It seems there's a new refrigerant on the market and the new shiny thing's are always gonna cost and have more problems. Brian had some of the current type available and His price was in our budget. If you read enough of the reviews, I want the "goods". Good service, good price, good product, good installation, etc. These guys deliver the goods consistently. I have to mention this to lead into the decision making process. Like most, I shop around looking for "goods". However, when Brian came up with a price in our range, we were done. We saved for this, but when he offered a great price and went over the unit, we bought it. There was no shopping around. I am almost embarrassed to admit that. However, I guess I have a lot of trust and have yet to be disappointed. It got us through summer and so far through winter, if that's what you call it this year. I have nothing close to a complaint or inconvenience. "The guys" at Keith are all great to work with. Their work and ethic is old school, customer focused. You can't ask for any better.

He knows his business, works hard, and is very reasonable. He rewired and replaced our thermostat, even put it in a different room/area. He took his own 100 ft hose out and around the house and washed more grit, dirt, mud and accumulation out of it than you could ever imagine. It's working great. He also checked out the other side and is going to give us an estimate on replacing the unit on that side/half of our house. And his charge was $175.00 for everything he did. He spent at least two hours here. His name is Shane Gregg and he's been in business 8 years. I would highly recommend him to anyone. Honest, hard working man.

He found a few items we need to address over the next few months to prepare for this summer's heat. He carefully explained what repairs need to be done showed us where these problems existed. He also gave us a couple of options for moving forward. The estimates were thoroughly explained. We feel more than comfortable with his recommendations.

The man who came to fix the leak didn't know how to find the leak. He made 7 holes in my walls. I paid him 2400.00 to fix the leak . He informed me at the end that Alco doesn't fix holes . I would have to get a sheetrock man. Then he said he could fix it but it would cost 350. He came when he got off work each day and made a huge mess. This went on for about a week. I finally found someone else who would come back and fix it for me. He did a beautiful job, but that cost another 900.00. Not to mention the job turned out to NOT be a 2400.00 job like they estimated. I would have much rather paid by the hour. Live and learn.

The heat index during this time is 109°. 4 days go by & I hear nothing so I call. Brittany answered & said the woman that handles home warranty has been on vacation. When she returns she will contact the home warranty company & try to get the compressor ordered! THEY HAD NOT EVEN ORDERED MY COMPRESSOR!!!! It's 87° in my house during the cooler hours! R. recommended a UV light so the problem would go away and not come back. He (J.R.) gave me a small book on the UV light and how it works. The UV light was installed with my wishes.
