The place is a dump. Nothing has been renovated since 1970. It smells like they have flooding issues and if you complain your rent is raised and get threats. Forget about maintenance. They give you the evil eye. Car got towed and they will not give company information. Weekend woman in office gives the runaround. read more

I would give zero starts but it won't allow me! 2 years ago when I moved here I thought it was a great idea. My job was literally 2 mins away! When I viewed the property I saw people had pets. Clearly it says no pets allowed when I asked the women in the office they said they are emotional support pets. So before I moved here I had to Re- home my cat because they said no "pets allowed" that's bull! Almost everyone in that damn place has one! And I know for a fact they all are not emotionally support pets cause I got to know many people when I lived there! So they lied! also I was walking my granddaughter and a huge dog with no leash came towards us! I called the office & they didn't believe me! Meanwhile I took a picture of the damn dog! They were rude! Unprofessional & disrespectful! Also I don't recommend renting a first Fl. The people above were seriously the loudest & most annoying neighbors I have ever endured! You here "Everything" crime is terrible the cops were there all the time! I seriously don't think Millbrook dose any background checks! At all!! I moved the best thing I could do!! Thank god! I will say Maintenance has been amazing! A great bunch of people! Efficient & responsive! They were the best & only part about living there! I wish the lady's in the office were as respectful & efficient as them! But oh well! I couldn't even do laundry the machines were always broken! So that's useless! There Park is a joke with broken swings! Not much to do there! The other kids come right into the complex from the other complex & it's very noisy & worrisome. My view was the parking lot with a dumpster & bulldozer! Too noisy when being removed & used! My granddaughter couldn't sleep! And I had a problem with roaches!! Disgusting Along with nats everywhere! I'm a very clean person but when you live in places like this others not so much! Abandoned cars taking up too many spots! As well as cars not belonging to people that live there! They would just park their car & walk over to other complex! So parking was hard at times! Who ever is in charge should live there for at least 6 months! I guarantee they won't last! I only stayed because moving sucks! But I'm glad I left and found a nice quiet neighborhood now! No roaches no nats no noisy obnoxious neighbors! No dog's running around and a view I can enjoy! Living in Millbrook you get what you pay for! That's for sure! Honestly, you get 0 stars but Yelp won't let me: Things have gone downhill the last year here. We have a tenant in our building constantly smoking weed and it is seeping into several other apartments and when most people are working from home this is really stupid to even be dealing with. We've asked management to look into it, adjust the ventilation in the building, or get the guy to stop because it is against the lease agreement and NOTHING has been done about it. Definitely keep looking if you are looking for apartments in the area. They don't care about tenants. Pass this one up. read more

I have lived here for a few months and love it. The grounds are kept nice and clean, and now that the weather is nice I see a lot of landscaping and flowers being planted. You can see that the complex is well cared for. The office staff is amazingly friendly, efficient and made the move-in process simple. They are also here 7 days/week and there's an in-line system for work orders. My apt is beautiful, it's spacious, quite and a nice place to call home. The location cannot be beat as it is central to all highways, trains, shopping and restaurants. It's also right across from MCC. Also, no issues with parking here. MillBrook-Village is a great place to call home and I'm happy I found this apartment. read more

I have lived here for the past two years and my lease is (thankfully) up next month. NOTHING positive to say about this apartment: Cons: - My car was keyed TWICE in the parking lot - had to add my own security camera in my bedroom window to face the parking lot in order to keep an eye on my car - Lack of parking - tight spaces - Neighbors are constantly screaming - paper thin walls, office does not care about complaints, I can hear the child ACROSS the hall yell non-stop each day and night - Hallway and entrance way has been under construction for the past MONTH (photos attached) - Kids running in the halls and keep their bikes etc. in the entrance way - People/kids walking through the parking lots constantly - yelling - Office does not respond to calls/voicemail - office seems to be closed at 3PM everyday - ANTS in the first floor apartments - EVERYWHERE - Sketchy people - NOT safe at all - Floors are uneven - spaces in between the wood - also very squeaky Please stay away from this apartment complex. I would definitely not recommend it to anyone. TERRIBLE experience. read more

I used to think this was a great place to live but it has really gone downhill. This place isn't safe..I've had my tires cut and neighbors have also had their cars vandalized. A friends car was stolen altogether and never recovered. The security here is lacking. Kids from the apartment complex next door cut through the parking lots here and wreak havoc. At 7am nearly every day, the maintenance staff will do whatever they can as loudly as possible, mowing the lawn, weedwhacking, drilling and hammering, snowblowing, whatever they feel like. The whole building will shake. They also like tossing sheets of metal from a high altitude onto the bed of a pickup truck behind my building..haven't figured out the purpose of that yet and it's been 3 years. It's deafening. So don't plan on getting any sleep while you are here. Also the walls are paper thin so if it's not the maintenance guys it's the screaming neighbors. Trust me..save yourselves! This is the year I'm finally giving up and moving out. read more

DO NOT MOVE HERE 1) Walls and ceilings are paper thin For example the inconsiderate jag off upstairs plays his radio sometimes until well into the night and I can here the WFAN jingles 2)The Russian guy across the yard gets up goes on his patio around 5am hocking his lungs out and you can hear it as if he's in the room with you 3) The kids in the complex come out and boot a soccer ball around and set up a hockey net and take slap shots Yeah good luck trying to get some sleep here 4) Maintainence operates their leaf blowers whenever they damn well please even if it is 7am on Saturday 5) the kids living in the condos in College Dr will cut through and make all the noise they want 6) if you live on the first floor prepare for an ant invasion Every 6 months I had to purchase anti ant pellets to spread out in front of my apartment to keep them from coming in 7) there are warehouses less than a mile down the road and you can hear the trucks backing alarm until 1 in the morning and start up again at 5am 8) the jerk upstairs doesn't give his wife a key to get in so at any given time I hear JEEERRRRRYYYYYYY! Let me in! What the hell! Give her a key or use the damn doorbell I'm done here. They just raised the rent for the 3rd straight year and it's now more cost effective to move and commute to where I work read more

As a former resident for over 10 years, I have nothing but the best to say about Mill Brook Village. Their staff was friendly and always understanding. The apartment was well spaced and clean when I moved in. The grounds crew always maintained the area with landscaping and snow removal. Emergency services and accommodations were always provided in a very timely fashion. Access to laundry and pool was always readily available and parking was never an issue. Online bill pay gave you options for easy payment and keeping up to date on community events. If you're looking for a great living experience in the central Edison area, than these apartments should be at the top of your list to check out, you will not be disappointed. I haven't been living at Millbrook Village that long, but the ladies in the rental office are truly amazing. They really went above and beyond for me and made me feel so welcome. They made my decision so easy as I was blown away with just how well they treated me. I felt like I knew them for years and they just made me feel so comfortable. The grounds are well maintained and clean which is so nice to see. The space is incredible and the closet space is more then enough and my favorite part of the apartment along with the balcony. read more

I couldn't be any happier here. I'm moving out soon and am actually sorta sad to leave. Now I first have to say that I'm sure everyone's experience here differs depending on your building/ neighbors. My experience has been great. I'm in a one bedroom so there are only singles and couples in my building, so I barely see a kid, or anyone for that matter. Where I am it is very quiet. The only noise I hear is from my upstairs neighbor walking. The grounds are very well kept. There is never any trash and grass/ bushes are always trimmed. There is plenty of parking. The pool is actually very clean and enjoyable. Office staff is friendly and helpful. Maintenance responds quickly and there is no hesitation to replace something if it's not working properly. The inside of my building is clean too. No bug issues. My apartment is a nice size and the bedroom is very big. There's plenty of closet room- enough for two people to share in a one bedroom unit if needed. The downside is these aren't newer apartments so there's no central air... It's baseboard heating... Basic bathroom and kitchen... Walls have been painted over 100 times but I've easily looked past that since it's affordable, safe, and clean. read more

Well I just gave them back my keys today and I can honestly tell you that I will sort of miss the place. I have lived there for two years and the people working at the front desk are the nicest. Beata is awesome! She's very nice and professional. She alone deserves 5 stars. Anyway, The apartment itself is very clean very well-kept hardwood floors throughout. Decent size balcony. Whenever there was a problem with the plumbing or anything I just gave maintenance a call and they came right up. The outside property is very well-kept. Maintenance people are always busy doing something and when it snows I didn't even own a shovel for two years because people just helped me out and the maintenance crew took all the snow away quickly. They have an awesome swimming pool that I'm so going to miss. I feel like I spent half my summer after work in that swimming. That swimming pool alone is totally worth living there. read more
