The academics are top-notch and the athletics and extra-curricular offerings are all that you would get from a larger school, but with more opportunity given the smaller size. You and your children are "known" at BCA and are part of a large, loving family. Our children have made their faith their own and all have strong character traits that we greatly attribute to BCA. Since BCA goes through 8th grade, our oldest child has recently transitioned to a large public high school and is flourishing. I was previously a student at Norcross high school in the band program where I had a band director…read morenamed Mr. Gresham who is going to start teacher band or music at Richards middle school. I left Norcross high school because of the way I was treated in my band class. Mr. G was first of all a very strict teacher who praises the students who are perfect have good grades and a good home life which is not what you first think of when picturing an ideal teacher. When he first started working at Norcross many students found his twitter and the multitude of dirty and downright disgusting tweets. Which made me very weary of him from the beginning. He would be very rude to students including me and my friends trying to reprimand us at every opportunity. I was not one of his favorites or Even a student he liked. I had a rough life at home and would often times skip school but I was trying to make an effort to go while my time at Norcross was getting closer and closer to an end. I have generalized anxiety and depression so going to school was very hard. And when I would show up to classes days in a row Mr. G would make the class clap for me saying " we have to get to work Sela's here for a second day in a row" and often times call me out in front of the entire class and before I left Norcross my counselor tried to get a meeting with my teachers together and my band teachers refused to attend and I ultimately left the school to do online. Extremely disappointed in Norcross high school and even more in the band programs

I love that they have a sneak peek for the kids and there are curriculum nights as well. The PTA is superb and does a lot of great things to unite the teachers and parents! It's a wonderful place to send a child for school!
