Had a wonderful experience at Milestone Restaurant this weekend. You could really feel that they were gearing up for Mother's Day -- the restaurant was beautifully decorated and had such a warm atmosphere. The food was excellent from start to finish. The filet mignon steak was cooked perfectly, the fish tacos were delicious, and the desserts were amazing. I especially loved the warm apple cobbler with ice cream and the chocolate cookie ice cream. The Old Fashioned was also very well made. Our server, Lisa, was very attentive and extremely knowledgeable, which made the experience even better. Overall, great food, great ambiance, and a very enjoyable dining experience. read more

UPDATED REVIEW: I came back for valentine day and made a reservation for 7:15pm. They were packed and I was told when I got there that we wouldn't be seated until around 7:45pm. A little disappointed because I was with my mom and she has arthritis in her leg so she can't stand for very long without experiencing a lot of pain. But the did let us sit at the bar. The wait wasn't quite as long. We were seated before 7:45pm. Our waitress was very lovely and prompt. No complaints there. Our orders came out, but I don't think they were ours. They weren't prepared how we ordered and they food was not hot at all. Our waitress was so lovely and wanted to correct everything but she was slammed and we didn't want to burden her with more stuff. Overall the meal was good with just a few setbacks. I went down to a 4 from 5 because I just feel like when you go out and spend your money, you do want what you pay for. I do enjoy this restaurant so I would definitely go back. Over booked themselves on Valentines day. Unable to keep a reservation, and had no regard for the safety of there customers or staff, they allowed person after person to pile in at there front door and made no attempt to organize the mess at all. Upon arrival, asked for a booth. Was told the booths were for 6 people and we were seated in the bar area, where there were 6 booths, 2 were empty. 2 other people were promptly seated in the empty booths. Our order was wrong. Despite booking a Valentine's Day reservation over a month in advance, we were seated beside the entrance in a constant cold draft. We were told no other tables were available, yet an older couple who arrived later had their seats switched immediately. Our food was significantly delayed, and guests seated after us were served before we were. The manager's response was a free appetizer coupon expiring next month, which felt dismissive. TLDR - Delicious for most palettes, best for group events, friends, or business meetings. Okay selection for vegetarians (about 7 options on the menu) Not good for vegans* Delicious and fresh food, it was a busy night but allowing us to sit at the bar while we waited for a table allowed us to enjoy our night seamlessly while we celebrated with our family. The Peach Bellinis were amazing as always, and I recently learned that they had increased their Bellini selection with the new Mile-High Bellini (ingredients: Aviation gin, Bellini slush, soda, sangria) which I will have to try next time! They were out of the calamari that night, but they recommended the Wham-Bam Shrimp... and THANK YOU MA'AM , it did not disappoint! While it was expensive, ($18 Dollary-doos) it included: Crispy shrimp, spicy Wham-Bam sauce & sesame seeds! Super delish dish! They totally crushed it, my father-in-law has a taste for the finer seafood and it blew his taste buds away. For myself, the Wham-Bam Shrimp was surprisingly delicious, I am very picky about my shrimp cause my mom makes it the best. For my mother-in-law, she also loved the shrimp... which as someone who doesn't like shrimp, was impressive! When we received our bill, I noticed an extra charge of $8.00 as "L.F." When I asked our server what this was, she said it was a local fee to pay for things like "fireworks." The way she said it, it sounded like it was a mandatory fee. The next morning when we checked out, I noticed an LF fee on our hotel bill. When I asked the clerk about it, she immediately offered to remove it from the bill, which suggests this is just a cash grab. They also failed to tell me that there was an extra charge to substitute my Cajun fries for sweet potato fries. These charges aren't a big deal price wise but they suggest a policy of nickel and diming customers with extra charges and hoping we won't notice. read more

I went on Valentine's Day to this location, and surprisingly it was great service !!!! Our waitress was so kind and extremely attentive . I cannot say much about the menu- as it was a pre set menu. I ordered garden salad, steak and mash, and we had the different desserts they offered that night . I'm extremely pleased with the service we received :). read more

I had a pretty decent meal here...I ordered the red cuŕry thai chicken dish for my main dish....it was a little spicy but not too bad...the coconut calamari for an appetizer which tasted good and a side salad. Came tonight to celebrate my daughters 2nd birthday. The whole experience was terrible. Both my husband and I ordered steak which came already sliced for us, leaving a pool of blood on the plate (gross) and mine was undercooked. Our seafood salad was disgustingly sweet and way overpriced for what they give you. We asked for a piece of cake for our daughter with a candle and were told they didn't have cake so she brought a miniature ice cream sandwich with a sparkler in it which she couldn't blow out. Also, the waitress did not sing. We found that a little strange.... The restaurant was dirty, the washrooms smelled like they were in need of some serious disinfecting and the carpet throughout the restaurant was visibly filthy, I honestly could not believe my eyes! A wonderful patio evening at Milestones. After such a long hiatus with the food service industry, it was welcome reprieve to have a meal out. We ate on their patio that was expanded as indoor dining was not yet permitted. We were perfectly taken care of by all levels of staff, the food turned out excellent and so was our evening overall. My wife & I were here for Sunday lunch. The new menu has a good variety of choices and the dishes we ordered were excellent - no complaints there. My Sweet Chili Chicken Bowl was very flavorful and had a good bite to it. My wife also loved her Rustic Chicken Club. Both portions were so generous that we took enough home for another meal. Service was another story - endless waiting: We were at the door for 10-15 minutes before a hostess showed up. After the COVID formalities we were seated promptly and menus, condiments & cutlery were brought immediately, but then we waited again until a waitress came to the table to take our orders. The food was very slow coming out of the kitchen. After finishing our meal, we sat again waiting for the waitress to return and bring take-out boxes. Then we waited a long time again for her return with the bill and debit machine. I'm sure that 2/3 to 3/4 of our time in the restaurant was spent waiting. I would have rated this 3 or 4 star if it wasn't for the waiting. It was also quite cold, so not particularly comfortable. read more

Went for lunch on a Saturday afternoon @ 1 pm, it was not busy. The waitress came after about 10 minutes and I was reading my Card and instead of the waitress saying she would come back she stood there and asked if we were ready to order. The third person was not even at the table yet. I said not ready to order yet. I put the card away and started to look at the menu. Waitress not observant at all to her customers. Our food finally came after some time of a wait. I ordered Stacked Chicken Parmesan @ $21.00 and it came with two very small chicken breasts on top of way too much vermicelli noodles, 4 string beans and on strip if red pepper. Guess the noodles is the main filler of the meal. They should put more vegetables and less noodles. It was blah tasting, very expensive and service was not good. Nice afternoon yesterday for a patio lunch with a old friend. I love Milestones patio put that's about it. Sadly I want to like this place but third time tells me it's not going to happen. I had the beet goat cheese salad which was mediocre to say the least. It didn't have much to it about 4 pecans 4 pieces of beets five small crumbles of goat cheese and 6 blueberries on top expensive for almost $15 if you want a roasted beet, goat cheese salad go to the powerhouse! Me and my boyfriend came here before a movie and were seated immediately but ignored for 30 minutes while we knew what we wanted, our waiter took our order and our food arrived 45 minutes later...we had only ordered the flat bread with goat cheese. The venue is very modern and clean but very uncomfortable to be in as we were seated near other couples and could hear what they were saying and the waiter looked at us as if we were just another teenage couple. All in all would not go here again. Small portions for mediocre food and decent staff was not worth the 45$ spent on bread and lettuce. read more

So I gotta admit, the feel of this place is "get in, eat, and get out". The food is good, a bit pricing but what do you really expect from a restaurant that's "trying" to be something others have already perfected. We normally love Milestone's in general and this location as well. However, tonight's visit was not up to par. Food was good. Ambience was good. However, the server did not seem engaged with serving. There seems to be a new feature - dinner and a movie - which gives the patron a cineplex movie voucher. Unfortunately, I can't tell you more as the server did not draw our attention to this and we decided not to burden the server with trying to explain the program when we discovered it when we received the bill. One other point - we were not sure what to do with our winter coats. We were in a 2- person booth, but with no observable coat hooks we had to cuddle- up with the coats. Not a big deal, just odd. We'll be back and hopefully with the server up to the normal Milestone's standard. read more

My 9 year old daughter Nicole and I went for a girl's night out at milestones not long ago. it was a great dining experience and they treated her like a little lady rather then the child the parents had to bring. It made her feel special and she had a lot of fun. The food was great and the atmsophere relaxing. I will bring the rest of my family there in the future. read more

Visited this establishment, few months ago. First impressions, very posh, nice looking restaurant. That's where good revue ends. Had a party of 3. We were shown to the table right away as it wasn't busy. We sat there for 15 minutes waiting for the waitress, and finally got fed up and left. Will never return there again. read more

After ordering food we waited another 30 minutes before asking waitress when our meals would be ready. She went to check and came back apologising that nobody had put in our order. Ridiculous. Eight of us went here for dinner tonight, it took about twenty minutes to have our drink order taken. It took quite some time for the drinks to arrive. three of us ordered Cesar's, They were the worst Cesar`s all 3 of us had ever tasted, had to send them back and stick to beer and wine. The food order was finally taken after quite a wait. Three of us ordered the prime rib, the waitress came back 10 minutes later to inform one of us that there was only enough prime rib to fill two of the orders. Then about 15 minutes later came back to ask my wife if she was OK with the end cut or would she like a steak instead. The meals finally came after another 40 minutes, one member of our party had to ask if his dinner was meant to be cold? our vegetables were almost stone cold, the waitress informed us that they were supposed to be that way. The mashed potatoes were barely warm. the vegetables were mush. My prime rib was decent but very fatty. The Cesar salad was extremely small for the price and lacking enough dressing. The waitress remained very pleasant and apologetic. The kitchen staff seemed to be involved in very serious discussion's constantly, based on the expressions and the hand motions. I also caught one waitress mimicking one of our guests. It took an agonizing 3 hours to get through this dinner. Very disappointed with the food quality, the preparation time, and the extreme pricing for the quality received. read more

We ordered a beer and Bellini which was delicious as well as the calamari which was pretty good. It didn't have a ton of flavour but it was pretty good. Our salads were really good and very fresh. We ordered the white chocolate cheesecake to finish off our order and it was absolutely delicious! Overall a great night out. read more

Second time here and underwhelmed for a second time. Came in for Mother's Day brunch. Ordered the prime rib hash and it had no potatoes and was barely warm. I asked my server about the missing potatoes and her reply was "i don't think it comes with potatoes" she offered to bring me a side for a $2.99 charge, I think it was. While my food got colder I decided to go to the host stand and double check the menu and low and behold potatoes was the second item on the description. I returned to my table as she did with my potatoes and I told her that it says on the menu that it comes with potatoes. She said maybe they are mixed in ... seriously? I replied sternly as I pointed to my plate and said there are no potatoes in this. She told me she would tell the kitchen. I was literally the 3rd table in the restaurant and we ordered very fast I'm sure we were the first order of the morning ... no excuse! Then her and the manager walk past our table and the manager gives me side eye as he checks out my plate. He did not stop to apologize, nor did she. I ate half of my cold food and called it a day. When it came time to pay she brought me a bill with nothing but the 2.99 extra charge taken off. She became super nice and chatty clearly in order to save her tip. She deserved zero but I still tipped 20% Here is some advice, know your menu and learn how to deal with food errors ... like taking it back and having it corrected. OMG!!! Where have the KOBE beef sliders gone!!! I absolutely love this restaurant. I have my fav server (yah Jesse) and the Kobe sliders were to die for. Imagine my disappointment when I ordered tonight and was told they are no longer on the menu. Say it isn't so!!! Even the dipping sauce (absolutely awesome) is no longer available! I almost cried! I go to different restaurants to eat specific things and the only KObe sliders were here! Please bring them back or at least bring back the dipping sauce so when I have a regular burger I can try to pretend they are the Kobe beef. This an unpretentious restaurant with great stall and fabulous food...wher's the KOBE beef!!! read more

Went with another couple and had the date night special. Food was good, drink menu was underwhelming and the service was basic. There were about five other couples in the restaurant for dinner around 5pm, they sat everyone right beside each other in the back corner while the rest of the restaurant was empty and dead silent. I think this maDe everyone hyper aware of each other, (or that's how we felt) and we could hear anything and everything the other diners were saying to each other causing us to whisper the whole dinner. We asked to be reseated and they looked at us like we didn't have a good enough reason to move, so we felt uncomfortable enough to just stay. There were two waitresses and my best guess is they were trying to lump everyone together so that they could have less area to cover due to lack of staffing. I think 5pm is just before their dinner 'Rush' so they seemed less interested in us as a result of trying to get ready for the bulk of their customers later. We were also right in front of the kitchen which was annoying due to occasional loud clanging noises, not to mention, distracting because we heard everything they had to say too. On a bright note, everyone did enjoy the food, orders were right and the restaurant was very clean. I probably won't go back, not because of this experience alone but, it was pricey for what we received and nothing on their menu was exceptional. Many other restaurants have similar options with better prices and I am going to stick to the places I have had consistently better experiences at. read more

We ate here in January 2012 and had the worst service we have ever had. We sat at tables in the bar area and were promised the same level of service as in the dining room. Nothing could be further from the truth. In fact, no one would serve us at all. For some reason, no one would serve these 2 tables by the wall. We had to flag down other employees and ask them to send someone to help us. Eventually the bartender would come over, but clearly did not feel he should have to do this (although Milestones says that this is his responsibility). This total lack of service continued all night, and getting and paying the bill took forever. When I complained on the Milestones website, I promply received a call from management that appologized and said that they wanted my business and that they would send a gift card for us to come back. Nothing arrived. A differnet manager also promised $100 gift card, nothing arrived. After 2 more contacts, more promises, but no follow through. There are so many other places to eat that will take good care of you, avoid this one. No one cares. read more
