They care a lot, a lot more than you may think. For professional I would give them 5 stars, I love my Dr and Psych.

This has got to be one of the worst hospitals in the state. Based on personal experience within…read moreour family alone, the number of issues that constitute malpractice, gross negligence, lack of communication, mistreatment of patients or their family members by this place is too numerous to list. Do not send your loved one here unless you want them to be treated rudely, incompetently, without even mildly acceptable medical explanations or advice. Being a rural area, the hospital ends up with an unacceptably large portion of less desirable medical personnel. Unfortunately, this applies even more regarding management. They have a very few decent staff, but the odds are not in your favor! Further, they lie about their Emergency Department wait times being good. We have seen numerous people suffering for literally hours and hours during quiet slow times. I felt so bad for strangers in severe suffering waiting completely unacceptable amounts of time. We've seen a patient having a cardiac situation being asked to unnecessarily exert themselves. Cruel treatment of patients. And even when they mistreat a patient and you try to advocate for that patient calmly, coherently & without being at all physically threatening in any way, they will accuse you of being aggressive and call the police! We have witnessed them do this more than once. They are scared of being caught in their cruelty, incompetence, sadism & laziness. While we would never advise going there, make sure you have as many witnesses as possible, because they will do everything they can to hide! If we stand up as a community, we can begin the process of rooting out everything they try to cover up. If you don't feel like speaking up for yourself, do it for your neighbor!

I CANNOT get a person on the phone to discuss this bill even after leaving MANY messages between both myself and my daughter. I'm so frustrated! We will be filing a consumer assistance form with the Attorney General's office.

The five stars goes to the medical team that supported my son's delivery!…read more I would like to shout out: Dr. TT - delivered my son Shannon, Jade, Matt - anesthesiologist who did my epidural and medication for my C-section Director- Jenny RN - Nikki, Paige, Jess, Teri, Kayla, Katie, Kylie, Kallie, Megan - and all the over flows nurses that stepped in from other departments Dr. Wiedell - took care of my sons needs Dr. Michael Cady - all my appointments and checked on me after birth Ultrasound tech - Crystal I spent over 40 hours in labor and during that time in labor and delivery department every room was filled. Another local hospital OR had to close due to unforeseen circumstances and Crosby was able to take on those patients and help support them through their delivery. This created for a very busy time. I would've never known that this time could be a time full of laughter and joy. The day I came in Jenny and Nikki supported me the most and we're so fun to be around down to earth and very authentic. Every need and want of mine was fulfilled. I would've never known that they were completely filled as I felt like I got the full undivided attention and like I was the only one there. This team works so well with each other! I really enjoyed watching everyone work together as they work well together. The communication between everyone was very clear and you can tell they truly enjoy each other's company. You can also tell they truly love their job and they are very patient centered and have a genuine care for their patients. There was so many things I was nervous about as a first time single mother, but again the care I received helped reduce anxiety. Honestly, I did not want to leave because I was having so much fun and I really grew to enjoy the company of all the OB/GYN nurses.

By getting rid of Dr. Laprise it's obvious you're not important enough to them. Watch them replace her with a PA to save money. They drugged him up with a Fentanyl patch as well as pills. He was near delirious talking to trash cans. I would tell the nurses not to give him pain meds because he was getting to much. When I would return they had pumped him up with more pain meds. Was sweating to the point of being soaked in his own perspiration. Had a rapid pulse, and severe swelling. Unbeknownst to them my husband had 2 pulmonary embolisms. I jumped all over them and the doctor found the blood clots and transferred my husband to the Twin Cities. If I hadn't called the doctor out. My husband would have died. Both he and I have experienced multiple misdiagnosis as well as judgemental labels attached to us rather than competent medical evaluation. After all if the "provider" can't or won't do a proper evaluation and diagnosis they always fall back on "anxiety" and "mental illness to explain it away. Was in the ER and my husband expressed concern that I was about to have a syncopal episode. Moments later I faint. The nurse yelled at me and told me to get up off the floor, then proceeded to yank me up by my underwear. Nurses in the ER sit on their butts and read charts. They won't come unless you call them. Was seen for a allergic reactions to food. Am clearly having shortness of breath, itching and rash. ER Doctor was dismissive and said I was hot. I was definitely after that statement. Came in . Was given nausea meds that I was told I was likely allergic to. I told the staff 5 times I was having a reaction and they dismissed me. The nurse said no I wasn't, it's impossible and walked out of the room. I went in for my annual physical with my beloved primary doctor if 20 years. When my husband and I tried to open the door the receptionist slammed it in our faces. When we finally got in an sat down I was speaking to my husband, when I was verbally assaulted by another patients husband. The receptionist called for the entire clinic to assist. I was blamed and several weeks later Essentia removed my doctor from my care, while suffering from chronic illness. Sadly, I can tell many more bad and frightening medical issues we have had with Essentia hospital, clinics and staff. DON'T kid yourself. If you make a complaint nothing will come of it. They always side with themselves. They aren't Patient Advocates. They work for the Company and they will never admit when they are wrong. But one day they will stand before a Mighty King and Just God. And they will stand accountable. Went to the ER and was denied entry because our Faith didn't coincide with policy. Went to Urgent Care and was refused care and told to leave. Two weeks later my husband was dead from Covid pneumonia. I know I will die at the hands of a "medical provider" Healthcare has taken over the medical field. It's a death sentence for us all. It's about parading people in a out like cattle. Has nothing to do with caring for the sick. It's about money. If you are sick or having an immediate need, there's isn't a chance you'll get an appointment. They are all booked up with follow ups. No skill, no patience, no time, no exam, no evaluation, no conversation. Doctors don't have the time and frankly I don't think they care. As for their training I think it's a bare minimum and anyone who pays the tuition can be a physician. No such thing as a real doctor ANYMORE.
