There was a green high apparatus that slowly moved up then sent bucketloads of water down. The force looked significant but Bud kept going back for more. This was not here or not operable the first time we came. This time they added photos of us into their system. Then we were issued our hot pink wrist bands. At the pool the lifeguard said no life vests allowed when he saw it on our beach bag. We stayed at the Baby pool but Bud must have wanted more action and said, "Let's go back to the Splash Pad."

Lots of beach chairs and it's usually not crowded. As for the room upstairs, it's a bit of a hassle to go from the room to the pool if the party has the option for guests to enjoy both. As with Rec3, this room is also tight with no stage. The room where people usually place tables for food is crammed and going upstairs is another hassle.. It was pretty tight inside when I attended some parties and baby showers.. but we made it work. I could slide in easily. However parents with strollers and pregnant mommies may feel uncomfortable. Especially transporting a new born upstairs. I would just take the car seat and diaper bag.. The parking lot is very tiny, so with any party, parking on the street in a residential area can be humbug sometimes..

7-15-22 Third time this week Bud asked to come. He enjoys the soaking mechanism at the Splash…read morePark and going to the big pool. He split our pool time to spend some time by the slides at the playground. Checking in with Mililani resident IDs gets us our wristbands. We seem to come at the height of the sun's strongest rays between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. It gives us a good 45 minutes of outdoor activity and the freedom of no masks for a little while. Fridays it opens later so it kinda throws off lunch and nap time but in the car ride home he took a little kitty nap. I'm not sure why little kids aren't allowed swim vests if they are not strong swimmers but there must be a good reason. I've seen between 1 to 3 life guards on duty at a time. Some more serious than others on watch. Saw for the first time a life guard testing the water in the baby pool and big pool then logging down his findings. Being at prime summer time more and more kiddies are seen at Rec 4 with grandparents or parents. If you time it right you can enjoy the 3 areas and leave when it starts to get crowded.

Why? Because they have the cutest splash park, playground, and a warm pool/kiddie pool. What they don't have is a water slide and shave ice/Starbucks, but no biggie, we can make do without. Anywho's, with lots of precautions and not much places i would take my infant to, we decided to celebrate his first birthday here. Limit of 10 people inside so we had to wait a long while. Good thing they were open pretty late, til 7pm! You need to have an MTA pass or go as a guest with someone who has and pay $10 per guest per day. It's street parking along the fence, facing the playground and splash park or anywhere you can find. But between those two is the entrance. Mask on when entering, exiting or when not in the water. No floaties allowed. Have fun!

The pool is beautiful with what looks like 3 lifeguards on duty. You can rent a pavilion for your own little enclave to picnic by bringing your own food and drinks supplemented by CPK pizza, salad, Mac & cheese for the kiddies. Starting to drizzle? Doesn't bother all the people in the pool. You can even purchase shave ice and coffee here. Hot fun in the summer time. This is the life. Hubs chose this venue for his birthday celebration with the grandkiddies. You know the nursery rhyme about Jack n Jill? Well... today hubs was Jack, not steady on his feet coming down the hill and took a big spill down the hill. Maybe he thought he was young at heart.

Pool is nice and heated/warm…read more Kiddie pool isn't heated/warm. For as long as I can remember, the pool doesn't look like it changed since I was in middle school. I attended a birthday pool party at night so all I can remember is the rectangular shape of it. The temperature control is a great enhancement! Location: Situated near Hanalani school. Nice size lot with an abundance of open stalls. Some stalls are not meant to be reversed in, there's a sign. Few vending machines for snacks and drinks. Lifeguard checks the chlorine level every so often. Pool toys seem to be allowed. I brought my sons pool rings and the lifeguard didn't say anything. Great pool overall. I'd come back on days I wouldn't want to risk the chance of swimming in an over crowded pool at the other recreation centers in the vicinity. Why I subtracted a star: Floaties aren't allowed. Including infant ones.. Lifeguard didn't even notice we were blowing it up because he was doing his job by watching those in the pool. I didn't see a sign either. A lady who clearly works at the rec center walked right past us and could have told me straight up. I won't bite.. But instead she told him and then the messenger came to us lol.

Mililani Rec 6 always does a great job with their annual Easter egg hunt…read more The field is loaded with plastic eggs with all sorts of goodies parents love to give their children, haha They allow 5 and under a small head start, but once the big kids are let loose the eggs flyyyyyy. Haha literally, it seems like a TON of eggs, but within a minute or two, the eggs are gone. All the kids also get an Easter goodie bag after the egg hunt. Then it's into the hall where there is an Easter Bunny for pictures, around 5 vendors with games and prizes, and a popcorn machine to top it offf. This year they also gave a Spaghetti Factory coupon for a free kids meal. We have come to this for the last few years and son son always loves it. The staff and everyone involved are all so friendly. Unfortunately for the masses, this is for Mililani town association members only. You also have to register a week prior to the event and slots go quick. Thank you Mililani Town Association and Rec 6 for putting on this event.

The walls are brick white, by the entrance you're able to set up a reception area, there are two steps and you are in the main area with the kitchen off to the left and a fire place as the focal point to the right. Multiple windowed doors leading out to the pool area. The Jacuzzi area is up a few stairs and several feet away from the pool. Large lounge area, bathrooms are very clean. The view is breath-taking when standing pool side. Lots of street parking. If you're looking to have a small intimate gathering, this would be the perfect place. Security can be seen doing their rounds, very secure. Attend a psychic event here, they created a beautifully serene environment. Also attended a passion party event and this venue blended well with that event too. Beautiful, well kept, stunning view, wonderful area and works well for any type of function.

Unable to find Center #5 I chose one to direct me to Mililani and realized that they're not next to each other and that are scattered throughout the town which is a nice convenience and yes it seems that each does offer something different besides location. What brought me here is the Mililani Town Association Autumn Festival Craft Fair and finding out one by one of the load of vendors that would be there was just too much of a tease to resist and besides I haven't been to any of the craft fairs down in Mililani and the convenience of running this event from 4pm to 9pm works so perfectly with my work schedule even after getting lost and getting there a bit late, parking was a total breeze so much free parking...more than enough even offering offsite area to park as well was nice. Housing majority of the craft vendors were inside the venue area was very spacious and kept us out of the sprinkles of rain which also has a bathroom was very spacious and was amazed how many vendors this place could hold. Outside there were a few food vendors one truck there rest were in tents along with a small tented seating area to enjoy your food and a couple hightop round bar type tables to just have a place to enjoy your bites as well as a nice and thoughtful touch to make this event a place that everyone can enjoy and it all seem like delightful start to the fall season. You must have a current Mililani Town Association membership consisting of a digital bar code to obtain your wrist bands to enjoy the Splash area and the separate pool area. There is a rope at the 4 feet depth. Two life guards are on duty. One life guard was seriously watching her post while another one was socializing with another lifeguard his eyes on her and not the kiddies in the water. Like they say, always be an arms reach away from your child in the water. There are umbrellaed tables and some benches in the pool area and benches around the Splash area. Be prepared to get misted on depending on which way the breeze is blowing. It's good to see improvements made to Rec 4 for families to enjoy. The women's restroom has two curtained shower stalls. Can't tell you about the men's side. Have a nice summer.

The path is paved, wide, and stroller/ tricycle/ scooter-friendly, so it works well for both adults and kids. The whole place has a calm, welcoming vibe. There are enough people around that it doesn't feel empty, but never crowded. There are several playgrounds scattered along the loop, which makes them great "pit stops" if you're there with kids. The playgrounds aren't brand new, but they're in decent condition and set on rubber flooring. They're perfect for active toddlers and slightly older kids. Our two-year-old can enjoy the slides and smaller features without it feeling overwhelming or dangerous. The only thing I wish is that there were a few more benches near the playgrounds for parents to sit and relax. The park itself is beautiful, with lots of trees providing shade and greenery that stays fresh even in the hotter months. Lately, the flowering trees have been blooming with pinkish-yellow blossoms. There are also picnic tables and restrooms available (didn't check the restrooms personally, but they're there).
