''Twas a good funday chillin pool side with the ohana. First time and it sure won't be the last! My family and I are waterbugs and will definitely plan on our next visits at this location. The facility is fairly new, but still in tip top shape. Let me just say this one time with a big emphasis on IT HAS A STARBUCKS! How cool is that!? Got my pink drink and chilled for a bit before jumping in the pool. I'm not big on coffee or caffeine but I thought that having a Starbucks is amazing for mommies who barely get any rest and want to burn off the kids energy at the pool. Obey pool rules. It's simple and clearly stated on the entrance gate. Doesn't ask for much from you aight. It's a must to rinse off before getting in. Why? I have no clue, but it's a rule. Once you've got that step out of the way, you're welcome to slide right on in using the stairs of course. And by golly will you be amazed at how warm the pool is. There is a jacuzzi and another mini pool on the other side of the pool when entering. About 5 table benches scattered and some chairs to place your belongings on if the tables are taken. No pool lounge chairs though. Bathrooms are next to the showers. Great for mini birthday parties. There are 4 small pavilions on the outer rim of the pool but blocked off by a fence. Each pavilion was booked when we went. The pool was a bit too crowded but now we know it's certainly a hot spot for MTA card holders. 2 lifeguards on duty but the third one just so happen to show up when mostly everyone but 3 small families including us stayed LOL! Perfect timing dude. No complaints about the lifeguards though, the ladies were very attentive and alert when little ones were playing on the rail or running. Uh hello parents, do you not know the basic safety pool rules? To end our visit, we picked up an ice cream sandwich and some shave ice on our way out. We shared a small tropical candy and vanilla flavored shave ice with ice cream, YUM! As of right now, I pray the prices won't change!

They sell shave ice now

Hey, if you are an MTA resident and have a membership card, you should definitely explore Rec. 7! Don't wait any longer or else you'll be missing out! The main attraction here is the heated swimming pool that is handicap accessible. This pool is perfect for families to enjoy year round. In addition to the pool, there is a mini jacuzzi for those in need of a little bubbly for some relaxation and a wading pool "just right" for the tiny ones. Surrounding the pools, there are umbrella tables and lounge chairs that are spread out on deck for families to use. Aside from the pools, there is an indoor gym and an Internet/Entertainment Lounge. In this lounge, there are leather couches, tables and chairs, a flat screen t.v., computer stations with FREE wi-fi, a ping pong table and a little area to play games. If you haven't known, Rec 7 is the newest kid on the block and it seems to get better with age.As the years go on, they keep re-inventing themselves! Since they've open, the birth of BBQ pavilions with its own picnic area, a new covered lanai with tables and chairs, a newly renovated playground and a Cafe that sells Starbucks drinks, pastries and shave ice has just been added. So, go on and make some time to chill out with family and friends at Rec 7! You'll thank me for that!

I'm really impressed by this location! It's such a nice facility! I love that there is a cafe that sells Starbucks and shave ice! What a hit for the kiddies (and me) after a fun time on the playground and pool you can enjoy some cold treats! Lots of covered seating by the playground too! There's a lot of space for the kids to run around and a nice grassy hill that kids can slide down on cardboard boxes. There's a nice basketball court and an Internet cafe. Perfect location for parties, there are grills and nice little tables I believe you can rent? They also have water and ice machines so no need to buy bag of ice at the market before having a party here. Very convenient! The Rec centers are one thing that I love about Mililani and this one is my favorite location, will definitely come here more often!

The pool and there's a jacuzzi in the right

This recreation center is towards the top of Mililani Mauka and it is the best of the 7 recreation centers in Mililani or Mililani Mauka. Tons of parking for events or for those that live in Mauka to go to the pool, jacuzzi, basketball and bbq picnic with the little kids playground. They have a Starbucks inside this rec center. They do not accept Starbucks giftcard and they do not accept the Starbucks phone app. They do accept credit/debit or cash and they have some (about half or so) of the different drinks from Starbucks. This rec center expanded by adding the bbq picnic bench areas beyond the pool. Each station has sinks and bbq grill and it looks very new. I went to a friend's son birthday party there and we had the whole picnic area to ourselves since it was rented out. Great facility with free Wifi that you need to connect to MTA guest and open up your internet to accept the internet guidelines and you'll be connected to the wifi

The hangout room

Mililani recreational center 7 is definitely a hangout spot to consider. They have a gym, Internet cafe and a mini starbucks here along with the obvious pool. I'll break this down into categories for organization. Internet/Entertainment room. This room is great, a place you might find me on a hot weekend just relaxing. They have leather couches that recline and numerous computer stations (Linux software). There is also a ping-pong table in here that is very popular. A very large flat panel TV occupies the main wall and there are even boardgames for the kids. Starbucks outlet This doesn't have a full Starbucks menu obviously but it has enough for a relaxing afternoon at the pool, the service here is great too, they have some snacks and if they don't have what you like they can break large bills for you so you can use the vending machines across from them. Pool The pool. . .I mean. . .it's a pool, a hole in the ground with water in it but it's a good hole in the ground with water in it. The pool is more of a lap pool design that is shallow at both ends but deeper in the middle and is very easily handicap accessable via a ramp along one side. Party area The outdoor party area looks great and includes a playground surrounded by a vast grassy field, I'm told the equipment can get very hot in peak sunlight hours though so make sure you do the hand test before letting your kids play on it. Showers and Bathrooms Aside from the newly modified facilities at Rec.2 I'd rate these the best kept of the Rec. centers. Gym A standard wooden floored basketball court, not much to say about that.

Don't worry parents, your little ones are safe because the pools have life guards. Oh wait...the single lifeguard on duty is on his phone!

We're at Rec 7 several times a week-mostly because my children attend Mililani 'Ike Elementary School which is across the street-but sadly it doesn't mean we love it. Don't get me wrong, it's a great place: swimming pool with a separate kiddie pool, hot tub, BBQ pavilions that can be rented, a playground, Internet cafe that serves Starbucks beverages and local pastries, indoor basketball court, and a decent sized grassy area for the kids to run around or grass sled. Sounds good, right? Well...in theory it is. However, they operate like the Fun Police. I get it. Rules are for safety but let's remember that this is a family place where we bring our children for safe fun activities. When entering the building all Mililani Town Association card holders must sign in; completely understandable. However on numerous occasions when entering with several other families staff have made rude comments about the number of people entering at one time, even once saying "thank goodness you all don't come everyday." Another staff member actually sharply whistled and yelled out to ask how many kids each family had. Ummmm, we are standing in line to sign in and will log in how many guests we have just as the log asks. My second gripe is the pool (and all other MTA pools) is not the feasible for families with multiple children as no floatations devises are allowed, not even life vests. They claim floatations devises are a distraction to the life guards and they won't be able to see if an individual is drowning, but life vests are compact and close to the body. I have 3 young children, ages 3, 6 and 8 years old, and since only 1 can swim well I can't bring them swimming unless my husband is around. My final complaint is there are only 2 benches and NO picnic tables in the playground area. Parents often sit in the hot sun on the floor or 100 feet away in the shade. At least they now allow us to use the grass! I still can't believe that for years there were "keep off the grass signs." Despite all....we always have a blast and will continue to do so for years to come at Rec 7!

Beautiful and fragrant gardenias on the grounds!

Since we moved to Mililani Mauka a little over a month ago, we were finally able to join the Rec Center. Rec 7 is closest to where our house is and we've taken the kids twice to enjoy swimming in the pool. We really had a good time and it wasn't crowded! We also love the cafe where they sell Starbucks drinks (too bad thy only accept cash and not the Starbucks app), pastries and shave ice!! They have a comfy area with computers, a basketball court and pavilions to reserve when you want to bring guests ($10 per person!) and bbq. The MTA rec centers have independent contractors offering many different activities for all ages and we are considering several options for my boyfriend's kids. We will definitely make use of the 7 rec centers since we're here for two years!!

Love this location. Sometimes very busy and lap lanes are full (only 2) so a little wait. Son loves the little pool. There's a basketball court and a nice jungle gym. Fun for the whole family.

There was a green high apparatus that slowly moved up then sent bucketloads of water down. The force looked significant but Bud kept going back for more. This was not here or not operable the first time we came. This time they added photos of us into their system. Then we were issued our hot pink wrist bands. At the pool the lifeguard said no life vests allowed when he saw it on our beach bag. We stayed at the Baby pool but Bud must have wanted more action and said, "Let's go back to the Splash Pad."

I love the new renovations to the pool! And I feel much safer swimming here knowing that my cousin…read moreis the lifeguard with another pair of eyes on the kiddies I bring. Lots of beach chairs and it's usually not crowded. As for the room upstairs, it's a bit of a hassle to go from the room to the pool if the party has the option for guests to enjoy both. As with Rec3, this room is also tight with no stage. The room where people usually place tables for food is crammed and going upstairs is another hassle.. It was pretty tight inside when I attended some parties and baby showers.. but we made it work. I could slide in easily. However parents with strollers and pregnant mommies may feel uncomfortable. Especially transporting a new born upstairs. I would just take the car seat and diaper bag.. The parking lot is very tiny, so with any party, parking on the street in a residential area can be humbug sometimes..

He split our pool time to spend some time by the slides at the playground. Checking in with Mililani resident IDs gets us our wristbands. We seem to come at the height of the sun's strongest rays between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. It gives us a good 45 minutes of outdoor activity and the freedom of no masks for a little while. Fridays it opens later so it kinda throws off lunch and nap time but in the car ride home he took a little kitty nap. I'm not sure why little kids aren't allowed swim vests if they are not strong swimmers but there must be a good reason. I've seen between 1 to 3 life guards on duty at a time. Some more serious than others on watch. Saw for the first time a life guard testing the water in the baby pool and big pool then logging down his findings. Being at prime summer time more and more kiddies are seen at Rec 4 with grandparents or parents. If you time it right you can enjoy the 3 areas and leave when it starts to get crowded.

Why? Because they have the cutest splash park, playground, and a warm pool/kiddie pool. What they don't have is a water slide and shave ice/Starbucks, but no biggie, we can make do without. Anywho's, with lots of precautions and not much places i would take my infant to, we decided to celebrate his first birthday here. Limit of 10 people inside so we had to wait a long while. Good thing they were open pretty late, til 7pm! You need to have an MTA pass or go as a guest with someone who has and pay $10 per guest per day. It's street parking along the fence, facing the playground and splash park or anywhere you can find. But between those two is the entrance. Mask on when entering, exiting or when not in the water. No floaties allowed. Have fun!

Unable to find Center #5 I chose one to direct me to Mililani and realized that they're not next to each other and that are scattered throughout the town which is a nice convenience and yes it seems that each does offer something different besides location. What brought me here is the Mililani Town Association Autumn Festival Craft Fair and finding out one by one of the load of vendors that would be there was just too much of a tease to resist and besides I haven't been to any of the craft fairs down in Mililani and the convenience of running this event from 4pm to 9pm works so perfectly with my work schedule even after getting lost and getting there a bit late, parking was a total breeze so much free parking...more than enough even offering offsite area to park as well was nice. Housing majority of the craft vendors were inside the venue area was very spacious and kept us out of the sprinkles of rain which also has a bathroom was very spacious and was amazed how many vendors this place could hold. Outside there were a few food vendors one truck there rest were in tents along with a small tented seating area to enjoy your food and a couple hightop round bar type tables to just have a place to enjoy your bites as well as a nice and thoughtful touch to make this event a place that everyone can enjoy and it all seem like delightful start to the fall season. Thank you!

The path is paved, wide, and stroller/ tricycle/ scooter-friendly, so it works well for both adults and kids. The whole place has a calm, welcoming vibe. There are enough people around that it doesn't feel empty, but never crowded. There are several playgrounds scattered along the loop, which makes them great "pit stops" if you're there with kids. The playgrounds aren't brand new, but they're in decent condition and set on rubber flooring. They're perfect for active toddlers and slightly older kids. Our two-year-old can enjoy the slides and smaller features without it feeling overwhelming or dangerous. The only thing I wish is that there were a few more benches near the playgrounds for parents to sit and relax. The park itself is beautiful, with lots of trees providing shade and greenery that stays fresh even in the hotter months. Lately, the flowering trees have been blooming with pinkish-yellow blossoms. There are also picnic tables and restrooms available (didn't check the restrooms personally, but they're there).
