The downside is that over the past couple years the office seems to be understaffed. Both me and my wife can rarely get ahold of the front desk during business hours, when we are able to call. Also, this last year has tempted me to try another place as I have been needing a referral for a worsening condition and have tried constantly reminding the office and Linda with no luck. I don't have until I can't walk to wait for a referral and will be looking for another doctor here. In summary, great doctor, terrible front desk and service and no since of urgency when referring patients out to other specialists.

I had a bone density scan this week at St. Luke's Eagle location. A majority of my appointments…read moreusually take place downtown or in Meridian. So, it was nice to have a 5 minute drive to my appointment since this office is down the road from me. The receptionist here is so nice! The downtown location should take a couple lessons from the Eagle location. The receptionist smiled at me. She was kind asking me my general check in questions. She had personality. These basic skills are lacked in 90% of the people who work in registration downtown. If I can have all my appointments here, I would. I hung out in the waiting area till it was my turn. Zach, the imaging tech called me back to the scanning room. He went through the process of the scan with me and guided on how my properly lay on the scan machine. He had me position my legs differently for a couple scans. And before I knew it, I was done. It was quite an easy process which was nice. My other appointments require getting poked at. The Eagle office is night and day compared to Downtown. They are so nice here. It's a smaller facility with an Urgent Care unit which is nice for non emergency visits. It bums me out that I have to deal with the rude receptionists and security check in staff when I'm Downtown. But it was nice to see how the other half are treated at this location. I will have to get more appointments fulfilled here. I leave happy which is nice.

Additionally and most important: her office staff need to be replaced with competent staff. My family member suffered ongoing severe pain while more than one referral, at separate times, didn't get processed and ultimately lost. My family member was afraid to say anything because of the attitudes of the Dr. and staff. Her needs were only met after contacting the insurance company, the BBB and the medical board. Then they moved and had the referrals done in one day. We left immediately after that and located a wonderful doctor that truly cares. If Ms. Price-Miller is ill or going through a personal trial in her life, she should take an absence of leave to address those issues without is affecting her patient care. Drs. send you to a specialist and they only look at their tiny specialty in my experience, and don't see the interaction of other issues at play. I can't even give her and Madison in her office who is equally as wonderful and helpful enough stars to demonstrate how helpful they have been and how grateful I am that they care enough to get to the root cause of my problems. yes, functional medicine is expensive but some insurances do pay for it. Bite the bullet and do it for your quality of life or find insurance that will pay.

And we are so glad we did. Even though it took four months to see him it was well worth the wait. He was so professional, kind, sincere and respectful. He is also a US Navy Veteran as I am and that was another plus. Dr Moore was very patient and a great listener. He went over my health history and asked a lot of questions about my previous health issues and care. He was very thorough and offered some great advice. He never rushed our meeting, even though the office closed at 5 PM and we were fifteen -twenty minutes past that time. What a great first impression. He really made us feel comfortable.
