Dwayne and Mark were amazing and excellent workers!!! This was not an easy move, large 3bdrm/2bath home to twobdrm/2bath trailer. We really underestimated our accumulation from over 30 yrs in our home! They worked so very hard and efficiently. Beyond expectations! We were not so happy with a bill that was almost 3 times what we were quoted. Mr Small Move compromised and we were told that someone usually comes by to estimate the cost. Utilized for 4 moves. No issues with the movers sent. On the 4th move, they broke a mirror. Offered 60 Cents per pound but had to come into the office and fill out a ton of paperwork. They lost a customer over total nonsense. Find someone else. Quite an expensive moving company too. Sloppy! read more

They should have reviewed you with less stars i thought you were nice company and honest but it turned out when I received my things after they were stored in your facility for two months they were tampered with things missing broken clothes missing things repacked or thrown back in different boxes even took my record player out box played it left record on player . I could say more an more but I hope you can see the picture and they were thrown back in boxes. Nothing came to me packed as the way it left my home. My record player was even unpacked and played and they left a record on the record player. Nothing was like it was when it left my home. I used them once with great results. I used them again, and it was a very bad experience. I even used the same team of guys. They were careless and lazy. We had a lot of damage. Many items were not wrapped which led to damage. The only things they packed were 3 TV's and 2 were destroyed. They didn't reassemble our Sleep Number bed correctly and we had to contact Sleep Number ourselves. I could have hired a different company for over $1000 less and now wish I had. We did not choose replacement value based on how well the first move went. This time we took the standard $.60 per pound and received a pittance compared to what it will cost to repair items and replace TV's. I would not ever recommend this company. read more

Dwayne & RJ from Mr. Small Move helped move furniture from one house to three houses. They were on time, very efficient and really nice guys. They packed the truck efficiently so where each stop was the furniture was in line to come out of the truck. No moving furniture to get to other pieces. It was great! Absolutely horrible! First of all, they quoted me one price then doubled it the day of the move. They told me that the charges were all this extra wrapping of furniture and items. I had them move me into a storage facility. The unit was packed from top to bottom so it was hard to see if everything was wrapped in how they did it. I recently went to move it out of the storage facility and oh my gosh what a nightmare. I had a ton of broken items. The way they packed it in there was absolutely horrendous. They stacked the light boxes on the bottom, and the heavy stuff on the top. And all the extra charges for the wrapping was just a complete lie. None of my glass was wrapped they didn't wrap my beautiful wooden desk that is now all scratched up. All the glass table tops were just wedged in there with no wrapping whatsoever. Plastic storage boxes completely crushed with broken items in there. I would stay far far away from this place. Absolutely despicable.!! read more

I do not recommend Mr. Small Move . They broke two large pieces of furniture including an antique chest and a tall dresser in addition to a couple of small things during the move. I'm just now finishing unpacking and I have a few things missing, including a large jar full of coins that I saved for over three years and other home decoration items. I have looked in every box they packed and these items are not here. Things don't just walk away and they claim no responsibility. I would definitely not recommend this company. read more

Used for a local move in Vero, April 2021. Broke a 30 year old wall mirror in the truck due to the fact that it was never wrapped or protected. We were never told by the movers and after searching for the mirror after the truck left, it was as no where to be found. Subsequently, after calling the office we were told the movers had broke it inside the truck. The insurance company for the mover places a value on anything broken at .60 cents a pound. This $800.00 mirror from 30 years ago has a value of $18. Beware- be totally involved in your move and be sure to take out the FULL COVERAGE OPTION! read more

We used Mr. Small Move recently for a local move. Moving is always stressful, but moving during a quarantine is even more so. Tiny, Dwayne G, and Lonnie were consummate professionals. They took all the necessary precautions, were polite and were VERY hard workers. Despite the rainy conditions and my special requests, I never once heard a complain. I strongly suggest you do not use this company. Three days before our move they cancelled our move completely making us have to search for a new moving company in time to close and move out of our house in what another company told us was the busiest time of the year. On top of cancelling our move they were extremely unprofessional in their responses (written and verbal) and upper management had no control over their employees or the fact that they had messed up the entire move in general. We first confirmed our move with Mr. Small Move 10 days before our desired move date. They guaranteed a move of 8:30 am and the date we have wanted, they even sent out an estimator who once again confirmed the date in person. Following the estimation the company sent us an email saying we were not on their schedule and to email to confirm. We immediately did so and called them as well only to receive a voicemail - this was inside their business hours on Friday. On Monday, we heard from the company saying that we were scheduled for Thursday but they had moved us to the later slot between 10:30 - 2:30, not ideal but we were at their mercy. A few hours later we received a call saying they were unable to move us because our move was 20 miles short of their long distance policy. They knew the move location upon our first call. We stated we would just pay the difference of the 20 miles - they once again confirmed that they were able to do the move. Again, a few hours later they stated they were not able to do it because of distance.... This is when I asked to speak to a manager. The manager was not on duty/onsite and I was told she would call me back - when she called me back she said that they did not have the capacity for the move (nothing to do with the distance, which I was previously told) and had zero remorse for the situation. Luckily, we were able to find a different moving company after scrambling - Do not let this company trick you into thinking you are scheduled when you are not. Pick a different company. They are so DISHONEST I'd never recommend them to anyone!!!!! They quoted us a price of $5,600.00 and I said to them I don't want any surprises on the price After I signed the contract and I was guaranteed there would not be a difference in price. Well when I got to the other end the price went up more than double it cost me over $12,000 to move to my new location my furniture had mold on it and it had several tears and cut on various leather furniture, it was a nightmare. I had over $10,000.00 in damages and was given a little over $500 and I sent pictures of all the articles and damages!!! They said it wasn't on their list!!!! read more

I regret using this company over white glove They charge the same price per man hour but are not near as Proffesional. They damaged my brand new beautiful mattress and box spring by not covering it properly and dragging it thought their dirty greasy truck ! It was a very expensive mattress set I took months to find and I have not even finished paying for it yet I expressed my concern over and over about wrapping with the plastic I supplied The workers had attitudes like I was being too picky they said ww will take care of it with a attitude and we're very disrespectful. The mattress and box spring cost four times more than the move cost When I called to ask for the owner or manager to call me back no one's called me it's been four days now ! If you care about your items do not use this company if you have anything of value you will regret it. Then took them 2 hours to try to put a bed together And couldn't do it my husband ended up having to put it together. Just the fact that they don't even bother calling you back after they damaged your things is extremely disrespectful rude and unprofessional and I would never ever recommend this company ! read more

BEST and hardest working movers ever! Three guys showed up to move a sleeper sofa. It was a very difficult move and they never gave up. They showed up on time and worked so well together. They were prompt and their movers very polite and careful with furnishings. However, they lost a piece of furniture, which happened to be the only antique I had and a family heirloom I purchased 35 years ago, while it was in 30 day storage and under contract, at their location. Supposedly, according to what an employee at the front desk told me, all my furniture was kept in storage together in a locked archive and not mixed with anybody else's furniture. If it was stored the day I had them move it from my house with all my other furniture, and put under lock and key, how did it come up missing? All they could do for me was give me a claim form to fill out with their insurer. It has been 3 weeks and 2 phone calls and I have not heard from their insurer yet....... Not good. I used Mr. Small Move for my relocation on 3/2/2017. They came highly recommended. I had them send someone over to give me a better idea what the price would be as everyone was quoting over the phone. I showed him everything I was moving. After reviewing all my in house quotes I chose them. The day before I decided to take a bedroom set that I originally was not taking. I called to make sure that would not be a problem and told it was OK. The truck showed up that morning on time. When I saw the truck I knew everything would not fit. The men agreed and called the office. They finally decided to send another truck with an additional 2 men to help finish the move. A move originally quoted for 6-8 hours 1 truck 2 men now became a 10 1/2 hr job, eventually 2 trucks and 2 more men. All the men were very professional and absolutely no complaints about them. I was then told the rate would change to $175.00 per hour when the other truck showed up. I was able to talk Danielle down to $150. an hour. So a quote from $1040.00 went to $1613.00. I called the office after the move and spoke to Mike the owner. He had the salesman call me and tell me that I must have added things to the move. I told him he was absurd. When I mentioned why 2 trucks did the men not know how to load the truck he said probably. BTW the guys have been working for them for years. Needless to say he said he would talk to his boss. I gave them a few more days and called Mike the owner. He was not available so I left a message for him to call me. I'm still waiting, hence this review. read more
