This is my brother who passed away in hospice care in Varo beach and this funeral home is the worst most unprofessional business I have ever witnessed. My brother had no next of kin listed so my other brother called millennium and lied and falsified documents wrote a fake obituary online and convinced this Rachel girl at millennium that he was the next of kin and Rachel without verification of any of this information shipped my brothers remains to my other brother violating Florida state law. Now she refuses to talk to my mother and I she stopped at the post office my brothers remains from being shipped to my other brother after she found my other brother was trying to extort me for a 1000.00 dollars to pay him for my brothers remains. This woman Rachel and this funeral home are very unprofessional and our not following the law. My poor mother who is fighting cancer herself and who recently had a heart attack is devastated over the fact that millennium won't release my brother ashes so we can bury him and just say goodbye. I asked Rachel why she is doing this and she says the owner/director is afraid we are going to sue for what they have done and they don't know who to believe and I quite " I honestly have already wasted to much time on your dead brother especially seeing as how the state only paid us $400.00 dollars for our services" my brother was poor and indigent with cancer. I am truly heartbroken that their our people and business like this in the world. I just wanted my brothers remains to say goodbye and told her I did not want to sue or take anyone to court unfortunately I had to higher an attorney this afternoon to help bring my brother peace in the after life. I hope all visitors and readers of this site will go and provide other funeral homes with your loved ones last needs and your hard earned money this people don't appreciate us as customers. read more

My husband passed this month, Millennium took care of all the arrangements. Highly professional, reasonably priced and efficient. When arrangements were complete, and funeral date set; Millennium kept the pressure on both the doctor to sign off on the death certificate, and the newspaper for obit corrections. Jim's staff made numerous phone calls to Gannett News paper (owners of TC Palm) to correct their print of the obits. I found out, our TC palm obit receivers aren't local to Vero Beach, and could care less about the final result. They were located in Chicago and took it upon themselves to list an incorrect city. mess with the submitted photograph. Then came the five day delay from the medical doctor to get his signature on the "Natural Causes" death certificate. Doctor was and still is useless on several levels. Millennium kept the pressure on the doctor, time schedule was critical with funeral date set. All procedures were frozen, until the death certificate was received. It looks like they have changed staff for the worse. Our experience was terrible from the beginning to the end. I do not recommend this service. Jim was kind from the first phone call so we chose to go with them. I don't know if it's the staff change or just incompetence but I wouldn't wish this experience on anyone.We had major issues with staff at Millennium Cremation Service in Sebastian. Communication was poor, promised timelines were missed, treatment all together was poor and billing was unclear. We escalated the matter to owner Jim Young but received unsatisfactory responses. This caused significant additional stress during an already difficult time. Consider other providers. read more

A friend whose husband recently passed away recommended Millenium to us by saying the were the most caring and thorough service she had ever seen after calling around to other facilities. That was all we needed to contact Millenium when my mother passed away over the labor day holiday weekend.
