I don't have much to compare with, other than evening gowns, but I was surprised that taking in the waist on a pair of pants was more expensive than those gowns in the past. The payment system was a bit confusing as well. I'll admit, I did not notice the signs inside the establishment that indicated "cash only," so that is my fault, but the electronic invoice that I was sent made it appear as though I could pay with card online. The website also does not have clear indication about payment types accepted. In a day and age when not many people carry cash or have paper checks anymore, this could be a drawback for people utilizing this business.

Jim, the owner was at the front desk and he was extremely helpful and welcoming. I was assisted by Carlos with my laundry and he was also very personable. When I returned to pick up my dry cleaning, another gentleman was at the front desk and the high level of customer service was maintained. My experience doing my own laundry was economical and the equipment did a great job. My dry cleaning was received when promised and I am pleased with the quality job that was done. I will continue to patronize this business and hope they remain in operation for a long time!

Various mistakes were made, including that one jacket that was to be cleaned apparently was not, they didn't follow through on sending back to me some buttons I had brought that were to be used (but weren't), and, topping it off, their phone number was out of service for at least several days, which prevented interim communication and actually made me wonder if they had closed down. I love how I get compliments on my shirts, just the other day 4/4 someone asked was my shirt brand new. They said that they loved how my shirt looks. The services requested were laundry with mild starch, sometimes placed on hanger or sometimes pressed and folded and placed in a box waiting for pick up. My pants are always pressed with a perfect crease. The value is great here and not over charged. I went to a neighboring cleaners once because I was in a rush, they charged more and the shirt came back dirty. I am a big fan of Hamilton Cleaners. They are an old school cleaner and have been around for years…read more It is one of the rare business where they know your name when you walk in the door. The owners Rick and Marie are exceedingly friendly and helpful and do top quality work. They also do alterations which I have been very satisfied with (shortening pants in my case). They are one of the few cleaners who offer "Chinese style" shirt cleaning. This means that instead of all of the cardboard and plastic junk that most cleaners give with a laundered shirt which wastes paper and causes your shirts to take up more room in storage, the shirts from Hamilton are packaged with a bag and a thin paper strip. This is better for the environment and saves on storage space. You need to ask for this service. As far as how they handle the clothing, I will give an example. My shirts are made in England where genuine mother of pearl buttons are used by the better makers as opposed to plastic. Prior to going to Hamilton, these buttons were broken regularly. Since I started giving Hamilton my business, I have not had this problem. Hamilton is used to handling expensive clothing and know how to properly take care of quality clothing. I recommend them whole heartedly.
