya know. Nothing in their pockets, so that's where they drew the line. It's sad. I've spent approximately $8,000 there on my own cats, and nobody would give me a signature for this poor thing. I brought the cat in at 4 p.m. and a 12 hour out-patient fee was charged. Instead of saying, you know what, come back at 6 or 7 when you get up, they told me if I didn't come at 4 a.m., they'd have to adjust my bill. And to think I travel 3 times farther to go to these guys than another emergency clinic just up the road from me. I escalated my request for an exception to just get a years' worth of heartworm medicine for this little guy, and they refused. They've lost me as a customer. I'll sit and wait someplace else where maybe the surroundings aren't as nice, but where somebody cares about the pet parents, too. For a signature!!!? Stick a fork in me, I'm done with them.
