Last month we needed a company to haul a few items of junk for us. We put our bid information out…read morethere and got several responses. Some bids were OUTRAGEOUS, and other bids were "okay" but the moving time frame did not work for us. Anyway, Blue Mountain Contractors out of Arvada, a man named Jason D. sent us his/their company bid. We accepted and went to their website to sign up for a specific day/time for the job to get done within the next couple of days from the bid's acceptance.
The day/the time frame that Jason D. and his crew were supposed to be at our home came and went. We had to text him to see what was going on, where he and his crew were at, and ask why they were extremely late getting to our home? After several text messages, that got us nowhere, we called him. It was a Friday and he claimed that his trailer had a flat tire and that he would fix it and be on his way over to our home. We understood - things happen. We waited another 30 minutes or so and texted him. He explained then that he was still working on the situation. So we waited for him and his crew another 30 minutes. Finally, we called thru to Jason D. again and he apologized and stated that he would be on his way over to our house and that he would leave the trailer with a crew member for them to tend to the flat tire situation and drive his pick-up truck over. We reminded Jason D. that we had 3-4 items that required the trailer and at least 2 men to move them (as we specifically laid out in the bid AND reiterated on their website - so everyone at that company should have been aware of the items and manpower needed! Ughhhhhh!
Anyway, we decided to call that day a wash and he offered to come over with his crew the next day, Saturday. We thought we'd be nice and move our job to that following Monday morning, that way he would have enough time to get his trailer tire fixed and be ready. He agreed and was thankful for our understanding, also for standing us up - he also offered and agreed to a significant discount for us. We agreed and told him that we would see him Monday morning between 10am and noon (those are the hours he chose).
The Sunday before Jason D. and his crew were scheduled to show up, we texted him to remind him of our new appointment day and time the next day, Monday, along with the significant discount he promised us for his and his company's appointment delay. He texted back, agreed to everything and said he would see us on Monday. Well guess what???? Monday from 10am thru noon came and went.... Jason D. and his Blue Mountain Contractors of Arvada NEVER SHOWED UP, NEVER CALLED, NEVER EMAILED NOR TEXTED US REGARDING OUR NEW APPOINTMENT WITH THEM!!! WHAT A WAY TO DO BUSINESS FOLKS!!!!! We called the company phone number and 2 cell phone numbers that Jason D. had called and texted us from - NO ANSWER! Our text messages also went, unanswered. Matter of fact, this incident was last month and to this day, NO ONE FROM THAT COMPANY HAS EVER REACHED OUT TO US!!!!
Whomever gave this company a 5-star rating must be a family member or good friend because if we could give them a negative zero, WE WOULD!!! They need to be taken off of Yelp, Angi's List, BBB, etc. People, don't waste your time with these fools! They are a joke!!!! And beware, companies like these often change their name, a portion of their original name or the entire name altogether and continue their shenanigans under a new shingle.
