When I first walked up, I was impressed with the building itself. Most military museums I've been to that aren't federally funded are old and a little worn down. Not this spot! The updates are clear when even just driving up, and that is just the beginning. Well kept, and with volunteers running the show even on a Tuesday during school time, this place shines for its love of history and keeping it current. I was absolutely impressed with the aircraft and the exhibits; even the gift shop had awesome selection! It seems a little pricy perhaps at first, but it was absolutely worth it. We will be back to see the flights; who cares it's a haul from Hampton!

I booked a ride on the '41 Stearman biplane. It was a once-in-a-lifetime experience!!! I can't tell anybody enough about what a truly magic time it was. Everybody should do this. And folks should continue to support this national treasure facility. This place is fabulous. The staff is very very proud to both maintain and show off these irreplaceable machines. Please go see for yourself!!! Take your whole family.

What a nice place to visit. I was amazed with how big it was, filled with actual planes that are in working condition. There was so much history in there along with a guide that would walk you through a "tour" of the place. We were also fortune to see a few of the planes being shifted around. We had our 4 year old with us and she even enjoyed the time although I would recommend some type of trolly because you will be walking quite a bit especially if you want to check out the WW1 and 2 wings. Overall, this is a great place to take the family, for veterans or anyone that wanted to change up the pace and have something interesting to explore.

The Military Aviation Museum is an interesting stop for aviation enthusiasts. It features a collection of historic aircraft and informative exhibits. While it's informative, the experience can feel a bit dry for those not deeply interested in aviation.

Spent the day at this awesome little museum with my job SKYDIVE SUFFOLK in support of the WOUNDED WARRIORS/ USO jump over the Virginia Beach. The location is great! They have so many amazing planes and artifacts that kids of all ages can enjoy. The volunteers there are very knowledgeable and friendly. Our team had a great day there helping some wounded warriors with jumps and I feel like the museum is as the perfect setting. For the kids they have a few interactive exhibits as well as a good amount of planes to climb in. Certain days they actually have air shows during the summer - so I would check their web pages for the actual times and dates. Great little gift shop as you walk in as well. On the property as you first come in they have some really cool Dino statues and a water fountain that's cool to check out. Definitely think it's a place all kids should go!!

I recently visited the Military Aviation Museum in Virginia Beach and was blown away by the incredible collection of vintage aircrafts on display. The museum host events for the community like the Cova Battle of the Burgers. It is an event by Coastal Virginia magazine that happens annually. Aside from that my life as a homeschool mom, brought my family and I here to gain more knowledge on the World War I and II airplanes. The museum is beautifully curated and the staff are incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about aviation history. The dinosaur park at the entrance is a can't miss. According to the website the cost is as stated: "Members - Free WWII & Korea War Veterans - Free Adults - $15.00 Youth (ages 6-17) - $7.50 Child 5 & under - Free Seniors (65+) - $13.00 Active Duty, Retired Military and dependents - $12.00 Groups of 10 or more: Adults - $13.00 Youth (ages 6-17) - $6.00" One of the highlights of my visit was seeing the museum's collection of World War II-era planes, including a fully restored P-51 Mustang and a B-25 Mitchell bomber. The attention to detail in the restoration work is truly impressive and it's clear that the museum staff take great pride in preserving these important pieces of history. In addition to the aircraft displays, the museum also offers a variety of educational programs and events for visitors of all ages. I highly recommend checking out the flight demonstrations and guided tours, which provide a fascinating look into the world of military aviation. Overall, I had a fantastic experience at the Military Aviation Museum and would highly recommend it to anyone with an interest in aviation history. It's a must-visit destination for anyone visiting Virginia Beach! I can't wait to go again. On memorial day veterans and military families that are members of usaa get to see the USAA Poppy exhibit and enter the museum free from May 26-29th!

Low cost entry for your aviation enthusiast. The volunteers at the museum were awesome! You get so up close and next to all the replicas! My son absolutely loved this museum. They do have a couple planes that are originals. We spent over 3 hours here with the tour included. Multiple hangars. They also rebuilt a watch tower on the property. It's a little far out from Virginia Beach, tucked away in a field but so worth it! Don't forget to check out the museums gift shop!

I have a friend who volunteers here and he is a retired Captain. Gave my group THE BEST tour I think anyone could. Loved all his story telling and historical facts. This was my most favorite experience. This is an amazing collection of historical planes, buildings and vehicles. If you do a self guided tour , that is also nice. My husband and I have done a lot of these. The guided tour was by far THE BEST from the Captain. He is a fantastic friend and his story telling is my favorite. I love his first hand stories. WE have been to special events. I highly recommend you do this. It is pricey but they have reenactment of historical people and groups. They have unbelievable historical airshows. Hot air balloon rides. 1950's & 1940's singers. They have dancing and a lot of food and drink. I consider this the event of the year

My family and I had a great time at the museum. We loved seeing the old airplanes and the special exhibition on the flight jackets. We wished we'd of gotten to see the control tower. The exhibition on German planes was pretty good, and we found a special inscription on a hangar beam from a forced labor worker.

Sorry.... We spent about $50 to get in, definitely not worth it. Not to exciting. If you served during WWII you'll get in free. PRO: Free parking Elevator CONS: Price Not many exhibits Airplane simulator didn't work

Outstanding collection of planes, mostly in flyable condition, from the first 50 years of aviation. The main museum had two hangars, and there is a guided tour of a triple hangar and then a German hangar (both the building and planes are museum exhibits) and a reassembled British watch office all alongside a 5000' grass airstrip. So many planes! Docents are knowledgeable and enthusiastic. Exhibits are described clearly and concisely by well-researched signs. We spent 3 hours, which was just barely enough time to scan the entire collection. Admission $17 for adult, and totally worth it. More oriented toward adults than kids, because planes are "look but don't touch". Free parking, and nice picnic area nearby (amid the dinosaurs and fountain).

At first, it seems like this museum is pretty small. The indoor exhibit area isn't huge, but it's interesting. The real treat is the hangar space- they have a massive collection of old war birds and a great volunteer staff. If you're uncomfortable with prominently displayed Nazi imagery or you have young children, prepare to have that conversation and/or avoid visiting the German hangar. I think this place is fantastic, but they are not sensitive in their displays of symbols of violence. It is my only quibble with an excellent institution. Be aware of special events here! Every year they put on a great air show the weekend before Memorial Day weekend called War Birds Over the Beach. If you're into old planes, historical re-enactment, and/or 20th century conflicts, you can't miss it. You never know when you'll see the last of its kind take to the air. They bring in musical performers with historical repertoires and food trucks for the weekend and they throw a dance with a live big band. You'll come across people dressed like they walked out of a fleet of time machines, so it's a great time to pull out your rockabilly dress or your flight suit. Parking is free and there's plenty of it.

I attended a friends wedding last month and what a shock at how big the back yard is to hold a very large wedding. They offered front yard parking and have their own "getting ready" house for the bridal party along with guest bathrooms instead of porter potties. I also saw the fenced in pool area which is great for those that were staying in the B&B part. There were plenty of tree coverage from the harsh sun without seeming like you're in the woods. This B&B is perfectly tucked away in Pungo far from the hustle and bustle of virginia beach for a quiet get away.

The wedding was beautiful of course, despite the unfortunate weather conditions. Lots of heavy rain. There was a Pergola that had the tented covering but really did not have enough room, but we made the best of it. But I am warning you, DO NOT NOT BOOK YOUR WEDDING HERE!!!! Honestly the wedding was beautiful, and even though it was unfortunate that we were pretty much stuck in the tent the whole night because of how bad the weather was AND you had to walk in the pouring rain and come back completely drenched (approx 200 ft away from the tent. Side note: Your guests will have just the one single men's and one single women's bathroom, outside. No access to inside the villa what so ever. And toilet paper will not be guaranteed the whole night, as NO ONE attended to the bathrooms) it was still a beautiful wedding. It's really not the wedding that's important, it's the marriage. But let's face it, if you're going to spend the money, you want it to be as perfect as you can make it. So back to the venue, the people that own/operate this place are horrendous. The host, "Ms Peti" was rude, condescending, and a two-faced liar!! She made so many promises to my brother and SIL and did not keep her end of the bargain. At the beginning, before signing the contract she was the sweetest little lady, but after the contracts were signed and deposits were in, she was a whole different person! That's when she brings up all the "rules" of their villa. Rules that were not mentioned when we viewed the venue. They were very strict about everything, cant decorate the way you want, can't use any kind of tape or nails anyway... the list goes on. Their wedding was on a Sunday and there was a wedding the night before, so the earliest we could decorate was at 9am the day of the 3pm wedding. So we were already crunched for time, with having to do everything (table/chair set up, decor, etc). It's bad enough that they will not help at all, "Peti" would hover over the set up crew and tell them, "don't do this", "don't do that", "my husbands getting pissed of that y'all are hanging things on that tree"..... keep in mind everyone was already on edge not knowing what the weather was going to rbe like the time of the ceremony, and that we really didn't have much time. Also, my SIL mentioned to "Peti" prior to the day of the wedding that she would like to keep the wedding cake in the main villa, as it is cooler in there than the bridal suite. Ms. Peti had no problem with it and gave her permission to do so. The day of the wedding, the most important day, the day the bride was already on the edge.... Ms. Peti goes back on her word and tells her she needs to just keep it in the bridal suite because she doesn't feel like opening the door to the villa and she had errands to run. "Errands to run"???? This was acting she was just doing them a favor "borrowing" the place, I think she forgot that they payed her $6000 to rent her property. So anyhow, the cake had to be stored in the bridal suite. The same place that the whole bridal party was getting ready. The same place where hair spray and other products were being sprayed everywhere!!!! A $400 cake! To top it off, approximately an hour before the wedding, Im guessing Ms. Peti came back from running her personal errands, she comes barging into the bridal suite yelling at everyone to stop opening and closing the door. She said we were letting all the cool air out and she didn't feel like hearing the bride complain about how hot it was in there. 1st of all, the bride was not complaining about it being hot, she simply wanted the cake to be stored in the main villa where it was cooler, like previously agreed upon. Also, BEWARE. This is strictly a venue. Over $6000 for just a VENUE, nothing is included besides the tables and chairs that you must take out of the shed and set up and put back on your own. No help from the owners what so ever they will not lift a finger or lend a hand at all. Also remember you are responsible for clean up and throwing away the trash at the end of the evening. If your dream wedding is a backyard wedding, book somewhere else, anywhere else!!!! There are plenty of other people with beautiful backyards that will treat you much kinder and appreciate your hard earned money more!!! BTW, I rarely leave bad reviews, I would just hate for anyone else to give this terrible woman any more of their hard earned money and to try and ruin one of the most special days in their lives.

I believe this place is fairly new, because I so remember something else being in this spot some years ago. However, I could be wrong, but let's focus on present day... I was invited to a 50th birthday celebration here last Saturday. I had a general idea of where the place was located since I am sorta familiar with the area being a native and all. But we arrived close to 7pm and everything was all set up. My friend advised us to arrive at 6:45pm because it was a surprise party for her husband... so we popped in and everything was in tact. Even the workers were on their post awaiting to great the guest and provide service. I especially loved seeing this! I don't know about you, but I have been places where people are still setting up or put the early arrival guest in a waiting area until the main area is set. Well not at 757 events, they were on point!! I can be long winded when writing reviews, but I like to give yall an experience and feel how I felt when I visited. Especially, since this is the first review... This place is really all the rage!! Not too big of a event space, but just the right size to entertain a group of 100 maybe more. But a few tables were set up along with a few cocktail tables... a club lounge vibe it gave. I believe the owner decorate the spot, so my friend gave a vision and it came to life last Saturday night. Another big plus... the owner catered the event. The buffet set up is away from the party people... I loved this!!! I didn't have to worry about smelling like food or even the venue smelling like food! The bar set up... another big plus!! I believe the bartender was set up through the owner and he was on point too. Even though he was a one man show, he kept the drinks flowing... no complaints, all smiles!! Now the parking lot is rather small. I did not notice if more parking was behind the building. But if you arrive early enough no worries here, as we did. Overall, this place is gorgeous and far as I can see ran properly and with love! You can tell whoever is behind this, loves what they do. Also wear comfortable, breathable clothing because you put on headgear/goggles, a microphone, a vest, wrist sensors, and ankle sensors. It's not a time to be looking all cute . Be sure to have a team name in mind because they will ask you for one! You also get a handle you can create individually so your stats show up after the game indicating your accuracy, kills, and points if you do the DEADWOOD ZOMBIE games -- which I highly recommend. SO. FUN!!!! Arrive 15 minutes early (or more) because you need to find parking. Parking can be expensive -- just don't do the open lot close to Only Renee's; that one was crazy pricey when we checked. You can have a max of 6 players in a game. If you have less than 6, there's a possibility randos could join you. Fortunately, we did not -- we only had 3 in our group. I tell you, I was screaming my head off in DEADWOOD VALLEY. I'm surprised my friend and sister did not tell me to shut up. I was LOUD. When you finish playing you have an opportunity to do a back-to-back game for 20% off, which my sister and I did. We went for Squid Games, which was entertaining. The ones we played had 5 different mini-games -- somewhat similar to the show, some modified. I tell ya though, I had challenges getting back up from the floor when I fell because of the sensory balls that jut from your ankle bracelets. Staff were friendly and patient. Zeke was our original host -- he took the time to brief us on equipment and the rules. There was a slight hiccup where my sister's and my friend's avatars got mixed up. They were going to correct it, but we didn't want to lose play time re-doing the pics. If you're celebrating a birthday they do this cool thing -- I'll add that later because we're celebrating another friend's birthday soon and I don't want to give it away. Sandbox VR is a great addition to the area! I love it when something new from other larger states comes to our area for a variety of recreational activities! We did a 2:15PM appointment. The set up is unreal it feels like you're in a movie when it comes to those set ups where they put the people in the suits to do the motion of any animation but instead it's with your VR set and you have ankle sensors as well as wrist sensors to be able to control your movement throughout the games that you choose and they have a variety of game choices. We did squid game and I personally think that that was a 10 out of 10 is definitely one of those things where you feel like you're part of the game in the series with some of the games being similar to what they did in the squid game and others more of virtual reality scheme of what is inspired by the series itself. Our Guide was very helpful and reassuring safety protocols and give us the rundown of the experience and what possible motions like falling down or you might feel vibrations and it goes for any of the other games depending on which ones do you choose and all their stimulations are online for you to book and you can book them at any time and they are hours are early morning to late evening so this is perfect for those that want to do some fun, fun nativity throughout the day or even the evening. And you can check in before you get there to make it easier. that what we did and we were able to get started as soon as possible with no wait time. There is a disclosure on their booking site. That says you may be grouped with other people we actually got lucky where we didn't have any anybody else besides us too, so the game was actually easier for us to do and they do know that the more the merrier the more challenging is because everyone has headsets there are noise cancellation so you can only hear what you hear through the mic from the group that you're with and the person that is your assistance if you need anything. And the cool thing about this experience alone is after you are done you actually get to take home a video of your experience and variations. We were able to get like a three part videos of us in split version as well as it a trailer of our overall experience and this was included with the price itself, which was for us $60 each and it can get higher than that depending on how many people you have their price range from$60 to $100+ dollars, but it's definitely worth experience and we will definitely be back again for another experienced. this time will do strange things and they do have other ones that are more family friendly options so it's definitely for everybody all age groups and I would say add this to your bucket list. If you're a person that likes to experience virtual reality plus play your favorite game or experience your favorite series on the TV network..
