I cannot say enough good things about our waitress Rachael. Not only was she kind, attentive, and made our dining experience wonderful, but she went above and beyond in a way I will never forget. When a fire unexpectedly broke out, Rachael acted without hesitation and saved my children. Her quick thinking and bravery kept my family safe, and there are no words to truly express the gratitude we feel. (all jokes aside, she was great) read more

My rating is 3.5 stars. I'm rounding up. After taking in a matinee movie at Cineplex, I was hungry. I hadn't had lunch. I looked over and say Kelsey's. I decided to drive over. There were lots of parking spots in front of the restaurant at around 4 pm. I found a spot, parked, and walked into the restaurant. I waited a bit before someone came over to greet me. She then got a booth for me. Service is spotty in consistency. It took nearly fifteen minutes for a server to come over to my table to take my order. Weird. Anyway, I ordered a Diet Pepsi and the Creemore mushroom sirloin when she finally was there. Once my food came over, my server overcompensated by asking how things were roughly every fifteen minutes. Um, okay. My Diet Coke was refreshing. I liked that I did not get a straw. The downside is that you need to make sure that when you are chugging back an icy drink, the ice doesn't fall on your face or go up your nostrils. Another server came over with my sirloin steak. I was so happy to see food. I was so hungry. I thanked him and started to dig in. I got my steak medium well. It was perfect. I could subtly taste the Creemore beer in the mushroom sauce. It was so good. I love mushrooms. It had been ages since I ate a decent steak. I got a lot of vegetables. I went with a steamed medley of vegetables. They were yummy and seasoned nicely. They weren't overdone. I also got a side salad that tasted fresh. I got the balsamic dressing off to the side, which was perfect. Sometimes, balsamic vinegar burns when it goes down. This dressing didn't, which I enjoyed. I was so full from my meal that I could not squeeze in dessert. I asked my server for the bill. She was sweet. We talked about SCENE points and how we both feel that it's better to redeem them for movie tickets than a discount off food. I earned 20x the SCENE points on my meal. It helps to load offers through the app. The only negative part of my dining experience was another server deciding to draw the blinds. He didn't realize that the sunlight coming in after his action was blinding me. I shifted closer to the window to see again. The sun was setting and I was comfortable seeing roughly ten minutes later. I paid using a credit card. The machine worked well. Came on a busy Thursday evening before proceeding to watch a movie across the street. Waited about 20 minutes for a table of two which we were okay with because the hosts at the front warned us about. When we did a table our server was Ashley Z who was so sweet and accommodated us very well. We had a pan of nachos to start; they came with salsa and sour cream. They were like any other nachos you'd find however they could've used some more jalapeño peppers, but that's just my spicy preference. For our main dish we got the Burger 101 with one patty( there's options to have more) with fries and hot sauce on the side. I personally found the patty to be a bit dry but with the help of some condiments it was upgraded. The fries were a thick cut and fried well. We had Sunday lunch here after a long time away. The restaurant has been remodeled since our last visit, not to the improvement of the atmosphere. The dividing wall between the bar and the restaurant has been replaced by a lattice screen, allowing the noise from the bar to flood the restaurant - we could hardly hear ourselves talk and we probably won't be back because of that. Our waiter, Chris A, provided excellent service. I had the Grilled Cheese Sammy and it was one of the best I ever had - I'll definitely order that again. My wife judged her Rib & Wing Combo as excellent, too. Both of our meals were so generous, we took 1/2 home. read more

Really enjoyed this establishment. Went for dinner at around 6:30pm on a Saturday. Walked in. Waited for maybe a minute. One group ahead of me. I asked to sit out on the patio. Hostess said go right out and choose wherever you like. I really liked that. No wait. Got to select my own table outside. My waitress was good. She wasn't over bearing and always at the table. All and all I am extremely satisfied with the visit. Patio had good music as well. Did need to talk semi loud though, but so was everyone else. read more

Since there isn't an option for "0" stars we have given them 1. We attempted to dine at Kelsey's tonight. When we arrived they were very busy. No worries, it's Saturday night. Understandable. 40 minute wait. NP! We wait and finally they call us to tell us they have a booth but it only has the one booth side with no chairs or bench on the other side. We agree to have a look but unfortunately it was too awkward and uncomfortable. We ask if they can move us once a table becomes available. No they can't. The apparent manager says there is a booth open that just needs to be cleaned. We all start for that table and then are told "Oops no back to the waiting area for you there are people ahead of you." What??? If we don't want to wait in the waiting area we can wait in the bar area? We ask how long please? 40 more minutes. Seriously Kelsey's?? Not worth it. Thanks for nothing. We left as hungry as we arrived. Disappointed in your organization and hosting skills. read more

UPDATE: After a month of my visit I received a call from the manager apologizing for the wait and how long it took to respond. The reason was because he thought the other manager called me and the other manager thought that he had called me. Went in on a Saturday so expected a long line and me and 2 other had time to kill before a movie. Got our seats after 30-40 min wait. Friend 1 got a burger, boyfriend got chicken fettichini Alfredo,and i wanted the seafood lover pasta sans shrimp, waitress made a weird face and in a rather condescending voice " is it because of an allergy?" no i just don't like shrimp and if somethings cooked with it, everything else gets the taste. " well they are frozen together and they can't make it fresh without frozen" ( ok so frozen meals they probably microwave and serve not wowing me yet) ok then i'll have the salmon with mushrooms. So my food came no one really liked the food. salmon in dill sauce translates to tasteless fish slab with melted butter and a sprinkle of dill the mushrooms were the only decent thing i had there and even then were pretty bad I've emailed there main office was told i would hear back from manager in 2-3 days well it's been 3 weeks and nothing. Emailed main office again to let them know and nothing. I do not plan on going into this kelsey's again. if that's the way they want to do business let them do it with someone else. TLDR: frozen pre-packaged food, tasteless fish, melted butter and sprinkle of dill does not a sauce make. read more

Today we stopped at Kelseys for an early dinner. Normally we go on Thursday for the wings but today I was in the mood for a burger nothing fancy but something I can dig my teeth into. My wife went for the fish & advertised food truck style chips. My 2 pattie burger had some burnt marks on it that you would expect from charbroiled meat but it lacked any flavor. I could not get any juice to dribble out of the burgers on to my plate nothing. I had to add lots of ketchup so I wouldn't choke. My wife's fish was translucent not white inside so it wasn't cooked all the way through and the fries were kind of lack luster in taste, soggy. My daughter worked on a food truck all summer and these fries were no way near what they tasted like. Personal I don't care much for food truck food in a restaurant so I don't know the idea behind this form of advertising. Apart from the food the service and atmosphere are nice for family or couples going out. read more

Disappointed with the lack of solution for vegetarian customers. With only two options being soup and bread I reluctantly sat and watched as my friends enjoyed their meals. Even the salads consisted of meat and without an alternative option for protein, I'm asked to pay full price for food consisting of meat without even getting meat. Understanding my lifestyle choice has given me limited options for dinning I don't believe the waitresses lack of empathy for a customer in need of a solution for someone who doesn't eat meat should be any different than someone who feels choosing between the nachos and a burger is a dilemma. read more
