Then I met my husband who was in the military and was swept away to a new state. I didn't want to sell my beloved home. So we talked about renting and heard advertisements for renters warehouse on the radio and decided to give it a shot. It was GREAT! So easy! The person that came by looked at the home, assessed it, took pictures, put it online and in less than a month I had tenants! If anything goes wrong with my property Renters Warehouse informs me right away of the issue, they give me the option to use my own vendor if I'd like (which I don't, I just use whomever they recommend and so far have had great success) and it is fixed in no later than a week! My HOA is constantly having me power wash the home area, or re-paint the door, or fix this and that and renters warehouse has it done, with pictures to show, in under two weeks! Way more than enough time to send the images off to the HOA before I get a second nastygram from them, haha. Renters warehouse is beyond reasonably priced for the peace of mind they give me in maintaining my property. I HIGHLY recommend them to anyone renting in Virginia!!

In my opinion, this feels like the equivalent of strong-arm robbery. What makes this even more frustrating is that the previous property management company never charged fees like this. If the property owner decided to switch management companies, why should tenants suddenly be forced to absorb additional costs that never existed before? I did not choose to change property managers, yet I'm expected to pay extra simply because they took over. Charging tenants hundreds of dollars for minimal administrative changes feels excessive, unfair, and completely unnecessary. A lease renewal should not come with a costly fee when the agreement is essentially the same as the previous year with only updated dates and terms. I'll post a copy of all these the fees they charge and you not believe it!!! Renters Warehouse is nothing more than fast food property management. If you cross a piece of property and this company is managing it stay away from them!!

They inflated charges to put against our deposit return and also lied about having work done just to take more money from our deposit. They dont fix anything washer machine broke i replaced it and left it in the unit. I should have taken it with me! The hvac system had issues i paid over $600+ electric bill for 3 months no one ever tried to help when I reached out to them to tell them about the bills. Also when you leave they will send a list of approved companies and tell you dont clean the house that they will clean the house carpets and dryer vent. The company ragdollz cleaning is owned by a lady name martha and her son albert. They will tell you one price $325. And then come into a empty house and complain about cleaning and add extra charges and move extra slow! Before you know it she will say it was a 500+ cleaning and charge it to keyrenters who will take that from your security deposit! Dont waist your time or money with them! Keyrenters also They charge $200 for dryer vent cleaning $200 for carpet cleaning even after i just paid $200 for the carpet cleaning but because it wasnt from a company on their list specifically they tried to play in my face saying it needed to be redone. Sent an invoice for carpets a month later from the same morning i called and work wasn't even done! But supposedly it needed to be done and taken out my deposit! They charged me 510 for gutter cleaning. Thats a homeowner responsibility! The lease will have a section where it states anything not listed here will be a tenant responsibility thats how they get around charging for stuff. Just beware they want money and thats it! And the 64$ benefits package is a joke they send one filter a month and the only way you get pest control is if you call and request but your being charged every month regardless. If you want to see less than half of your security deposit or none of it at all rent with them! Left the house soo good i paid $900 after getting the professional clean walls patched and carpets cleaned and we even helped with painting. Just to have $900+ taken from me.

    If your a tenant, if you don't have to than absolutely do not rent from this company!! I just left…read morea rental that was completely overpriced for its condition and nothing ever worked! I complained for two years that the A/C wasn't working right and despite them sending the same unhelpful guy out they never did anything to fix it. Finally broke down and bought window units. Took barely warm (cold during the winter) showers for over a year because they wouldn't follow up with the "warranty company". When my heat wouldn't come on this past winter they FINALLY replaced the hot water tank. I was so happy I cried. The dishwasher had been broken for three weeks when I left. The place was dirty when I moved in and in terrible shape. Carpets had stains on them, walls had crayon on them from the last tenant, blinds were broken, lights weren't working. Took me complaining for a month after I moved in to get them to do anything about it. However even though they take their sweet time... you better not be late with that rent. Be late over 5 days and they send you a nice pay within 14 days or get out letter. And get ready for that late fee! They are heartless and rude. Will fix things cheaply and only to get you to be quiet and pay rent. I'm sure they will blame this on me but I had to say something. Looking forward to getting screwed over on my security deposit.

Mr. Keffer was always responsive to my emails and phone calls. In 2017, I started looking for a home to purchase. After 3 fails with someone from a different company, I paused my search. I had already put in my notice at the condo and Mr. Keffer was able to work his magic and convince the owner to allow me to go month to month. I decided to start my search again and went with John Keffer as my realtor. Hands down, 100% different experience. As this was my first time purchasing a home, John made it very easy for me and if there was a problem that popped up, he had the solution before he even discussed it with me. I closed on time and he held my hand throughout the entire process. I'm sure that was no easy task for him. Thanks to John and Keffer Realty, this single mom has a beautiful home and my 7 year old daughter loves it. I highly recommend Keffer Realty. They are honest, knowledgeable and compassionate. It is a rare find when you have all three of those qualities.

    a family company full of heartless scammers. they don't care about you, just your money. you better…read morepray you don't have any unexpected financial hardships because they aren't flexible at all when it comes to money. they try to make up excuses for all their 1 star reviews basically saying the same thing about the company. very inconsistent as well as the landlord didn't even sign like 3 areas on my lease. Never even sent me an updated lease when it renewed or when they updated any information. dont hire real maintenance men, just handy men that have learned skills. had inconsistent hot water over a month. Finally got a new water heater and when the water was still getting cold, I told them and they finally hired a real plumber to come out and tell me nothing was wrong w the heater. then they try to charge me $220 (trying to fight me on it mind you) for someone just checking a water heater, and it wasn't even in my lease. I needed to ask them to point it out for them to realize it wasn't. news flash the water still gets cold after 15 mins. didnt feel like dealing with unnecessary fines for a deeper problem they are too cheap to look deeper into. do yourself a favor and stay away. you are better off on FB market place lol.
