Going local isn't always best. Our family had used Miller bros for years and they happily overcharged for work they did not perform correctly. Recently, when we called to have them help replace a leaky valve and do some other troubleshooting inside the main lines, it took forever to get a call back, then more time to lock down an appt. The day they were supposed to come, they never showed up. Dude. If you're too busy or can't fit us in, just tell us. But randomly, the next day (at a completely different time window) Tommy showed up without notice. He didn't seem to know what he was doing or was confused or maybe he just hates his job? Who knows. He turned the valve in question (by sheer brute force) that needed to be replaced and said it was fine. It wasn't. If it was fine, we would have been able to close it to stop water from consistently running the toilet. This was later proven by a competent plumber (who also showed up when promised) and it turns out, there was a leak behind the wall - where Tommy never bothered to check - shocking! I suspect Tommy actually had to break the valve to get the handle to turn, which likely made the leak worse. We never heard back from Tommy or anyone else, so I reached out multiple times (again) and once I reached "the office" (same person who scheduled us) I was told she didn't know anything about the visit and had no info on what Tommy was supposed to have reported. This meant they had no estimate. She "The office" told me they would send the estimate within a few days after someone named Rick was back in town. I guess that's the owner or the owner's son? Then she shared a bunch of personal stuff like that was the reason why they had been unprofessional all this time. I'm empathetic, but if your personal life is always going to get in the way, maybe just shut down until you have your business together and can actually help people. "The office" finally texted with a quote - just a dollar amount with no explanation of work. I pressed for details and was appalled to find that their estimate was more than twice what we ended up paying with a better plumber who showed up and got the job done as asked and then some. The expensive pricing I could almost forgive, until the plumber we used found evidence of super shoddy work Miller Bros had previously done - instead of properly repairing a hole in one of the main pipes they had worked on before, they had thrown a random sheet of metal over the hole and just covered it with dirt. This left the hole exposed and god only knows if that caused the damage and trouble we had been experiencing. I always want to give businesses the benefit of the doubt in these situations, but the evidence of Miller Brothers incompetence and unprofessionalism is overwhelming and was proven beyond a reasonable doubt in this case. read more

Perfect plumber! Hunter was competent, affordable, and honest. He repaired a leaking pipe in our wall. We asked him if additional repair was needed on another section, and he said it wasn't needed--this was refreshing because another plumber tried to upsell me on hundreds of dollars of unnecessary repairs and memberships. I started using Miller Brothers plumbing about eight years ago. They removed one of my Rinnai tankless water heaters when it started leaking and replaced it with a Maven brand. Since then I have used them for several miscellaneous plumbing jobs including moving and freeze-proofing a leftover construction hose bib in the yard. One of my hands-free faucets quit working and I asked them to replace it with a manual faucet. Scheduling jobs has been a pleasure with them. They answered all my questions. This is the third time I have used these folks and it is consistently great service. Called them to fix a leak in the bathroom shower. I had what I hoped was the needed part. They changed out the part using my part and charged me $170 but the leak continued. I called them again and supplied additional parts by manufacturer's numbers. They checked locally and could not find the needed parts so they shrugged and went on to their next customer. I called the manufacturer and they are shipping the parts to me. Miller Bros. should have refunded my money as they failed to fix my problem and have no interest in doing so. Beware! read more

Millers Brothers Plumbing has handled all our plumbing needs, since we moved to the Lake Conroe area. But they went beyond the ordinary service when they stopped water leaks in the 2021 hard freeze and more recently when they came on Christmas Eve in 2022 to fix a leak that saved our Christmas family gathering. !!!!!!!!BEWARE!!!!!!!! I called them out to fix the pipe under my kitchen sink and to also fix my outdoor cutoff which seemed to be rusted and couldn't be turned. They fixed those or so I thought. the cutoff is on the side of my house that I never go to and I didn't think I needed to check up on their work. Well guess I shouldn't have trusted they could do their job properly. Because fast forward a few months and I go out to measure the new pipe so I can winterize and find I have a pretty significant leak where they had replaced the pipe and cutoff. Call them back out and Im informed they could charge me because I waited to long after the job was completed. However I was watching so when they realized their guy had forgot the o-ring, he told me again that he could charge me, but he wasn't going to because he obviously forgot the O-ring. Well thought that was the end of it. But when I finally get out there to cover the pipes before the upcoming freeze I find that it is still leaking only such a little amount you can't tell until you trying to make sure it is completely dry so you can cover it. This time I call a different plumber and guess what it wasn't done properly so now I'm out the original cost of fixing it and now have to pay someone else to fix what they messed up. I recommend if you value your money and time at all they you stay far away from this company. read more

Provided excellent service by Miller Bothers. Honest and reliable, came out to diagnose the problem and didn't even charge ended up needing a new water, no pressure to buy from Millers. Tommy and his assistant Hunter replaced the water heater without issue. Replaced with a Rheem heater much better than the original and Tommy offered a few suggestions on how to pro-long the life of the water heater. Would definitely recommend Miller Brothers... Miller Bros. plumbing company is as good and honest as it gets. Have been in Conroe for years! They only charge a $35. service fee to come out while others charge $75 and up. They are honest people and guarantee their work and they won`t take your money if they can`t fix the problem. Never seen that happen though. They also clean up after themselves even if you tell them it`s ok to leave it and we`ll clean it up. Very nice and knowledgeable folks to deal with. read more

I have been using Miller Brothers Plumming for at least 20 years. Tommy just put in a new valve and fixtures in my small bathroom. He put a new fixture in the master bath a year ago when I remodeled my bathroom. James removed an old disposal a couple of months ago. Any time I have had a problem, they get out as soon as possible, mostly the same day. I could not be any happier with their service! read more

They came to reconnect a dishwasher(which they installed before), they finished the job in 30 mins. They over charged me for 160$ , Also charged me extra 40$ for trip , although the house is in Conroe which is less than 10 miles from there office. Will not use them again. read more

Extremely disappointed in this company. I have always been a very understanding person, especially during the most recent bad weather causing an extreme amount of problems and property damage for so many folks. They showed up the following morning of what they had said - Fine, no problem there. My husband had cut away the drywall and had done some initial investigating for leaks. All that was needed was a little saudering, and about 6" of copper pipe with 2 couplings. Easy fix, that if they could not complete the work...they should have stated that! But, they cut and capped an end to turn on water which was great, but did not fix it and charged $240.00 for literally a "Bandaid". After 2 calls, they have yet to get back with us. It has been 3 weeks. Needless to say - they took advantage of a desperate situation - the need /desire for water. I don't care how long they have been in service, very poor ethics as far as I'm concerned. We have since gone out and bought the equipment to fix it ourselves. VERY POOR SERVICE! FYI - this is my very first review of a company, so if that says anything!!!! read more

Second time I have used Miller Plumbing out of Conroe. The technicians never look professional. They left a mess every time, slinging water all over the house. Had them change out my disposal and they left a rancid mess under the sink, and they didn't fix the clog in the toilet at all, next day it was clogged up again. Installed two shower heads below 6 foot when standard is 6 foot 6 inches. Would not make good on it. Reinstalled a faucet that was already plumbed and taken out to work on back plash. Five minutes at most... charged $160. Two on site less than an hour, $475. They must think they have a license to steal. read more

I have used Miller Brothers for plumbing issues twice. Once in the kitchen and last time was for three thing outdoors. Each time they have come on time, which I truly appreciate. They have been polite and clean up their mess. Also their prices have been reasonable. I cannot expect more than that. read more
